okay, I can't keep this up. My name, as you already know, is Dante the Viking. I also go by Harlequin, which if you know the original Italian definition of the word, suits me very well indeed. I was born in Kansas to an interracial husband and wife, and when I was one we left Kansas for the more tolerant suburbs of California. I lived in California for seventeen years, unfortunately. My father was the recovery pastor at our church during that span of time, and he is also a psychologist with a degree in marriage counseling. Two years ago, now, we moved to Russia to work with a church here. My father is going to be training pastors to counsel recovering addicts and alchoholics.

I have clinical depression, Attention Deficit Disorder, and agoraphobia. On a more uplighting note, I am an aspiring author. I spend most of my time writing, reading, or watching films because it helps me learn about different aspects of telling a story. I also play a lot of video games and spend time online on roleplaying forums or researching a few...cryptozoological topics. I am 18 years old, and instead of the labels I am stuck with ("nerd", "geek", "loner", "Mister Nocrowds") I prefer to think of myself as a flaneur. See the newest Lemony Snicket book.

I want to be a writer when I grow up, and my current plan for myself is to finish the two years of Russian-language-classes I am taking, go to the University of New Mexico to major in Creative Writing and Russian, and then return to Russia and live there until I die. I administrate a proboards forum and spend a lot of time participating on other forums where I enjoy varying levels of popularity due to my odd sense of humor and rather gentle nature.

In real life I am quiet, shy, neurotic, and clingy. I don't make friends easily, but once a person is my friend I am very loyal to that person. My faith plays a large role in my life, and most of the time when I'm not at home I'm at the church helping to clean or set up for an upcoming service/event. I don't watch nearly as much television as I used to,which is unrelated to the church subject but still something I decided to mention for no real reason.

My favorite films are Labyrinth, Nightmare Before Christmas, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and The Corpse Bride. I am also a hopeless Godzilla movie fan.

My new favorite Godzilla movie is Final Wars, though I love Giant Monsters All-Out Attack and Destroy All Monsters as well.

Hey, Im Jalina and am almost completely obsessed with the books. I only have two of them for lack of money, but I read them at the library fairly frequently. Um.....................I like being totally and completely random.

This hasn't been a Very Fun Day for me. First, I'm told by an admin somebody wants me to join this miserable guild. There are dozens of other things I'd rather be doing, like following the adventures of The Littlest Elf, but unfortunately I have a duty to fulfil. And that duty includes posting an introduction on this dreary topic.
