 Cherry Woods
Did she hear the headmaster right? She stops in her tracks and turns around, another mission just after this mess? well, it wasn't that strange, was it? and she was in charge? Should she be excited about that? Just then Amélie comes over to her and says the same thing, guess they both heard it. "Umm I need bullets I went a little crazy at shooting at the end." Was all she could think to say. So Charlotte, Aaron, Amélie and herself will be a team and do something else stupid and crazy. was everyone even still here

The girl would speak, but not before her eyes would briefly focus on him and then quickly dart away while he spoke. Garret was unsure why she had such a reaction, given his own nature to try and look people in the eyes when speaking, but he did not say anything of it. Not everyone was like him or believed as he did. She would greet him in turn, though seemed uncertain on how to do so in words and merely shrugged her shoulders. Keeping her left hand hidden was also odd, but Garret would not pursue that line if she chose to keep it hidden. Garret would smile in return, but before he could attempt to continue the conversation her attention seemed to be taken by autrox. Though Garret was not paying particular attention to Autrox's interaction with the blue haired child, he did pay attention once he began motioning to everyone. He was saying how they were all alive due to her services on the battlefield. Which Garret could neither confirm nor deny it, having arrived on the scene once most of the fighting had ended. Still, as much as it was inspiring and encouraging words...with the state the girl was currently in he was unsure how effective she had been in combat. But he had not been present, so he would not condemn her to doubt. If Autrox believed she had saved everyone else, he would go with that, even if it felt like embellishment. 'And I would not have needed saving regardless, but that is besides the point.' He silently though to himself. Then Autrox would go on to try and make a distinction between murder and killing. His distinction was not particularly...distinct. His view of it meant that if you were the aggressor, you lost the right to live. "So all those who willingly engage in battle forfeit the right to live." Garret very quietly said, not particularly loud whatsoever. Killing was killing, regardless of intent, or so he thought in his mind. He wasn't even opposed to the thought of a duel to the death with others, so long as there was honor on his end in the fight. He heard the girl he was speaking to speak up as well, voicing that they had all forfeited their lives from his reasoning. Though he himself refrained from adding on, he was surprised to find someone else agreed with him in that regard, feeling a slight respect for him. Yet he did not believe his life was forfeit from such a thing; far from it he believed combat only increased his own personal honor. He did not speak up for now however, seeing as Autrox would continue to speak and thinking it best not to contradict his boss in the middle of a speech. Garret also found it interesting as Autrox seemed to say some creatures were unworthy of life, which Garret did agree with, but had not expected him to share that view. Though thinking of it the words may be conflicting to the girls understanding, but that was Autrox's issue to face.
It was then that Autrox would apparently shift gears in what he was addressing, trying to give the students specifically directions on what to do next. He wanted them all to go to the cafeteria for meal and then rest as a communal sleeping area. 'And thankfully, this does not include me. As I shall not be attending this group sleepover.' He vowed silently to himself. He did not desire to be anywhere near such a large crowd of people, all of which he did not know, and be cooped up with nothing to do. Further, despite his suggestion to tend to the wounded in the medical facility that was not his area of expertise nor where his talents were best suited. He thrived in combat, and most things related to it. In his mind, he had so far not been assigned to anything. Which was an important distinction once he heard of Autrox creating a team to go to the outskirts. Though it seemed more of a delivery mission of aid rather than combat, it sounded much more interesting than the alternatives. 'Even if it does involve another group of people, it is far smaller than the other option.' He thought to himself. He did note he assigned one of the people who had been shooting at the bandit he finished off from earlier, so he at least knew this person was semi capable in combat. Which was fine, as he would not have to defer to her as he had not been assigned to the team.
Having still been listening to that group more intently now, due to Autrox's recent addressing of everyone, he did overhear the small blue haired girl mention that someone named Charlotte needed healing. Following her eyes, he found it to be the same girl he had greeted. He had not noticed that she was injured before, potentially due to the variety of distractions all around, though now he noted how she kept one hand in her pocket. Potentially her injury, potentially not. Given her battered weapon and apparent injury, and just now realizing that was one of the names assigned to the mission, Garret wondered how fit she would be for one. She hid it relatively well, to him at least, so she may have some hidden reserve she could still tap into. He knew one of the other members of this mission was the boy who offered his services, and now he heard the taller blue haired girl defer to the one named Cherry and saying she was in charge. If he had to guess she was amelie and the only male was aaron but he wasn't entirely sure. 'So two who appear relatively fine, one who is perfectly fine, and one who may be worse off than she appears.' He silently thought to himself. It'd be nice to prove what he could do to Amelie, as she didn't seemed to regard him as much. Other than that though, he so far had no qualms with the others and didn't have to interact with them if he tagged along. He knew little of any of their abilities, so their effectiveness was yet to be determined in his eyes. He was now debating on whether or not he should go now to join them by asking Autrox or sneak along at a distance and just monitor them that way. It was then that he heard Charlotte, as he was guessing her name to be, needed a weapon from the small blue haired girl as well. Which would not bode well to go into combat with a weapon you were unaccustomed with, but the distance may be long enough that she could familiarize herself with it. Should his spears fail, he would be out of luck.
Autrox seemed to then try and reassure Charlotte by saying she was good as she was not the aggressor in this. Whether this would aid her conscious or not, Garret did not know. To him it did little to change what he believed, as in battle anyone who willingly engages in it is an aggressor. Especially when one prepares for a fight like he had. Autrox would then summon glyphs which would soon after shatter. What the effect they were having on her he was unsure. He did not know what was healthy and normal for her. It was having an effect, and he assumed it was beneficial, but he did not know in what way. The blue haired girl had requested healing, so it was likely to assume that is what he was doing. 'A very extravagant way to heal someone. Fitting.' Garret thought to himself with a slight smile as he thought of his own combat style. It was always invigorating to make it a show of things, when able. Autrox would then address the students, saying that they will be sleeping in the cafeteria and that that the injured would be sleeping in their dorms. Which in Garret's mind made no sense whatsoever. 'Why have all the ones that need monitoring isolated, and all the healthy ones in one are? If someone were to attack again, they'd all be trapped in that one spot and have to fight to try and get an edge. The advantage would clearly go to the attackers.' Garret silently reasoned to himself. It was almost they were being used as bait to try and lure out more enemies, which seemed more plausible than this being just sound reasoning. He would then sprout large white wings and fly off, saying he would be watching as he did. 'At the very least, he knows how to make an exit.' Garret silently added in his mind. And smiled as he realized he had not been assigned to do anything where as the students were. Meaning he had free reign to choose what he would do.
He would idly hear mention of cherry saying she needed bullets because she spent far too many. Which he could attest to with the amount the bandit had taken in their fight from her gun alone. They all, besides Aaron, likely needed a resupply before they were to set up. While thinking of how he would act next now that he was free to choose and Autrox left before he could ask, he heard someone exclaim stop loudly. Turning his gaze, he found to the source to be another girl that was not part of the crowd. Her ocean eyes would briefly meet his golden ones as he would look to her curiously for a moment at the outburst, unsure to what she was referring or why she did so. He saw no one that was around her to be the source, and so with a mental shrug his gaze would turn from her back to the team that had been assigned to the outskirts. He still had two ways to approach this, directly or indirectly. If he did so indirectly, there was a chance they may mistake him for an enemy. But if he tried to do so directly, they may refuse him, though it honestly would not be particularly intelligent to refuse help when offered. Still, he would prefer not to have to lie in secrecy for this he went directly, which he preferred even if he did not interact with any of them on the mission. With that thought in mind, he would confidently walk closer to them but with enough distance to address all of them as they were not all exactly next to each other. "It seems the four of you are being sent on a mission. Fortunately, it seems I was assigned no specific task by Autrox and what there is left to do does not fall into my specialties. So, I have decided to accompany you and offer you my aid in this endeavor." Garret would say with a confident smile, both saying he was intent to go yet offering his services to the endeavor. Should they deny him, he would be more persuasive in trying to join them. For now, he felt what he said should be satisfactory and that they would accept as he himself, save for a little blood on his forehead and the claw marks on his back which could not currently be seen from this perspective which of themselves were not serious wounds, appeared healthy. And save for those wounds, he seemed very confident in himself. He did not mention joining their team as he meant to just accompany them. He would act independently of them for the most part, and would aid them if needed as well as suiting his own desire for more combat. ✘ Post count: 20 ✘Semblance timer: 0/5 ✘ Recharge: 0/5 ✘Grimm Killed: 1 ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ OOC: Traversing courtyard.

Lunia Alexandria Yatomura "I'll make you all proud of me one day.."- - - -
Lunia didn't really appreciate Lena's pat on her cheek, however she knew it was meant with kindness so let it slide. She could tell that she also had lost people, and felt a pain in the pit of her stomach, they had all lost people.
Lunia gave Aurtrox a wave as he flew off, she was a but concerned about him, he had just lost his sister and seemed absolutely fine, it made Lunia wish she was that strong. Before she could think too much about it, her teammate walked right up to her and asked for her weapons, Lunia gulped slightly, this was the closest Charlotte had been to her, and it be honest, she was just happy they were starting to seemingly get along, even a little.
This was soon shattered, when Charlotte couldn't even call Lunia by her name, she looked surprised, and a little disappointed. My weapons? Whatever do you need them for?" she said, taking one of her swords, expanding it to its dual sword state and back in to make sure it was in a working state. She held it out to Charlotte, and nodded. "If I give you one, it still means I have a way of defending myself, I don't have my semblance yet... It's all I have" she replied.
Before Lunia could witness Charlotte's reaction, she heard a girl a short distance away from her shouting 'Stop!' and thrusted her sword to force Charlotte to hold it and raced over. Approaching the girl, she knelt down beside her and held out some bottled fresh water. "Here, have some of this, some people from medical should be here soon, just take it easy, OK?" she said, sending a reassuring smile the girls way.
Lunia would spend as much time with the girl as was needed, "My name is Lunia Ya-" she stopped herself from mentioning her second name, and then suddenly realised how bizarre it must have sounded. "Lunia... What's your name?" she added, changing the subject swiftly. - - - -

After the child had hugged her back, Hizami turned to the headmaster, who as now giving out orders. It seemed that everyone was to report to the cafeteria, and so she nodded. Those in need of medical attention were at the top priority, but at the same time, attacking Grimms needed to be pushed back. Whatever the case, the maiden knew her place was to help whoever needed it first, and ti seemed the injured were put at the highest pedestal. Hizami looked at Aaron and signaled she’d be off, and soon left the courtyard to head over to where she was supposed to be.

She always had that look about her, that look of otherness... ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Her little exclamation hadn't gone quite as unnoticed as she would have liked. As her eyes scanned the courtyard for anyone who might have noticed it, her eyes fell upon that of a man standing several feet away from her just as his own gaze landed on her. There gazes locked for just a moment. Amber and Sapphire. She could sense the curiosity behind his gaze and seeing how he was too far away to offer an explanation, not that she had one... at least not one she could state aloud, she offered him what she hoped to be a sheepish smile instead. His gaze didn't long and as he passed over her with a shrug, she hoped he just forgot about the whole thing. That, or he just brushed it off as some sort of post-stress from the battle. Considering the state she was in, it really wouldn't be hard to pull that off.
She had been about to lay her head back on the broken pillow, hopefully to get some rest, when another student approached her. A small, blue-haired girl, though Zylah was fairly certain she would be shorter were they both to stand. Rarely over was she not. Turning her head slightly, she met the girl's large green eyes with her won blue ones. Zylah was a bit taken aback to see the worry lurking there. Sincere concern for another... for her. It honestly wasn't a look she was used to and it took her several moments to compose herself enough to respond. Once she had recovered from the surprise, she reached out and accepted the water the girl offered. "Thank you." Twisting off the cap she brought it to her lips and took a long swig, the clear liquid slowly rinsing away the metallic taste in her mouth.
The girl went on to explain that there should be people from medical here soon, to which Zylah simply nodded. It was working better in her favor to ignore the pain and thing about other things instead. It helped somewhat and the girl had gotten rather good at it. After many years of practice, she'd nearly perfected the skill. The girl went on to introduce herself. She cut herself off midway, which Zylah found a bit odd, however she didn't question it. Zylah had her fair share of secrets she wanted to keep in the dark. She wouldn't press this girl, Luina, on any matters she wanted to keep private. When she asked for her name, the pale haired girl offered Luina a tired smile. "Zylah. It's nice to meet you. Granted, I would have much preferred not be beaten to a near pulp for it." She teased in that honey-sweet voice of her. It was followed by a musical laugh which quickly faded into a cough.

Lena looked to Charlotte in disbelief. That was so rude to ask a person for their weapons. "Don't give it to her! That’s rude to ask a person." Hopping of Lunia's shoulder she grew to her regular height. The little rebel sitting down next to Lunia. "You like art Lunia? I can spray paint something for you."22 Amélie Lacroix - Amélie nodded. It was reasonable hearing that need. Pausing she looked at Aurtrox before he took off. "Never mind Cherry. Go get some food and gather some supplies." Smiling to the girl she placed a hand on her shoulder. "You’ll make a great leader Cherry. Keep faith in yourself."126

Lunia Alexandria Yatomura "I'll make you all proud of me one day.."- - - - Lunia smiled at the girl, she felt slightly concerned as the girl took a bit longer to respond than expected, was Lunia making her nervous, was she not used to having someone care about her?
"Have the rest if the bottle if you can, I also have some sweets in my pocket if you need a little bit of sugar?" she said, reaching into her pocket and pulling out a little packet of sherbet sweeties, strawberry flavour. Lunia laughed sheepishly, she had such a sweet tooth and although it embarrassed her a little, she knew how much a sweet could make her feel better. "Sorry, I enjoy sweet things a little too much sometimes!" she added, giggling sweetly at Zylah, holding out the packet for her to help herself if she wanted.
"I like that name, Zylah. Your hair is a wonderul colour too, I'm very jealous!" she said, as she noticed some medics arriving at the scene. She waved one over as he began to bandage Zylah up and heal her wounds, but decided to stay beside her, trying to make her as comfortable as possible.
She turned around to look at Lena and smiled, shaking her head. "Don't fret too much Lena, Charlotte is my friend and teammate and I would do anything for my team. Plus I still have two weapons!" she replied, gesturing to her other sword on her back and at her wrist, where she always kept a hidden blade for emergencies. Giving a little smile of reassurance to Charlotte, she hoped they could one day be friends. "Art? I love music, if you would count that as an art I suppose?" Lunia replied, thinking a little of how much she wanted to play a piano again.
Lunia looked back to Zylah, offering to help her stand when the time was right. "How are you feeling now, Zylah?" she asked, looking with concern. Little did she know that Zylah would soon be her new teammate. - - - -

She always had that look about her, that look of otherness... ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Zylah gave a slight nod as Luina suggested she finish the rest of the bottle if she could. Even if she didn't feel like it, she knew hydration was probably a good idea at the moment. It was guilt for a few moments as she took another swing of water, relieved to have rinsed the metallic taste of her own blood from it. However, at the mention of sweets her eyes lit up and a wide grin spread on her lips. It seemed Luina wasn't the only one with a sweet took. Zylah wasn't sure what it was exactly, but much like a child, she'd always had a craving for absolutely anything sweet. "You aren't alone in the prospect." She stated before reaching out and taking a few of the candies into her hand, popping one into her mouth and storing it in her cheek as it slowly melted away. "Thank you. Strawberry is my favorite." She added once the first one had melted away.
Luina went on to give her compliments, both on her hair and her name. Once again the girl was slightly taken aback. It was yet another thing she wasn't used to. Nowadays the only things she got complimented on was a job well done, which usually involves destruction, killing, or other devious orders she had recieved. Before that she couldn't remember getting anything close to a compliment from anyone... except maybe one person, but his words meant nothing to her now and that was a whirlpool of memories she was bit willing to delve into. The girl recovered herself much quicker this time, offering Luina another smile. "You shouldn't be jealous, yours is quite lovely too. Not a color you see very often." She stated, hoping the return of the compliment made up for the small lapse in conversation her silences continued to cause.
At that point the medics were finally approaching the courtyard, each seeking out injured students. As one of them headed towards her, she took another swing of the water before popping the last to candies into her mouth, holding them in her cheek. Zylah had received quite the beating. As she had suspected she'd received a few broken bones, and a concussion, apart from the various scrapes and bruises. The medic didn't what he could to heal her injuries before bandaging those that remained. Her body felt sore and stuff, but the pain was significantly lessened, which combined with the sugar now racing through her veins, put her in a significantly brighter mood.
Once he was finished, the man walked away to help the next unfortunate victim of the battle and Zylah turned her gaze back to Luina, who was speaking to a small student that had been resting on the girl's shoulder. Zylah hadn't actually noticed her until now, but by listening to their conversation, learned her name was Lena. Zylah accepted Luina's outstretcheded hand, letting the girl help pull her from the ground. Despite feeling much better now, she still wasn't sure she could have done it on her own. "You know, Lu," She started, not hesitating to give her a nickname. "I've admittedly been through worse. Thanks to you and that medic over there, I think I'm going to live." She teased, the playful smirk she usually wore returning to her lips. Now that she was standing, she brushed the dust and dirt off her clothes before running her fingers through her hair, keeping her bangs, as always, covering her left eye.

Aaron TalyorHunter in Training x Chief in the Making Aaron was a bit excited when given the orders from the head master. A mission right from the get go. Oh how exciting! The boy perked up with smile even if it was just a simply mission. In fact he started to delve into his own mind a bit too much about it. Literally he tuned out the world around him and before he knew it the master was about the leave when he came too. He would cross him arm over his chest as a salute to the head master. "The job will be done Master Aurtrox! You can count on us." He responded with much enthusiasm right before he vanished. Upon being left to his devices he went to gather with the rest of the members of this rag tag temp team. Although the rest of his comrades seemed to be a bit lacking in the motivation department, he was riled up and ready to go. This was made abundantly clear by the big stupid grin that wouldn't drop from his face. Though his attention got turned towards Cherry of all people, their supposed leader. "You get what supplies you need. We are patient...well I am patient." He corrected himself followed by a little laugh. He would then look to a new guy approaching...what was his name Garret? He greeted the mans smile with one of his own. "Glad to have you along. The more the merrier after all!" The good news was this mission was going to be a walk in the park with all of them. Simple recovery and aid wasn't that bad and they got to help people. Literally a two in one deal that was going to be added to his memory. "I will go pick the med supplies. Meet you all at the front gate!" He would run off having his enthusiasm destroy his patients outright. Posts: 2

Cherry was a little over whelmed maybe. Still, she nods, "Meet up by the gate in a few. everyone should get ready after all of that." She says meaning the shooters they just took down. a little relaxing would have been nice since she still was a bit upset with herself. but she heads off to get her supplies she should have a few rounds left in her locker, ya she could call it here but she rather have a little walk first and come back after a few moments. It didn't take long for her to get a bit off to call her locker she hoped she was right and there was still some in there and not practice rounds.
Once the locker lands she quickly checks she only had one more ammunition belt of 200 rounds that should be plenty right? She grabs it and sends her locker back to were it was. before turning back. Might as well go to the gate now and wait for the team...

Lunia Alexandria Yatomura "I'll make you all proud of me one day.."- - - - Lunia placed the strawberry sweets back into her pocket, she smiled at Zylah and was so glad she had instantly made a connection with her. "Strawberry is the best, isn't it?" she added as she placed another one in her mouth, taking the taste of blood away from her mouth and replacing it with a sweet taste.
She watched as the medic attempted to heal her as best as they could, and hoped she at least felt OK enough to stand. Helping to gently aid her as she stood up, Zylah appeared to be feeling better. Lunia laughed at her comment in good humour and nodded, "I think we both decided to take a huge hammer on face first, I can say i've learned my lesson anyway!" she said, laughing before quickly having to stop herself. Her chest was still quite tender from the blow, she held it for a second, and laughed a bit more gently this time. "Seems I'm still a little worse for wear anyway..." she added.
Smiling brightly inside at the thought of her new nickname, Lunia felt a little too over happy about it, it was only a nickname. She waved towards Charlotte and gestured that she should come over and join them, "I'll introduce you to some of the people I know - always good to know a familiar face in difficult times, right?" she said, smiling at Zylah.
Lunia was kind to the very core of her body, she enjoyed making others smile, and bringing everyone together. As the conversation began to come to a close, Lunia's scroll in her pocket began ringing, as did Zylahs at the same time. She opened it up and checked it, a message reading:
'A new team has been formed, Lunia, Zylah, Aaron and Charlotte, team LAAA'. Take some time to form together, and may the best team shine'
The message came through Aaron and Charlotte's scrolls also, and Lunia had mixed emotions. From the pit of her stomach she felt a bit sick, not only had she just lost two of her team members, it made her miss them. However, she remained positive, and smiled to Zylah as she read the message also. "So, shall we take the time we have free to go for some food?" she asked, looking around for Aaron who she was sure she had already met. - - - -

Aaron TalyorHunter in Training x Chief in the Making As the young boy was heading out for the medical supplies, his scroll started to go off. Aaron would keep on the move while reaching into pocket to retrieve it. It looked like he had just gotten two messages...both from the head master? Skidding to a halt he would read them with urgently. The first one stated that he was not to report for the aid mission, it looked to be that his position was going to be taken by someone with more experience and that the team would informed of this. The feeling of being punched in a gut struck him rather quickly. He was excited to get to go on his first mission. A sigh of disappointment came from under his breath before he went to the next message. In a split second his attitude once again perked up at the news. "A new team has been formed, Lunia, Zylah, Aaron and Charlotte, team LAAA. Take some time to form together, and may the best team shine." The message even came with small portraits so that they could know what the teammates looked like. Adjusting his glasses a bit he peered at the portraits and recognized a couple of them. "Wait...weren't they just back there?" He questioned a bit turned back towards the direction he came from. Seeing that now he didn't have to go on the mission, it was probably a good idea to go back. Perhaps they were still there. With an eager stride he started to make his way back into the main section of the courtyard. Easily he was able to spot a couple of his team mates right in the middle of conversion. In fact he just rolled back up right when they were discussing getting some food. "You know food doesn't sound half bad right now." Aaron would chime in with a smile. He gave a small wave to Lunia and Zylah as a greeting. "Aaron by the way. Aaron Taylor! Guessing you all got the announcement too?" He continued with introducing himself. Posts: 3

After getting her things she gets a message saying the mission was canceled. What so quickly they haven't even left yet. Did the headmaster realize it shortly after sending them out that it was a bad idea? Well, this sucks she was hoping it would be fun. Well, at least now she could have some alone time.
She again calls her locker and puts away her weapon she didn't want to shoot someone by mistake. She just takes her drawing pad and starts walking around the school looking for inspiration for a new drawing.
It took a while for her to get her inspiration Once she did she settled herself in the courtyard under a big tree and starts drawing. It helped her and she was all happy and cheerful once again.

 𝓩𝔂𝓵𝓪𝓱 ✴ 𝓐𝓽𝓵𝓮𝔂
She always had that look about her, that look of otherness... ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Zylah couldn't help the laugh that escaped her lips at Luina's comment. Luina was laughing too, but soon after clutched at her chest in pain. Zylah could relate to the exact pain that she was feeling and it certainly wasn't pleasant. It was like a tiny echo of being smashed into that pillar all over again. Every time she laughed. Every time she breathed. "Yeah... maybe next time we should think twice about taking on a hammer nearly the same size of us head on." She teased, exaggerating ever so slightly. She let out another laugh, nudging the girl gently in the side with her elbow. The more practical side of Zylah knew that she should really take her own words more seriously and not as a joke. However, that side of her was rather minuscule in comparison to all of the others. It was never the side that won the debates in the end. When there actually were debates. In all honesty, Zylah never thought twice about anything. Even when she should.
Luina seemed rather pleased by the nickname Zylah had used on her. She was glad for it, as not everyone reacted well to nicknames, especially when you'd only known the person giving it to you for such a short time. Not that it ever stopped Zylah. It all went back to that tendency of hers to act now and think later. Often times it got her into trouble. In this case it seemed to have gained her a friend. That was good, especially with her task at hand. Blending in, infiltrating the school, becoming a hand on the inside. When Luina offered to introduce her to some people she knew, Zylah nodded and returned her smile. "You certainly aren't wrong there." She replied, following the girl across the courtyard.
It was clear to Zylah that this girl, Luina, was sweet and kind all the way to her core. A part of the blonde knew that she should feel guilt for deceiving her as she was. Keeping her past along with her real identity a secret, attending the school with an alternative agenda. She knew she should feel bad. The same way she should have felt bad when she took the life of that bandit so easily. She just didn't. She couldn't. Even if she could, if she did, she couldn't let such menial emotions get in the way of her mission now. Her train of thought was interrupted by the buzz in her pocket. Admittedly, she was relieved for the distraction stopping her thoughts before they could get too far away from her. Pulling her scroll from her phone, her blue eyes dashed across the screen at the message she had received. The smile on her lips grew wider as she looked back up at Luina. "Looks like it was meant to be." She joked, winking playfully.
It wasn't long before Aaron joined them, answering Luina's question about food before she could before introducing himself. "We certainly did." She started, answering his question with a smile. "Zylah Atley... and you know, food sounds like a heavenly idea right about now." After all, she'd eaten nothing but sweets today. The butterscotch she had received from Ren, and the strawberry candies from Luina. Not to mention she was pretty well depleted from all the energy and aura she'd used in that battle. Food would certainly help. "I had a waffle date... but I think he must have left me for dead." She joked, smirking between the two of them before letting out a laugh. "Maybe I'll pretend I'm a ghost and haunt him with it later." She joked again, and there you had it. That was Zylah for you. Rarely serious, even in the occasions it was called for.
