babyboo17forever glengrin And they are very pretty and tranquil. I think most kids love aquariums. They really are. I am kinda in love with it but sad moment, two of the brand new fish we bought died within 2 days. Def upsetting and sad to explain to my daughter but when we told her we were flushing the fish so they could go to the ocean she decided the ocean healed them and they got to live a happy life so it turned out okay, It is always hard when that happens. Do not buy more fish from that same store; pick a different one as that one likely has a problem with keeping their aquariums clean, making the fish sick. Worse, if they are, other fish can catch what they have, wiping out an entire aquarium. A super clean aquarium and purchasing healthy fish are essential for succeeding with an aquarium. Read up on the basics of owning an aquarium; I'm sure lots of good info online. I owned one many years ago and I think it too began with winning a fish at a fair, lol. It's good your daughter found her own way of dealing with the dead fish. I was offline yesterday as I was out of town, and we had a slight misadventure. It's a two hour drive in heavy traffic and half way home, we got a call from the person who's house we were at; my h's wallet had fallen out of his pocket and was still there. So we had to turn around and go get it making our two hour drive home into 31/2 hours. Oh well, we did have a nice time meeting up with friends even if the drive to and especially from was arduous. Traffic was back up to preCOVID shutdown levels and heavy smoke almost all the way there. Luckily where their house is at, the winds were blowing the smoke away, making for a pocket of clear air in an ocean of smoke. Due to the covid surge, we're back to meeting outside only.

I have done lots and lots of research on having fish and such. bad thing is around our local area they are the only ones that sell fish so we are gonna stick with the 2 we have left and see what happens. Yeah i am glad that she found a way to cope. Wow i am sorry. At least you had some fun even tho you had to drive so much. That is good you where able to get the clear air!

All you can do then is hope for the best. We were outside because no one felt safe being indoors for a few hours in a group with no masks even though we are all vaccinated. I really did enjoy the fresh air though and the cooler temps of that region. I can't wait for the rainy season to start.

The fire smoke that damaged my airways permanently a few years ago was in late Nov. It is nice to be able to meetup in person once again. During the shut downs we met via Zoom.

If you manage to talk to your friends once or twice a month, that's doing pretty good. With my closest friend, we email daily, talk often and visit all day maybe every 2 to 3 weeks depending on what else is going on. With my meetup group, we meet every 6 weeks or so; we're spread out over 100 miles. We do email discussions too.

Well just one friend daily. But yes, we are very close. Right now we're planning a road trip come spring to the SW area, including the Grand Canyon. It's been a while since we've vacationed together and years since either of us has been able to have one at all so we're both really looking forward to it. We even figured out how to keep it very safe, even if a new variant comes along to evade vaccines.
