Professor Xavier smiled at Nick eager though unnecessary offers to pay his way. "I assure you Mr. Smith, knowing that you've found the Xavier; Institute and plan on making this your home, is more of a payment then I can ask for." Xavier paused before answering Nick's question concerning Wolverine and his healing factor. "Wolverine, or Logan as he prefers to be called, does have an advanced healing factor as a result of his mutation."

Xavier nodded appreciatively as Nick, apparently happy with this little 'interview' rose from his chair, said his good-byes and moved to exit the office. "As always," said Xavier as, waving to the boy as he left "my door is always open."

((Hey, Mistress, if you or Aaron is bored, perhaps you can Nick here can do something together...other then eat that is whee ))

Nick nodded his head one last time as he walked out of the Professors office and started to aimlessly walk through the halls to help familiarize himself with his new home. He noticed a few people stare at him but he didn't mind. He smirked as he began to disappear with a few puffs of smoke to let the others know what he could do and the fact he was like them..a mutant.

The deep and authorative voice of no one other then Raven Darkholme, Principal of Bayville high droned across the PA system and through every corner of the school. Sitting back int the comforts of her office she paused, not so much to read her note or gather her thoughts, but for the drama of it all. Her voice, as well as her presence was one that was feared by most of her students and respected by the rest. Undoubtedly they were squirming or cringing in their seats at this very moment. She chuckled at the thought, however, her announcement, for today at least, was mostly harmless.

"As I'm sure all of you undoubtably know," she continued, her voice even with a slight air of snip to it, "the school year is quickly drawing to a close here at Bayville. For some, or rather, all of you I suppose, the end couldn't be any more welcomed. Which is why, we have a few events planned for you students as sort of a 'finale' to the end of yet another school year here at Bayville." Raven smiled shyly into the microphone before continuing, "This coming Friday, starting at 8pm, Bayville will be hosting a semi-formal dance in the gym in which all Bayville students are welcome to attend. For your pleasure, we will have a live band and before any of you ask, no, attendance is not mandatory however, it is very much encouraged. More information to come at a later date, thank you!"

Turning off the P.A. Raven smiled at herself. Sure, a dance, in her mind it sounded fun, but for her students however, it was a whole other beast. Pretty soon, the girls would start freaking out about dresses and hairdo's and dates and the boys would start sweating over which 'chick' they wanted to wanted to ask out. She chuckled to herself, watching her student body squirm was always a past-time of hers.

Damion walked slowly up to the campus.He looked around one final time and sighed. He must be going crazy. Yes, that must be it. Nothing short of insainity could possibly force Damion to go near something as grose, as disgusting, as thouroughly revolting as... school. He swoar a few fatal words of resistance and began to walk through the campus grounds towards the school entrance. He wondered what they would think of him. He was missing a good three years of edecation. Actualy... now that he thought about it he had never realy been to middle school.

He had heard from a completely unreliable sorce that he would not have problems with prejudice here. That could be taken in many different ways but Damion would take his chances. After all, most places that mistook him for human wouldnt accept him anyway. They said there was just something odd about him that you couldn't get around. It wasn't something anyone could actualy describe so they just called it a bad vibe.

He had learned to live with it so far. But recently his last lifeline had been completely cut off and he had nothing left. He pulled the hood of his jacket down over his eyes in order to hide his face and stand out a little less. The manuvar was a complete failure but he was at the doors by now anyway. He took one deep breath and made his best attempt at a fake smile. Horrible. Well, he had never been good with appearences anyway.Now or never he thought as he opened the doors and slipped inside. Only a few students seemed to notice at all. Even Damion was not as interested as he should have been because at that moment a voice on the PA had hooked everyone's atention.

Kidd smiled and grabbed the paper. "kool! you know I was in the paper once before! but they thought I was a sea monster." she ate another carrot. Suddenly she heard the announcement in her head. she winced and smiled. "yay dance!" she slapped the tabled in excitement. What a fun time that will be had! what would she wear? who would she go with hum... she looked down and saw that she left an ice hand print. "maybe i should see the doc. before the dance," Kidd said plainly, "wouldn't want any mishaps." she smirked and ate another carrot. "but later... what do you want to do? school doesn't seem like a wise choice today, even though i want to check up on Becky."

At the mention of a dance Zion perked up in her seat of her world history class. She had fallen asleep behind the text book. This might give me a chance to redeem my reputation. She thought to herself with a small smile. People had been giving her odd looks all morning due to what had happened and as normal she had been shrugging them off. They always gave her weird looks anyhow. It was either her clothing, her accent, or the way she acted...now it was her being a mutant.

Stretching her arms she leaned back in her seat and grinned. Should I ask anyone or let them ask me...bah! Maybe I'll just go solo...hmm. Were the thoughts running through her mind right before she leaned a bit to far back and the chair toppled over with her in it. Everyone turned to look. Blushing furiously Zion smirked. "Eh...sorry?" The teacher just shook his head.

"well people are probiably scared s***less." darius said before taking a sip of soda "blah! how come the never refigerate thes things?"he look up at kidd."do you mind?"he asked.
'crap a dance i dont even know how.... who should i take?......' he though then look at kidd and smirked
