To all of you correcting mistakes during marching practice kudos!!! (assuming you are doing it tactfully) It's amazing how much improvement is possible when people know how to do something correctly. Helping each other is how we get better right? Some people (and directors) have got to stop with the superiority complex sometimes and allow for some constructive criticism and helpful advice. Have a jazzy day. smile

Well you say half time shows..... There's no more a thing in my school NOW.... We think of all of our practices and half time shows as chances to show our bd how much we LOVE heart our show.... Its TOP GUN!!!!

I loved marching band, but I always found ways to humiliate myself in front of my crush, who is the drum captain. Oh, and his stupid friends. Hahaha. I think he's starting to like me though! ^^ So I've worked hard in marching AND flirting!!!! 4laugh Hahaha, yesh! I love our halftime shows, too. We do this tribute thing to Santana. I heart Santana!!!

Ohmygosh I can't wait til our away trip!!! I'm so psyched! We've won all sorts of awards too. I'm glad to be in an award-winning band! Shout out to all who are in my band: I LUV YA GUYS!!!!

Usually the flutes in my band are quiet, girly, and mostly the girls who are only in it so they can be majorettes.
But I've never heard of guys playing flute in my band, unfortunatly they'd get made fun of so bad. sweatdrop
Ww do have one guy clarinet player though xd

im a 10th grader and i had my ver first practice today.and dang do my legs hurt!
we(flutes) had a sectional before hand and we learned this,so this was more like a review.it still hurt.

hey so im starting marching band 2moro and im kinda nervous. im a freshman in symphony band (the top band) and there are only like six of us, two in the flute section. any survival tips?
