The rattle of armour chimed on the chocolate skin of the fleet of stallions, all shimmering under the morning sun. Ren was not pleased, and his scowl could not be hid under his metal, dragon designed helm. His hazelnut eyes roamed around the sceen, as his troops held their weapons like their own children. "Where?" He barked, his head shooting to the mage riding astide what looked like a albino bat. The mage, adorn in indigo robes, closed his eyes, the red eye tattoo on his forehead glowing as he made soft, fluent hand movements. His hands then moved like liquid and slowly pointed ahead of the road. Ren shot his gaze ahead, and narrowed them to see a small, ram-shackled building. "We're close." Said the muse, it's voice a layer of three voices, one a woman's, one a man's, the last a man's, with a hint of a growl trailing behind. Ren's eyes flashed through his visor, giving the look that the dragon's head helm had glowing eyes. "Finally." He said in relief and bloodthrusty anticipation. The horses neighed as they started to trot, the armor chimming softly in the wind and over their legs.
((See. Too boring, so time to spice it up.))

"I'd like some breakfast," Hitori said to the bartender just as the army got close enough to hear. "I hope it's not too much to ask to eat it in peace," he sighed.

Greff grinned at Hitori. "Ye sure can have some breakfeast, but the whole 'eat it in peace' thing ain't happenin. That noise, my friend, is the sound of business. A whole troop of disgruntaled soldiers looking for a good bed, beer and ....well unfortunatly they are only getting the bed and beer, but they'll be paying for that and that is all I care about."

The troops that did get off their horses, left them in care of the stable hands that kept them in the woods at a safe distant. The rest trotted around the bar, and four of which found the stables and went inside. Ren waited on his horse, glaring at the small, rather disgusting building withering away in the shade of the forest. Ren slid off his horse, along with two trusted friends and the mage, who all walked up to the door, and slowly inside. Ren's eyes adjusted to the dim light, and then saw a dragon beast sitting at the bar, with the bartender discussig with it, and whipping glasses. Ren took off his helm, reveling a sleek face and mohogony hair. He went up, the mage closing his eyes and making wild hand movement, which where ignored by the men. "Bartender, does this place serve as an inn, or have it's workers live here?" he asked, the voice firm and thick. The mage was making little raspy noises behind him, and then looked up. "Someone's playing the violin." It said, the three voices echoing in the room.

As the men came into the inn Sortha put up the hood of her cloak and moved into a darker corner. She did not know the men and did not trust them. For all she knew they could be looking for her. So she sat in the back where she hoped to be unseen. Intell she knew that it was ok and they where not here for her.

"'Scuse me" Greff said to Hitori and Kitasu, grinning and giving them a wink. He turned politely to the man adressing him and nodded, saying. "Why yes, this place is an inn and tavern. We have quite a few rooms available as this is a well travelled road and some travellers prefer to remain outside the city. How many people are in yer party? I can possibly give ye a group discount seeing as there are quite a few of ye."

Ren smiled at the man's ways. A buisness man indeed. He went over to the bar, and set his armored elbow down. "Actually.." He said, looking about and narrowing his eyes on the hooded figure. "..I'm looking for someone. A girl." Atleast, that was what Ren hoped. His prey changed so often it made it a real challenge. Just as he turned his eyes off the hooded figure and looked up at the barkeep, a shrill ring of shrieks came from behind the bar. The Nalima from the stables was found, and was now tearing it's way through the stables at the troops, unsettling the cow-pig beast.
The violin music that was playing upstairs stopped, and Ren smirked as his eyes rose to the ceiling. "I think I'll let myself upstairs." He said, and started up the steps.

"Bloody beast..." Greff cursed under his breathe. "Tell me now, why ye need a whole troop of soldiers to hunt down a girl? I'm sure whatever palace ye come from has enough tasty morsals for ye. I can give ye room and board, but I must ask ye to stay away from my other costumers. Its bad for business."

Ren ignored the man and soon disappered up the stairs. However, his general was more than happy to fill him in. "Well, we don't know if she'll decide to turn into a dragon, or some unknown beast. Don't trouble yourself. We've known it far longer than you have. " he said, flashing a greasy smile. The mage was now watching the ceiling with worried eyes. "I'll leave and stay with the horses." He said, and left in a flicker of indigo robes. The general didn't pay him no mind, and then tossed some gold coins on the counter, and asked for a drink.
The Nalima outside was in full force. Despite having it's stomach open and a few organs exposed from it's rib cage, it tore out of it's stable and was flapping, swipping, and biting limbs and chains without mercy. The horses far away where still nervous and neighing for freedom to run away, leaving the stable hands with much to do. The yelling and ordering of troops where heard outside.
The soft clank of metal was heard walking down the hall, and then the quick thud of the door being swung open and hitting the wall.

Kitasu growled slightly when the men entered the tavern, but simply pocketed the key she had been handed and remained silent for a time, only twitching when she heard the Namila outside. She watched Ren climb the stairs out of the corner of her eye. At this time, she grimaced and got up, saying something about going to her room and brushing past the general and his men, ignoring them.
She climbed the stairs, following the impolite man quickly, clear past her room. She did not stop when he opened the door of whatever room he had come to, but instead came within earshot and continued. She grinned at him, coming closer all the while.
If she obtained his attention, she would speak loud enough for him to hear, but lightheartedly. "Good evening, sir! You seem to be in quite a hurry, ignoring the owner of this establishment and blundering up here uninvited, bursting into paying customers' rooms without permission. Is there something the matter or do you go around flinging open doors on a daily basis?" She would stop where she could see him, watching him and waiting for his response. Although she smiled at him amiably, she was in a vaguely alert position, ready to defend herself if she needed to.

Once Sortha knew it was not her they where after she got up and sat down at the far side of the bar. She still did not know the men and she did not like them there. She looked around still not sure it was safe for her to be there.

The other general, who was a old man ruffled with a fraying gray beard, turned as Sortha moved. A smile cracked on his face and he played the slobbering Cyrano part as he sat down at her table. "Hello there lass." He said, eyeing her up and down, and more in the upper middle.
Ren was smiling wide, now seeing Artemis frozen, holding her violin in mid stroke and eyes wide. However, when he was about to say something witty and cruel like 'this is it.' or 'the end of the line.', the dragon beast interuppted. He shot a venonous gaze to her, shaking his ebony locks about as his head shot in her direction. "Shut up you revolting beast, and do me a favor by hiding your disfigured genes in a room. Now respect breeds higher up in intellegence and be silent and gone!" He ordered, and shot his vicious scowl to the muse, who was now halfway out the window. He ran into the room, and was about to grab her by the shirt when he brought it back. He rememerbed never to do that again. However, he did leave the room, rush down the stairs, attracting the general's attention, and out the door."MAGE! Quickly now! It's at the window! Men, keep that beast silent and the rest block the building and all exits!" He shouted.
((Yes, I tend to cause chaos in my desperate need for action.))

It was immidiately obvious from the yelling that these soldiers were going to cause trouble. Greff didn't like trouble. He was determined to protect his clientel while they were under his roof. Greff got the man a drink and took the payment, placing it in the money box and keeping his hand down there as if busy. In reality he was slowly gripping the cludgel. He looked at Hitori. He hoped for the life of him that Hitori or Sortha would get the child out of there. In a stroke of luck, the man turned to Sortha...if Hitori didnt move soon, Greff would have to strike and hope that HItori had the presence of mind to take the kid to the back rooms.

Of course, Ketlin was the first thing on Hitori's mind. He huddled the kid in front of him and took the liberty to sneak into the kitchen. With the general occupied, it was relatively easy to do this before the other man yelled about blocking all the exits. He didn't think the soldiers had not noticed him, however, so he hurried to the back of the kitchen to see if there was an exit.
Kanlay had been outside when the commotion started and was listening at the back door from the kitchen until the solidiers started yelling about the exits. She showed Hitori out quickly and peeked in to see if any one else was going to be gotten out before either a hostage situation or serious fighting started.

Kitasu was about to react to Ren's words, but before she could grab him he was down the stairs. Cursing herself for not reacting faster, she quickly followed him. She was soon behind him and, just after he yelled something, she grabbed him from the back and neatly hip threw him over her leg. For half a moment, she stood snarling at him, her hand on the scimitar strapped to her back, pinning him down with her taloned claw. Her eyes burned and, for the first time in a long while, she looked absolutely furious.
Then it was gone. She turned around running, into the inn door before the soldiers had properly blocked it, through the bar area brushing aside soldiers as she focused only on going as fast as possible, up the stairs and down the hall. She skidded to a halt, stopping just at the open door where that disgusting man had been, and looked inside.
