Rҽιƙƙα Cҽɾυʅҽαɳ : Team CHAE Dress, ShoesReikka's smile grew even more apparent as she observed how they too took their seats at the anointed table. She quickly picked-up that Asger was going out of his way to being nice and polite to them, so she listened to what he had to say and nodded at the appropriate times, "Why, thank you." She replied to his compliment. Then he mentioned a dance contest. Her eyes perked up at this, glad they hinted that were keen to do something while they were here. She waited until both Asger and Auburn were finished speaking, then smiled in reply, saying, "I'd be glad to dance for you guys." She looked around her, finally nomming the appetizer on the toothpick. She then swallowed and cleared her throat, "Though I have no idea if you guys can dance well enough for the contest or not." A slightly nervous smile crossed her face for a second, then went back to its thoughtful disclosure. She didn't like to lose, especially as something as furtive and competitive as a dance contest between the teams. But, if that's what they wanted to do, then Rei was ready to dance her heart out for the hell of it. She began thinking how it would probably go and spaced out a bit whilst mulling about their odds, but then looked surprised at the huge pile of food Auburn brought with her to the table. Looks like she was gonna have competition with the eating. Rei barely even scratched the appetizers. She was waiting till she was hungry enough to eat her fill. But with a serious and polite look on her face, she closed her eyes and got up from her chair. When she opened them she was already half-way to the buffet table. She wasn't completely hungry nor full just yet, so decided it wouldn't be so bad to start with the more heavier foods being served. She didn't want to elicit a food eating competition with Auburn, but she wasn't about to be beaten on the spot for eating just yet.
When she returned she had with her a plate that was equally as stacked with food as Auburn, but she wasn't sure if she could finish it. She would at least try and see how much of it she would eat. She kept telling herself it was okay not to be able to finish the whole damn thing, but she felt determined to eat her way through the whole damn night. But she did so slowly and surely. After all, they had a dance competition to win, and dancing with a full stomach wasn't a good idea. Not if she wanted to be vomiting the contents of her stomach out so lavishly. No, she would eat only what she wanted and at her own pace, and made sure she was aware of her calorie intake as she ate it all down. She started with the seafood. She ate slowly and deliberately, putting the shrimp puffs into her mouth with care. After doing so she went to nibble at her steak, taking bits of it and eating it with much relish. She knew the key to eating big meals was to taste it well so that the flavor still becomes relevant despite the hundredth time she had to eat something in large amounts. She looked at the interaction between Maru and Asger, realizing Maru meant to ask Asger to dance. It would be nice to watch the two have fun. She didn't mind. If they did get around to it, she would watch them as they danced, eating in mutual silence with Auburn. She won't say why she had so much food with her to her surly teammate; she would simply say that she was pretty hungry. Rei, on the other hand, was already having as much fun as she could by eating a gross amount of food. She watched in sheer content as people began taking to the dance floor to engage in the art of actual dancing, spinning, and gliding in unison while the sound of idle chatter and music floated high into the night. She knew this nightly ball was going to be long and arduous but was glad her teammates were with her and have relaxed well enough to consider staying. Posts : 10 Hidden

Narx had to think about it for a while. "Oh, umm..." It was kind of ironic that he forgot what his pills were for. He took them so often they had just become a simple part of his life."My doctor says they will help me eventually regain my memory and heal from amnesia. Experimental drug, but proven safe. Honestly, I don't know if they are helping, but they also have some vitamins in them that he said I needed so I figure it can't be harmful." He grabbed her hands and stood up. It was definitely time to go in. He couldn't believe she wasn't cold, but she did have those lovely feathers. He led the way inside if she would follow."Oh look! There is Tess! I knew she would make it! I also see Richard over there!" He was done leading the way though and would let his date decide what to do next as he was kind of a spitfire all night. "If you want to do anything let me know!" Narx said cheerfully befoe he downed his drink and tossed it in a high arc over into the trash can. Except it missed plopped off the rim. He had to go awkwardly pick it up and throw it in. "It's weird how that always works when alone, and the second I am in front of someone I always miss." He shrugged and then followed his feathered friend where she wanted to go. "I hope Tess doesn't run into Cecil or Adam. I don't know what would happen." The Night was coming to an end quicker than he wanted, but there was still plenty of time for some fun.

XXX.. Wait, what? Why were they feuding over her? Surely she was no one to try and play tug-o-war with. She was a simple mistake of a girl that crumbled everything she touched, why were the two going back and forth on shaming one another for Eli's clinginess to her?! Why did Nox want to interact with her so badly? Why was it her and not Eli, surely he was more interesting and entertaining than he was? ... Actually, perhaps it was better for Cali's own peace of mind that Nox wasn't trying to snatch Eli away from her. A humorous jab was poked towards Eli about how he might surely wilt and wither away without her presence when it was entirely the opposite. Stepping away from Eli for even a moment, especially in public, seemed like a most impossible feat. Whenever they were apart, it felt like a piece larger than her own self-was missing from her life, the feeling of being incomplete. Perhaps the two were far too clingy with one another, greedy for each other's attention and... Well, would it be too far to say they were obsessed with each other to a certain extent? Was it really that bad though, when they had spent more than half their lives together? ... No, it was more than that. The day she met her spider boy, when their threads weaved together in the web of destiny, was surely the first day of her life. Anything before that didn't matter, at least in her life. It wasn't until the day he took her hand, enduring her pestilence and slipped the first glove on her fingers that she truly breathed. Surely, too long away from him would snatch that same breath from her very lungs. "What.. would we do? What would he do..?" She still didn't quite understand why Eli couldn't come, despite clearly not being a girl. What was so different about girl's nights out? A step so far out of her comfort zone, without her tower of support to cling onto at a moment's notice. Not to mention, she surely didn't want to leave him alone! Such a concept was so foreign to them. Sure, they often did things on their own, hobbies and interest that the other didn't quite adopt, but they were still within each other's presence. .. It was such an odd concept.
It was a thought that had never crossed her mind before, going to take a hot spring and take a most wonderful bath that warmed the body and soul at its core. How Nox described it made it sound simply divine, but Cali couldn't so easily discard her wariness for her condition. .. What exactly did they do at hot springs, anyway? Was it that iconic image of being wrapped in a towel in a room full of steam came to mind, something she just couldn't do because the towel would crumble to nothing around her. ... Though, there was a new plus side with the recent discovery of her suit's features. Accidental nudity like at the beach was no longer a risk to run, thanks to the zero suit provided by the academy. While she wouldn't be able to hide in Eli's arms as she always preferred, indecent exposure was no longer an issue. Curious brown orbs focused on Eli who sparked the idea of a field trip, that in turn caused a stir of excitement in their captain. Eyes sparkling like the most precious of gemstones, before her cheeks flushed with a faint red hue as she regained her composure. " That sounds really nice.. E..even if its just some time away.." Though normally getting time away was meant for just her and Eli to distance themselves from a world that filled her with anxiety, perhaps it would be okay to travel away.. As a team, to get away from the 'exciting' academy walls. Signature wary eyes that always accompanied such an uncertain voice would glance back and forth between the two, before catching Eli's wink he hurled her way. Was it something she said? Was it how she was acting? Either or, the acknowledgment would cause her dull rosy cheeks to deepen once again as she tucked herself against him firmly with his squeeze. Whether intentional or not, he always had some manner to reel him in by his side. It wasn't a bad thing by any means, more so a reassurance that she was hanging in there, getting by step by step.
An expression once again tainted with deepened rosy hues would turn towards Nox, sandy orbs focusing on her as ears listened in attentive silence for her recommendations. Of the two positions, it seemed that for either role, the butterfly position was the best option for the two. While the closed position could prevent her from turning her dress to dust, there was still more so a risk for skin contact ... Something that even if preventable, Cali didn't dare tread against. "I-I think the butterfly may be best, leading or not... Though I need to change my gloves.." Uneasy words sounded so softly from her naturally quiet tone, but her eyes would look towards her gloves. They were on their last legs, small holes starting to expose her skin to the world that didn't want to see them. Dancing was certainly an impossibility at this moment because the time to change was near. An announcement that Eli had voiced moments later, a fact that was relevant to the both of them. The entire night so far, she had clung to his side as if she'd crumble to nothing without him. Ironically enough, doing so began to crumble his own layers of fabric that were meant to shield him from her semblance. Not only was it growing time for her to change, as small patches of blue would poke through the white fabric, but the material of his own suit took a most savage beating.
Time was ticking but continued to slip from their grasp time and time again as they got lost in conversation with their leader. The concept of time had always been an important one for the duo because nearly every aspect of their lives boiled down to such numbers. Everything had a set time limit that it could be exposed to Cali before it simply ceased to exist. As unfortunate as such an existence was, it was what they learned to deal with on the daily. That despite how playful, teasing or anxious they could be, time management was their top priority. The only exception was in privacy, often when Cali had lulled herself to sleep. It was then that time no longer mattered, and they could enjoy each other's presence. Showing that even if she wasn't conscious, his presence comforted her like any other. Without him by her side, she would never sleep so soundly. Where time management became a natural skill, so did Eli develop the ability to perform countless tasks with limited function. More often than not, a hand or arm was occupied by her small frame. Meanwhile, Cali struggled so much to even use both of her hands for such simple tasks. At the very least, she was able to offer a snack for him with a small yet adorable smile. Though, sandy hues would widen as he came so close, nose to nose... It was a common occurrence between the two, a personal bubble never existing between one another. However, with their new team present, it was something that hadn't happened nearly as much... They didn't want their teammates to feel too uncomfortable with their perpetual state of flirtiness. Being so close, Cali's cheeks flushed a deep crimson instantly, her mind traveling back to the last real moment their faces had been so close to one another; that day in class. Sandy hues would lock with his own electric, rosy cheeks darkening by countless shades as she thought back to their kiss. A most defining moment in their lives and relationship as a whole. A sensation that was burned against her lips, a part of her aching for another. Something that could never come so easily. Then he snatched the treat from her fingers as the tension shattered, sandy orbs breaking away as she quickly tossed the second into her own mouth and chewed. A distraction, something to calm her... Though, a flustered gaze would travel up towards Eli's once again, gulping silently as she focused on the events around her. ... Anything to distract her mind, anything that could calm such a flustered expression.
Cali's expression grew ever more curious as Eli's electric hues focused on the boy with horns, their gazes connecting from afar. Had the two really gotten to know each other so well? The brown haired girl found herself in a spot of surprise when he mentioned his name, which caused even more curiosity to muster in her tiny body. "You.. Got to meet him? Is he doing okay? I... Didn't realise how hard I kicked him..." It was a thought that still haunted her, even multiple weeks after the event had unfolded. Cali had gotten so angry and protective, wanting to keep Eli from harms way as well as punish the boy who hurt him in the first place. An idea that seemed flawless in the moment, but was a whirlwind of emotions that led her to kick him until he was unconscious. It was only later that she found out how much damage she could've done if it happened to be anyone else... The first kick would've cracked the skull, the second surely to shatter, and the third was simply overkill. If it had been anyone else in his place, it woud've been a disaster... A thought that had been eating at her since they returned from the infirmary, but a sense of relief finally began to ease in seeing him walk among the living... Knowing he was okay from both seeing him, and Eli's own perspective. However, watching him take a tumble from a small white haired girl rosed an even deeper curiosity with Eli's own remark. "Good for him? .. What do you mean?" Cali was still a bit unknowing to the whole matter, not knowing what happened over these two weeks between Eli and Felix, nor the condition that Felix suffered from. At least, the furthest extents of it.
It seemed that it wasn't only a suspicion of something being off, but the girl seemed to look rather down in the dumps. Cali, of course, wasn't the first to confront her on it. Nox had been the frontrunner for such a task, which was far from surprising. Though, listening to such a somber British accent caused Cali's blood to run cold, her sandy hues softening towards the rabbit faunus. Those were the words of the hurt, the bullied. Someone who's been mocked or turned away for who they were, a true act of cruelty that Cali had understood far too well from years of neglect herself. Sandy orbs would glance up and down the girl's body, tracing her size and outline in rhythm to her words. There was always a bit of truth in such awful words, or else they wouldn't cut so deep. "Eli.. I have an idea.." Soft words would whisper into the man's ear, standing on her tiptoes to communicate her words in near silence. She didn't dare say any more, as her eyes darted towards the rabbit ears the girl adorned on her head. Did they amplify her hearing? Surely it wasn't a risk that the girl could take. Instead, she'd have to act on her own, without relying on Eli's pillar of support she became so deeply rooted in. Lowering herself once again, the girl would begin to wriggle her small wrap from Eli's ever so comforting embrace. Every squirm and wriggle became looser, though a sense of distress and distant anxiety would brew until she finally slipped from his arm. ... That was it, she was on her own. Such a thing had always been unheard of, especially in such a public space. As if being even mere inches away was a taboo and normally far too much for the girl to handle on her own.
It began to form, a bubble of anxiety swelling deep within her chest, expanding against her ribs. Even in the calmest times when they were alone, Cali spent almost every moment attached at the hip with that boy. To have broken away, to be astray, it was a feeling of anxiety that was surely overwhelming. The first step was the hardest, the girl forgot to breathe. Her sandy orbs widened as her chest tightened, lungs swelling and threatening to burst as her heart beat so desperately out of rhythm. Time had come to a standstill, unable to catch up to the reality of the situation. Was this a mistake? Treading so far into uncharted waters, was it too late to go back? Though ever so slowly in her mind, it was only a split second of hesitance in real time that she managed to take her second step. Sandy orbs catching a glimpse of a teardrop splashing against her boot. No, she couldn't. This wasn't about her, but about her own teammate's distress... A young girl who had her self-image obscured by the harmful words of others, and couldn't find herself enjoying the night as she was meant to. A night like this was one that was meant to be remembered in fondness, not a distasteful memory. As her heel connected with the floor, she found that stolen breathe escaping her lungs before fresh air filled them once more. The bubble began to shrink, her chest loosening as she managed her third step. From there, they came so naturally, so fluidly. Her heels would lightly tap against the floor until she was standing next to the crying Yenna who kept her eyes closed from the world.
Cali stood there in silence for but a moment, a lingering hesitance as her arm shifted back and forth as if reluctant to reach out to her. Though the bubble had shrunk, this moment was surely one of the hardest. The act of reaching out, for fleeing back to her beacon of support. ... Something that Yenna needed right now. With one last deep breath, inhaling sharply through her teeth, her gloved hand would softly rest against Yenna's shoulder as Cali crouched beside her. "Y..Yenna.. Why don't you try these on..? I'll ruin them after too long, anyway..." In a traditional Cali method, her words were soft and hesitant, but they were words nonetheless. This may have been the first time that Cali herself confronted Yenna in direct confrontation. Instead, she normally hid away behind Eli's frame against her normal loud and old-timey accident. Perhaps it was the calmer words that welcomed her, or a strange surge of confidence that coursed through her, though ready to fall to the breeze like the autumn leaves. Carefully, she would slip her pale feet from her heels before setting them in front of Yenna and offering her a timid smile. ".. I.. don't think our sizes are too far off.. you know..? I usually wear heels to try and get a few inches on Eli ... He's just a tower, though.. But.. I think we'd be about the same height. I-If you want them, I mean.." There was always a sense of justification in her tone, a desire to please when talking to someone she wasn't quite use to. She wanted to help and was more than willing to offer her heels up to the girl if she was willing to accept them. After all, if she wore them too much longer they'd crumble between her toes. Surely this was a better use for them than to waste them on herself when she so often used to going barefoot.
Her words run off in silence, her concerned brown hues remaining focused on the rabbit girl that cried next to them. For a brief moment, her eyes darted up towards Nox then back to Eli. A thought came to mind that caused her cheeks to darken to a rosy hue once more as she turned her attention back to Yenna, leaning in to whisper something into her ear. "Y-you know.. I'm... not, er.. well-endowed either... I've.. tried padding and stuffing, but.. It just crumbles... B-but! Um.. Well..." Each word held more and more regret, her cheeks flushing with a bright crimson that acted as a shining beacon for the embarrassing things she was sharing with Yenna. Why did she think it was a good idea to try? Talking about these body issues, these complaints of self-image that she couldn't even improvise a solution because her semblance ate it alive... Perhaps it was a sense of relatability, for being ever so tiny herself. Issues that she didn't often talk about in front of Eli, issues with her personal appearance and everything that displeased her about it. Normally it was all about her semblance, all about crumbling clothes, but never her gifted proportions. A flaw she saw in herself that may not have measured how Yenna saw herself but was certainly an aspect she could relate to. Clearly her throat and choking on her embarrassment, she pulled her lips from the whisper that she tried to share. "Well... E-Eli.. He was really sweet, and.. picked out a bunch of dresses... There's no way I could use them all, not by the end of tonight... and.. I.. I.. think I saw one you might like.. Its padded, a bit curvey.. It wouldn't be too big, and.. It matches your eyes.." Timid words tried to muster the confidence to get her point across, but it seemed much like a fruitless endeavor. That being said, Cali still managed to voice her point and offer up a dress that she truly thought would fit Yenna's aesthetic. Despite her timid words, a less than timid smile would cross her lips. Though small, it was soft and sincere. "They'd look good with the heels, too.." While it may not have been quite a heart to heart, being so timid and awkward, it was Cali trying to reach out... Trying to help. To be a teammate, and maybe... Be a friend? Or at least, a firm acquaintance? She really wanted to help her teammate and was most certainly one of the biggest leaps she's taken in her own development. Actually reaching out, trying to talk and help someone she was so timid around.
Cali's sandy hues widened softly as she felt the fabric of her strap begin to shift and fall, causing her to quickly snap her hand up to catch the almost falling pieces of her dress. A sense of panic began to take over, uneasy eyes darting over towards Eli. "E-Eli.. I.. I really need to change, now... How far away is our room? " Small patches of skin were exposed to light, as well as patches of deep blue from her zero suit. She still had minutes at her disposal, but, they were calling it close... Standing up, she'd look back towards Yenna with rosy cheeks. "So.. What do you say? .. Bring the heels and.. I can help with the dress.. But, we have to go..." While she was sincere in what she wanted to do, a sense of uneasiness was beginning to unravel as she felt her dress beginning to crumble around her. While she could feel the panic brewing inside her, a piece of her couldn't help but worry for Yenna. To think that worrying for a teammate would ground her from running in a blind panic away. Though, it probably helped to know that she had the zero suit beneath to keep her from getting too exposed.

The team seemed in higher spirits now, well maybe not exactly as high as it made them sound but Maru was happy regardless. Reikka piped up with a suggestion that might have sounded what he had tried to do in hindsight. Dancing was something he had almost invited Asger to do but very slowly had felt his courage leak right out of him. He could only sigh and just sip more of his soda as Reika went to do and get some more food for his plate. Meanwhile, the black sheep of the group would sit with his thoughts plagued with doubt. It was embarrassing not to be able to go and ask Asger to dance. His lipstick clad, plump lips were shaped into a frown as several glances were taken in the male's direction. The fear in his chest was large but eventually he couldn't take the pressure anymore. The feeling of not being able to breathe, the anxiety in his steps. Komaru would chug the rest of his soda and march straight up to Asger, though as respectful as possible. His cheeks was a faint blush on them but he tried his best to fake a look of sincerity.
"Asger." Komaru said to seek the boy's attention. He held his dainty gloved hand up to him, moving some stray pink hair from his face. It took some mental kicking but eventually the words slipped from underneath the anxious boy's lips. "A-Ai wished to know if you wented to dance...wiv me?"

𝓡𝓲𝓭𝓵𝓮𝔂 ☪ 𝓓𝓮𝓵𝓶𝓱𝓸𝓻𝓼𝓽
She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

It was a topic the they would have to get into on a later date. Not just the workings if her own past, but his as well. She knew Adam was probably curious about a lot things, the scars, the weird behaviors, her refusal to speak of her family, but he never pressed her. He always waited for her to willing rely on him, to let him share the burden, even if just for a moment. It was something she appreciated more than she could say, but there was more too it. Ridley wasn't good at relying on others. She had spent so long doing everything on her own, unable to rely on the people she should have for some reason or another. It became a habit, beaten into her with deep seated trust issues. It was easier with Adam, and she was unsure if it was do to the presence he brought, or the strange feelings that often rose when she was in his presence. Maybe it was just because he had already confided in her, back in the mines when he was helping her with her injury. He'd shared a bit of his past, and she k ee it wasn't all as happy and care-free as he often seemed. It was something she hoped to learn mire about one day as well, but on his own time. She wouldnt pry, especially whe. He showed her that same respect. Besides, now certainly wasn't the time. Not only did she nit want to ruin the night with it, but it wasn't really a conversation she wanted to have right here in front of Cecil and Azura either. Shaking her head lightly to clear it, she pushed the thoughts away for now, focussing instead on the joking going on between her team.
Looking far too pleased when Azura took her side in teasing Adam, she reached over the table raising her hand up to the girl. She was looking to get a high five, a wide grin on her face. After the high five was said and done, Ridly would collapsed back into her seat. Returning her golden orbs from Adam. "I see how it is. I thought we were friends, but clearly your hate for pineapple is stronger than that." She would feign an offended expression a d tone, but the mischievous gleam in her eyes was a give away. She was just giving him a hard time, as usual. She meant well of course, but it was just too fun to resist, no matter how long she dragged it on. Of course, Adam would have his revenge at some point, so she figured she better stay ahead while she could. Having Azura on her side made it all the better, especially when he went on to explain he was duress she had dome elaborate scheme cooked up. Smirking at him she gave a soft shrug. "Who knows? Maybe I do, maybe I don't." It wasn't unlike her to scheme and plot. It wasn't unlike either of them. Hence their ever going prank war. Sure, they both got pretty creative at times, but she wasn't sure she would go to such lengths as to make him face. Pineapple. At least not in this case. Maybe just sneak a piece of this dreaded fruit if bis onto his lunch tray or something and see how long it took hin to notice. Laughing softly to herself, only confirming any suspicions he had in the process, she sent a playful little wink his way. "Besides, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? I'm just going my best to be a good captain. Making you face your fears and whatnot." The girl was truly relentless. A stubborn pride that showed through all aspects of her personality. In times like this it proved to be rather amusing. However, it ignited that determination that caused her to work so hard in her feat ti become a huntress. In other situations, it got her into trouble. It was a double edged knife.
The boy was really on roll with the puns and she couldn't help the small laugh that escaped her lips. However, quick and witty as usual, she was quick to play right back. The real question was how long it was going to take for their other two teammates to get annoyed with their shenanigans. "Oh my gourd Adam! Aren't you just a punking!" Smirking over st him she let out another soft laugh, looking rather satisfied with her creation. However, she wasn't quite done yet, but her next rounds were aimed towards the quieter members if Team DARK. It all started with that signature smirk and the playful gleam of her golden orbs. "Oh. Come on Cecil! Don't leaf him hanging. Besides, I'm sure Azura would love to watch you up on stage." She teased, wriggling her brows at the two. She had gone easy on them both with the teasing si far. After all, she didn't want ti embarrass Azura too much and Adam's compliments had been enough to turn her cheeks crimson. Still, she couldn't resist the urge the entire night. She had ti have a little fun and this seemed a good place to start and she wasn't finished just yet. "Or, maybe that's too corny... perhaps we should squash that idea before it even starts." Letting out another soft laugh she leaned back in her seat and watched Adsm's dramatic antics as he expressed his love for caramel and this newly formed bond with Cecil. "Welp, I've been replaced. I see where your loyalties lie."
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ She walked with the universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings.

I know nothing because I know too much... ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

It wasn't really surprising to learn that Auburb had no intention of meeting his family. She had mentioned many if these things to him in their first meeting. She was not a very friendly individual but Asger didn't mind. He also didn't seem offending by the bluntness of her statement. Ye had offered simply to be polite, not because he actually wanted her to join. Really he was neutral to the entire situation, whether it go one way or another. However, his parents had always taught him to be kind to others. It was something that in his younger years gebiften failed at, not intentionally of course, but there were times that the intelligent bird came off as condescending or uncaring. He had hurt peoples feelings in the past and it still slipped out from time to time. He honestly doubted that he could really hurt the redhead's feelings. After all, she didn't seem to care enough to let menial things like that effect her. She was thick skinned and the falcon considered that a cmgood thing. Still, he always strived for politeness and the like. It helped to mask the side of him that was often awkward in social situations, so that was something at least. In truths he didn't want to be here anymore than the faunus did, but attendance was mandatory. There was also the fact that he would have heard a mouthful fro. His parents if he had chosen not to tend. He was hear, so he might as well try to enjoy himself. Even of he would rather be somewhere quiet, reading, he didn't want to be a bummer for his team. However, he wasn't really sure how well he was exceeding. Auburn seemed annoyed and Maru's lips were pulled into a frown. Reika seemed to be enjoying herself at least. She was more un her comfort zone than the rest of their team.
Glancing around the room, his sapphire eyes would spot Tessa making an untimely entrance. He really hadn't talked to the girl much. After all, the events in class had taken a rather drastic turn and the rhino faunushad never showed up st the infirmary to visit her team member. He remembered Danae mentioning something about a family emergency drawing her home. She seemed to have returned at least, but her tone and expression seemed worried. He might have waved, but his thoughts lingered too long and the moment passed. It was likely for the best, he wasn't sure if the girl would even recognize him. He supposed he would find out whe. He finally did catch up with his sister, whenever that be. He didn't want ro abandon his team. Not when he had left then hanging already so many times in the past couple of weeks. He had promised himself he would dedicate the night to getting to know his team better, but he had promised his parents a picture if them so he would have to find her at some point. Even if it was just for a moment.
Asger's attention was drawn once more by a steady voice calling his name. He was surprised to see Mary so close with such a look of determination on his face. His question surprised him even further. Blinking in surprise, he could feel his face warming up with out his consent. Cheeks gufning a shade much akin to his face, fir reasons he couldn't quite explain, he turned his head and coughed awkwardly into the crook of his elbow. He remained this way for some time, giving his face time to cool and return to igs normally ivory color. The coughing fit was followed by hin running his hand through his mess if red locks, deep blue orbs doing their best to lock onto Maru's. "Well... I-I don't see why not..." It was not really not the best way for him to respond, but it wasn't out if rudeness or any sort of offense. Asger often struggled to detirmine the best way to respond to social interactions and he often failed. This time he had been taken off his guard and that didn't help his odds way all. He seemed to realize his error but a moment too late. An odd expression crossed his face for a moment and one could almost see the gears turning as he chastised himself. "I mean... that sounds great, Maru." He added awkwardly after a moment, hoping he hadn't already hurt his feelings.

-- Koryn watched the young girl with such wonder and excitement in her face, she was so new to this world and was loving every second of it. As the girl also suggested that Koryn was cute, complimenting her wings she looked back at them slightly and fluttered them as they caught a rainbow of colours in them. "Why thank you! Although I do have a question.." she said, pondering a little bit in her head, "How do you fly? Where are your wings?" she said, her head tilting to her like a dogs would, total curiosity in her eyes now. "What's an ugly duckling? I'll need to ask her later what this means, maybe I do want to be one?!" thoughts raced through her mind, just not very mature ones.
Listening to the girls explanation about what a four year old would appear to look like Koryn nodded, "Ahhhhh" she said, showing that she slightly understood what she meant. She looked down at the height she suggested they would be, and appeared a little surprised, "They can be that height? that's so teeny tiny!" she said, followed by a high pitched, yet melodic laugh.
"Eira, the name is just as cute as you!" she said, making a playful pose as she put both arms up into the air, her wings fluttering a little quicker as she became excited. "Yes, I'm Koryn!" she said, "I'm from the Rhopalocera tribe, don't get me mixed up with those pesky moths, blerghh!" she said, making a disgusted noise as she thought about the moth tribe that she would fight with growing up. Koryn would say things without thinking, it was just the way that she was brought up to be, she looked at Eira again, taking her in a little bit as she just thought she was so cute. It was then mentioned that they were going to be in a team together, which Koryn got excited about, even though she had no clue what it meant.
"Ah yes, It was mentioned I would have a team here!....." she said, trailing off at the end a little as she once again thought about something. "What does that mean?" she asked, a little unsure of what it meant to be in a team.

"Would you like some candy Noah?" "Remember that gives me a sore stomach Nova... " "BOOOOOOORING!!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - - Nova Primrose & Noah - - Nova crossed her arms, giving Ivory a dramatic frown. "Hey you! Turn that frown upside down! Feralis is our teammate, maybe one day our tribes will be as one!" she said, chuckling as she playfully punched Ivory on the shoulder, showing she was playing. Nova looked around very briefly, Feralis was definitely here, she could smell him even closer now, which gave her butterflies in her stomach. Noah sat beside the group, listening to what they had to say. He walked over beside Jessica and smiled up at her, almost asking for pats. Nova rolled her eyes, "Jessica might not want to get her dress covered in hair you pest!" she said, to which he growled at her, he hated being called names like that. They always made fun of each other, and didn't take things too seriously.
Nova took Ivory by the hand and then took Jessica by the hand too, "Don't be so stupid! We are a team! You are coming with us to dance too!!" she said, laughing as she attempted to once again drag them by their hands, surprising strength for such a petite faunus girl. Noah watched in surprise, wondering how they would both react to this.

NAME >>> Jazz Myers LOCATION >>> Ḅeacộn Âcademy - Annual Fall Ball Room COMPANY >>> Team JOLD (minus Felix and Molly), Lunia and Charlotte EMOTION >>> Attraction, embarassment and empathy MISSION >>> None OUTFIT >>> Suit and CaneSEMBLANCE >>> 4 /4 - No current remnants - - - - - -Ora was open enough to tell Jazz who she was scrolling. Henryk… No, don’t think I know that name. Giving her a smile It’s nice that you’re looking out for your brother. I think it’s a great idea for him to have a friend who is positively minded. As Ora looked back to her scroll Felix added that this friend was once in the circus. Well that’s.. Nice. Jazz had nothing against circus people, he just wasn’t sure what to make of people who choose it as a profession. I’m sure he’ll answer soon enough, if not we’ll bump into him at some point. People who are unable to organise themselves was a trait Jazz didn’t enjoy, but the day already started negative, no need to feel that way anymore. Turning back to Felix, Jazz flashed a smile. Let’s hope for the best then shall we.Due to Jazz’ initial nervousness, he hadn’t noticed Felix wandering off, going so far as to introduce him without him even being there. Lunia’s compliment had managed to calm him enough to notice more around him than just her beauty. Why thank you, but I hardly compare when next to you. Even Charlotte gave him a compliment, well from what he knew of her it seemed like she was trying to give a compliment. I would hope I don’t look like a waiter. Who are you trying to swap? He flashed Charlotte a smile curious as to what he must’ve missed. Jazz was surprised by Ora’s fear, or was it nervousness? When Jazz first met her, he got the feeling she was very outgoing, having her hide behind him was definitely a first. Is she scared? Nervous? Does she get shy around other girls? Has she met these two before? The beach perhaps? When Lunia asked if they were waiting for anyone, Jazz decided now was as good a time as any to try and push him and Charlotte together. He assumed Charlotte was the friend Lunia was talking about, with Charlotte being held tight to her. Well, as a matter of fact, my friend Felix was… right… here? As he was gesturing to where he had thought Felix was there was just an empty space. Great, yet another team member gone. Jazz was ever so slightly worried as to where Felix had wandered off to, while looking around he spotted Lena walking over and gave her a wave to help her find the group. After introductions were done Jazz turned to her. Hey Lena, have you seen Felix? Before he could get his answer Charlotte chimed in with a comment on her dress, almost causing Jazz to cough up his drink. Continuing to look around Jazz finally spotted Felix… moments before his head collided with another girl’s. You have got to be kidding me, the one place we didn’t cover… Another guy came over and helped the girl back up after she had fallen on Felix. Turning back to the group Jazz gave an awkward smile, squeezing the bridge of his nose he gestured over to Felix. That over there is the last member of our team… Felix. He felt a little embarrassed for Felix. Headbutting someone’s date… Yet another memory of a couple. His embarrassment quickly melted away to empathy for Felix. Ora, could you go over and help Felix? You always kept your eyes on the predator, because the moment that you took your eyes off of them, and tried to run from them. That's when the got your haunches and would eat you. She watched the exchange, while eating more rolls. She was grazing at this point...wait..why didn't she bring a purse! These rolls were amazing.
The one with Blue hair said that they were all right, but the feeling in her gut told her to run. She still couldn't place the face. It was starting to bother her. She was so familiar though. She would take another bite of her roll. Then Jazz would look around. Ora was keeping her eyes peeled on the predator the entire time. Then he mentioned getting Felix. Felix? Felix was behind them right...wait, it had been quiet...She would finally take her eyes off of Charlotte. Only to find that Felix was on the ground.
"Felix!"" Her voice would crack, a bit from the fear of being in the presence of a predator, and more fear for Felix getting another memory. Her back would erupt in black aura as she ran towards her brother. She would look at the white haired woman, and the brown haired male, bringing her own Platium blonde hair to Felix. "Are you ok Felix?" She would put her right hand out for him to grab. "You didn't touch anyone right?" Her voice showed her fear more than her face. That and the Aura radiating from her back.

XXXWhat was this chika doing anyways? No one dare stood in the path of Rachel on her pursuit, students and couples alike evading the woman like the plague, knowing all too well what could happen if they dared to cross the predator's path. At one point, she may have every well banged Ren against one of the tables she was passing, as she felt herself jerk back for a moment before pressing forward. Interestingly enough, she wasn't even pursuing the student as a teacher of Beacon, just a woman who was irritated with what someone else had done. Rachel was loud and unabashed, that was her existence through and through. Something that a young tiger faunus didn't seem to quite grasp, or at the very least accept. Cyan eyes would narrow as the tiger faunus appeared to beeline for the doorway that they had all entered from. Unacceptable. Words were spat in agitation to try and stop the girl from escaping the ball, though Rachel didn't bother to think about what would've happened if she finally stopped. Rachel, once taking strides with her long legs to catch up with the evasive feline, would stop dead her tracks a few feet away from the faunus that stopped and turned. Eyes like daggers would glare towards Tsuki's, a piercing blue gaze attempting to intimidate and pierce her soul.
Though it seemed that the girl ha something else on her mind than so rudely startling Rachel, then storming off in a huff that Rachel mistook for her trying to get away. Vivid blue hues would lock in a staredown, the bright colors trying to overwhelm one another. There was a long pause from Tsuki's statement, a silence that for once Rachel didn't just erupt into. Instead, her brow furrowed in irritation as the past came to haunt her. Within a mind that was merely fragments, a memory would spark of the single person that inspired her in life. 'Why are you like this?! I know you've got issues, but you have to get your s**t together! When we're doing a job, you need to focus on the plan! When we're talking, you need to focus on me! When will you get it through that thick skull of .... There! You did it again! ... Alright, no. F**ck it. I need a drink, just... Go home. Or don't. I don't care anymore." No. She wasn't having any of that, not again. A low growl began to rumble in her throat as her cyan eyes narrowed at Tsuki who continued on in her whining about Rachel's attention. Maybe it wasn't whining, but that's exactly what Rachel saw it as, whining, useless emotion, weakness. It wasn't anything that Rachel was willing to put up with, and surely wasn't something she was about to sympathise with. "You're right, I don't get it. I don't have a f**kin' clue, and I really don't give two shits." Rachel's tone followed with a scowl, her large and intimidating presence not faltering for a moment.
Her chest was huffed, her body towering over the tiger faunus to assert a presence of dominance that Rachel often radiated. There was something different though, and that was the gaze of someone who just wasn't going to take any s**t. For once, Tsuki would see a side of Rachel that wasn't just some carefree antics, but instead a serious side from the broken minded. "Obnoxious? ... Damn, that's a big word. Still, been called that a million times. Hurtful? Honestly, that's your own problem, kid." And that was just the brunt of it all. The girl wanted her to focus? Was feeling hurt because Rachel wasn't giving her undivided attention? Rachel couldn't see where this was coming from, either. Up until that moment, Tsuki seemed pretty gung-ho with all of Rachel's antics, the two were bouncing off each other in a perfect ricochet. Then what, this stupid rabbit comes along and it all changes at the drop of a rabbit? Speaking of which, Rachel promptly dropped the rabbit boy on the ground. She was irritated, and when her emotions got unstable she would either eat things or break things. ... Something she couldn't do to a student. "Gotta say, didn't expect this comin' from ya. But I guess you ain't no team MAKO. I knew you reminded me of the Hood, I shoulda seen it. Everythin' being fine and dandy, but then make somethin' outta nothin' and storm off in a huff." It seemed that the little group of students she personally trained were the only ones that understood. Not taking any s**t, just going with it all. Anything below that was weakness, and just something she didn't have time for. "If you wanna let your feelin's get hurt, then go on. Don't gotta worry about me stopping you. I ain't got time for that, and I sure as hell ain't drunk enough to deal with it." These definitely weren't the words of a teacher, but the closest thing Rachel could muster of a heart to heart, and she didn't treat these situations well. She'd only hold that serious expression for a moment longer, making her point that if Tsuki was going to whine about something, to beat it. She thought things could be fine and dandy, that they'd have a good time. In reality, she was just like the them, only they realised it much faster this time around. Her piercing blue gaze would break as she looked down at the rabbit once again, nudging with her foot as she sighed. "Dumb rabbit not even giving me a buzz.. Worthless." In reality, the bunny was doing his job, she just had a very high alcohol tolerance. That dull warm feeling wasn't enough to get the job done.
