"Don't worry... no magick. We can't use typical methods of healing on Sierra due to the demon taint... the same can be said for at least half of the people who dwell here... But being an elf, and the daughter of an apothecary, She developed an extensive traditional and herbal healing system. I'll request a natural healer."
Shin actually smiled a little, his face softening as Sun seemed to relax a little. His cheeks blushing slightly as Sun rested against him, playing with ebony tendrils.
They reached the the main floor and his footsteps echoed softly in the empty hall. A hand shifting carefuly as not to jostle Sun, as he pushed open the heavy oaken doors.

Sun could almost feel the heat building simply from walking towards the source.
"Aiysin's gonna be mad that you kidnapped me, you'd best send a message to her as well..." He didn't want Shin to get into trouble and lose his bodygaurd so early in the game.
"I'm going to have to get used to people knowing what I am...s'weird not having to explain." And a relief really. They knew what to expect, and that was a luxery he'd never had the pleasure of until now.

"I'll leave a message for her."
He grinned lopsided and started down the path towards the hotsprings as he added with just a hint of indignity,
"Y'know-- I don't really answer to her. Other than Sierra I'm really my own boss. It's just because they're the ones handling this mission that I have to be careful about treading on toes."
He grinned and breathed in a breath of fresh air. As they made their way down the path and branched off to the north west, skirting around to the back of the palace and towards the foothills of the mountains that stood guard over the DSBG.

He patted Shin's chest in understanding.
"Sorry Shin," Sun grinned. "The way she threw you up against the wall like that kinda made me misjudge the situation." He was teasing, but it took his mind off his body, and anything that could do that was alright in his book...to a certain extent. Rubbing his nose against Shin's neck as he said it might have been a little much, but it would take the sting out of whatever he said better then an apology could.
"There must be an ulterior motive to all this. You just wanna delay me getting my clothes on..."

"Ah yeah-- S'wierd. Don't usually see Aiysin act like that. In fact... she doesn't usually show much in the way of any sort of emotion."
He sighed and and flushed as Sun nuzzled him. Talk about distracting! But he didn't mind. The press of Sun's nose and mouth against his neck drew forth a warmth within him that made his face seem to glow with contentment.
He laughed, at Sun's jest. It was a low, rich sound. Like music... but a deep tennor.
"Well... I could have let you have your clothes, but then you'd of had to let me undress you too--"
He smiled down at the salamander and winked playfully.
"Sides, I figured the rendundant movement required would just cause you undo pain. You can wear as many clothes and layers as you like once you've been seen to."
Shin pressed a chaste kiss to the top of his head and stepped into a long, one 1 floor building. Built from wood with a low, sloping roof... the building for the hotsprings was a series of change rooms that backed onto their respective springs, with one small area for storage. Half of the springs were outdoor and the other half were inside mountain caverns.
"Inside or outside?"

"Wise words, still doesn't escape the truth of things." He grinned, even if a blush had started along his cheeks.
Privacy warred with Sunshine internally as Shin asked where he wanted to go.
"The sun would help...but being walked in on and stared at is a little daunting." He tilted his head and looked out.
"Your choice Shin, I'll go where your feet take me."

"The truth eh?"
Shin laughs and shakes his head, causing those long silken strands to sweep over Sun as he enters one of the middle change rooms. Normally this is where you would remove your shoes and garments, but Sun was only wearing a blanket and Shin was only wearing pants. Tight, leather pants. Oh baby, oh baby!~
"I don't know what's truth anymore."
He grinned boyishly at Sun as he toed open the door to the outside and stepped down the stone steps into the steaming water. The natural pool he had chosen, was one that backed onto the cave with a shallow half cavern, but opened up to the outside and was walled off with a 8ft bamboo divider, privacey and sunlight all rolled into one.
The steamy water sloshed up past calves, knees, thighs, waist... until the water spilled up over Sun, sucking him down into the wet warmth, the water rising to just below Shin's shoulders, lapping at Sun's chin.

"Hmm? People don't usually say that unless..." The hot water hit him and he caught his breath, letting it out really slowly, his eyes swam with a deep red and he looked down.
"Unless they expect to be lied to a lot." He leaned back and pulled his good leg up, huddling in the warmth lazily.
"Do you chose to be by yourself all the time Shin? Or is it forced on you?"

Shin carried Sun over to one of the natural stone ledges that acted like a bench. He'd be able to lean back against the heat soaked stones and keep his head above the water's surface. Setting him down gently he stands up tall, the sun rising behind him, casting a warm glow on the darkness of his hair, picking out the deep emerald highlights of the dark strands.
"Well... there are many forms of truths and lies. Not all of them come in the form of words Sun. Our realities... our dreams... us. Who we are-- or what we think we are--"
He shook his head, clearing his mind of that train of thoughts.
"Forget I said anything-- Ah. Well you could say that--- I'm not exactly the kind of person to bed anyone and anything... and the only three people I have any affection for.. are all off limits."

Sun's eyes opened and he squinted up at Shin, grinning.
"And what made you think I was talking about sex? I meant for missions. But, now that you've brought it up..." He took in all of the elf with a cryptic look. Not exactly sizing Shin up, maybe more like trying to look a little past the surface.
"Three? I thought there was just Sierra?"

Shin's eyes closed as Sun spoke her name, like it was a drug and he was addicted. Taking a deep breath he regained his composure and cocked his head to the side.
"There's a young woman whom I've grown very fond of... but despite her being an adult, her mind has the fragile comprehension of child's. I feel, any advance on her would be somewhat ***** realization and honesty in his voice was painful.
But he smiles and nods, an amused glint in his eyes.
"And yes, I choose to work on my own in the field."

Whether it was the heat, or the water, but Sun's common sense seemed to be draining away with the pain. One arm slid up on the ledge and two fingers were raised to Shin.
"That's two girls, both of which, I'll be honest, I probably can't help you with. I like girls, and they like me, but it usually ends up going very badly for me when I involve myself too heavily. We have that much in common."
Tellus slid into his thoughts and he closed his eyes much like Shin had.
"I'm sorry I can't be more...er...heterosexual about it all for you..." Shin's amused look was mirrored in the now blood red eyes, they didn't even swirl. Sun was practically drugged.

Shin smiles at Sun and shrugs, casting him a wink over his shoulder as he turns.
"If you went all het on me now-- I'd be sorely dissapointed Sunstrike Deepwater."
He grinned and tosses his hair over his shoulder, platering it to his toned back as he walks back towards the change room.
"Be back in a second, just going to message the Infirmary."

Sun was so stunned he didn't correct Shin on the name for a moment, just kind of stared at the elf's butt as he got out of the spring to send the message. Finnally he squawked after him.
"It's Datho Sunstrike!"
The fact that Shin knew the term "deepwater" made him shudder inside and out, even though the water was still incredably hot. That had hit a little too close to everything that was going on for comfort.
How much contact with Victor had these people actually had? And what had Sierra managed to tell them about her own contact as Ra'Kar?
Or was Henry able to get over his banishment...ready to work towards either Victor or Vahn's godhood. Sun didn't really think Vahn would take being a god too well, and Vick...well that was just madness. Powerful madness.
Henry had used the code word for the plan of Babel, something that Sun would understand...and the taunt was a vicious one.
He waited in subdued silence for a little while, then managed to relax again, like some kind of internal switch. There would be no point in angsting now, when everything was so comfy.

"Aye, aye! Daaaa~tho~"
Shin singsonged it over his shoulder. Picking up on Sun's discomfort, but opting to play oblivious as he sludged out of the water awkwardly. Tight wet leather made for extreme walking difficulties.
Inside he walked over to a mirror like window, with various runes ornamenting the edge of the circumference. It looked something like an arcane dial telephone--- and that's essentially what it was.
Shin touched a series of the runes in succession and was connected to an identical mirror in the infirmary.
A young woman in a green healers robes looked up at him, slightly startled as his face swirled into sight. Her cheeks flushing as she glanced at his shirtless form.
"Ahhhh--- Commander! Is everything okay?"
"Relax Talia, I'm fine. One of our guests isn't however. Tell Reiyvian that Sunstrike is with me at the hotsprings, centermost pool. He needs full treatment, she'll know what natural to send down."
"Ah!! Okay. You're umm, sure you're okay?"
"Yeah, fine."
"Oh, okay-- ahh, see you later then?"
"I guess. Thanks Talia."
"Oh! You're welcome Shin, uuhh... sir!"
He tapped a rune at the bottom and the mirrors were normal mirrors again. Shrugging his shoulders to try and release some of the tension that had gathered there, he slips into the changeroom and peels off the leather pants. Wrapping a soft, cotton towel around his waist, he steps back outside.
"Sorry 'bout that."
