"B-but he's a youkai!" she blurted out, still pointing, politeness forgotten for the moment. The woman WAS a dragon, right? She looked at her again ... yes, she was. So what was she doing living with a youkai like that?

"As much as you're a faerie." The raven haired man smirked. "Maybe you should get her to stop pointing, out of the fountain and dried? I'll be going back to my reading."
"You do so, dear." The woman gave a wave of her hand as the youkai left, leaving the two females alone. "Kanak adopted me when I was but five years old, I've lived with him practically all my life." She smiled. "Do you want to borrow a towle?"

She looked back and forth between them, slowly lowering her hand but still staring. Watching the youkai leave, she missed half of the other woman's question and so blinked for a moment before it replayed in her brain. "Uhm ... towel ... uh, sure," she finally responded.

"Grab your thing, wring out some water and come along then." The dragon smiled as she turned to face one of the corridors, waiting for the other. "Are you very surprised over a dragon and a youkai living together?"

She did so, wringing out as much water as she could but still dripping a bit as she walked over to her. "Well ... the species ARE supposed to be enemies, right?" she asked. She knew for a fact that youkai were generally enemies of the Spirit Tribe.

"Why, yes. The Youkai and Dragon Tribe are very much enemies, so I guess that a youkai and a dragon living together would seem a bit odd. But Kanak adopted me when my parents and our whole traveling party had been killed so how could I not love him? He's like a brother, father and friend to me, all at once." She explained as she led the way down the hall. "I think you'd be quite surprised if you knew all we have done together through the years." She smiled as she opened a door into a large bath. "Ah! Here we are." She smiled as she walked up to a pair of shevles, pulling a large towel out from one of them and handing it over to the other.

"I suppose so..." she said, not really convinced but ... there was nothing she could do about it at the moment anyway. She took the towel and began to dry off, mostly just patting at her clothes. If poeple actually lived here, maybe they'd let her actually use the bath later.

"Do you have change? I could wait outside if you want to." Micoi made a gesture towards the doorway that was simply covered by two, long pieces of dark blue cloth. Beads of pearls hung down on either side of the cloth so a soft sound was made every time someone entered or left.

In answer, she pulled a shirt out of her bag, water dripping off of it. "Everything's pretty much equally wet right now, so it doesn't matter. Thank you, though," she replied. She wrung that shirt out, then glancing at Micoi to make sure it was all right, hung it over a rod on the wall. She continued to pull things out and hang them up.

Sweatdropping lightly, Micoi smiled. "Do you want to borrow something? I can assure you all we have is dry at the moment."

She laughed slightly. "I've gotten used to," she glanced down at her wet clothes, "this after a while ... but if you don't mind, I'd love to borrow something dry."

She followed the other, looking around her at the castle and the scenery outside as they walked. She had yet to figure out exactly where she was ...
Her thoughts broke off when Micoi started talking again and she grimaced slightly but responded, "Gowns are fine so long as I don't have to go hiking while wearing them."

Laughing amused, she shook her head. "No, that wasn't really the thought. I usually sleep in what I was thinking of borrowing you. I'm a bit taller so I don't know if my other clothing would suit you." Micoi explained as she pulled out a long, flowing gown that was held up around the chest by a gold looking cloth band, the rest of the gown being of a silky soft, lightly sparkling, pale green color. It didn't seem to have any sleeves but went all the way down to the floor and was in the form of a circle cut in half, the rounder part facing the floor. Because of the large amount of cloth one would be able to raise their arms without really showing any skin. "This you could try."

Looking from her to the other, she nodded at the mention of different heights and said, "Yea ... that'd probably work better," with a slight sweatdrop. Sometimes, she really hated being shorter than everyone else.
