When Vanna called him a goof, Kingston flashed the older man a grin. "Wouldn't have me any other way though, right?" He caught the look and just kept his face a pleasant smile. "It would be my pleasure. I'm sure if the rolls were reversed you'd offer the same to me." When Vanna got a text, Kingston's ears perked up. "Oh! Mai's ok? I'm glad. Man, I should have thought to get her number, and Ren's. Well, I guess after all this blows over I'll ask them." He was mostly thinking out loud. He was drawn back to the present when Eilwen said a sleepover might be fun. He smiled at her. "You both can gather anything you'd like to bring, familiars, blankets, extra clothes, and drop them off in my room before hand, if you want to come back here and make bracelets." He actually really wanted to make some with his new friends, and make some for Mai and Ren. Kingston held back a laugh when Coco said she thought he was older. "Nah, I'm a just a senior. I'm hoping to graduate soon though. I want to go to Grendel and study theater." He explained to Coco. "So you probably guessed it, but my dorm is in Arkham too. Here, let me write down my dorm number and my phone number, in case you can't find it."

"Hm..." Ashi looked around as everyone started to funnel into 3 different areas once things started to calm down. "Well probably until they've determined things are safe for us to leave... I mean they're letting students back into the dorms. Maybe they're close to catching this guy." Ashi frowned as he noticed that someone was doing crafts. "Part of me wants X to be caught, but the other part of me is thinking that... Something needs to be done about what happened. I dont think killing is the answer.." He nodded toward the table to Zeta. "Want to make a bracelet while we wait..?" Finally something he would be good at and could control. Maybe he could help Zeta design one.

Howl listened to what the others had to say and they both had valid points. She tilted her head some after a little while because she noticed that the crowd in the room had started to thin and she saw Ava wandering around. From what she could over hear it sounded like they had opened the dorms. "Oh.. Look, someone has..." She started to speak before she got up and walked off for a few minutes and vanished into the crowd. Someone had a crafts table where they would making bracelets. Howl grabbed some supplies and brought it back to the group and offered it to them as she sat back down. "Hey look~" She put the supplies in the middle. The Grimm was starting to feel restless, usually she would go for a run but in this case she needed to find something else to do.So she jumped back into the conversation as she made herself a bracelet. "I wonder what will happen with X and the others he talked about... Do you think they'll kill them if they manage to track to them down?" It seemed like the wrong thing... But Howl was happy that wasn't a choice she needed to make.

Kunibert's interest piqued at what Bambina was reading, causing the freshling to glance down to the book at her side. Her head bobbed up and down in response, and she allowed herself a brief flash of a smile. The weather was always something that she had found fascinating. Why the light shined, what the clouds were called, how snow or rain was formed, and even which way the wind blew. There was so much to it all, and she could read or learn about it every day and not grow tired. When she was older, she would make it her living one day. "This book is about the different types of weather patterns and cloud formations with their names." The book at her side looked worn from use, and its language was a bit dense. Sometimes she had trouble with the bigger words, but if that was the case, there was always a dictionary. "When I'm grown up, I want to be a meteorologist."
Beside her Raggazino was busily working on patching up some plushies. When he finished with one, he handed it over to her, and she looked at it with a keen eye. After giving it a once-over, she then nodded in satisfaction, and gave the toy a quick hug. "I love it," she told him, only to set it alongside the plushie that Kunibert had given her a little earlier. Slowly but surely, she was amassing a horde of stuffed animals. Who would have thought she'd be one to have a plushie army? Bambina, herself, certainly didn't. Mentally, she made a note to herself to be careful. The last thing she wanted was too many toys or trinkets in her room. She enjoyed being able to keep things neat and tidy.
Finally, Bambina's eyes fell upon another freshling their age: a naiad. Despite being half Goblin, the hybrid had never really had a chance to interact with many Daydreams before. The arrival of Joephi was a welcomed surprise. "Nice to meet you," she told the purple naiad. "I'm Bambina, and this is my twin, Ragazzino." A clawed hand then motioned over to her twin who was sitting next to her. Two new friends in one day? Maybe coming to the auditorium wasn't so bad after all.

Hiroshi frowned, though he watched as beads were brought out and people began to make them. Maybe it'd be good for Niamh to make some to get her mind off of things? He stood up for a moment and walked over, grabbing some of the beads and other things from off the table before walking back with them in hand, he offered to both of the girls before he began some of the busywork himself so that he could try and calm down. "Maybe... it was an over exaggeration?" He offered. "I know that being a Hallowed in my society... a lot of people believed I was a monster, maybe the kids are just... playing into it to scare people? Maybe it really isn't true." He hoped not, he really didn't know what to think about it if it were true. The whole idea made him shudder, but he wanted to give them a benefit of a doubt because of how he had been treated in the past by people who didn't understand.
Hiroshi chewed on his lower lip as both girls spoke. "I.... Unfortunately... there are a lot of terrible people in the world." If anything he thought that maybe the other Hallowed understood this, but he had noticed that in the Below things were a lot different than they had been in his village. The Hallowed seemed to be a lot more accepted, so maybe she hadn't faced the kinds of discrimination that he had? "But... there are also just as many good. Maybe they just need to realize that, to meet those kinds of people?" He continued to speak as he slid beads onto the string.
He frowned at Niamh's panic attack, not sure if he should try to touch her since he knew that not all people were okay with that kind of thing. "I'm sure your familiars will be fine. They didn't seem like they were that interested in them. Besides... Aren't they safe at either your dorm or your house?" He pulled the last bead on a couple of bracelets and handed one to both Yaruka and Niamh.Quote: For himself~ Lady Aria Starstone For Niamh~ For Kichiro when all of this is done~ Yaruka For Yaruka~ Leopleuradon For Ai when all of this is done~ For Etsuko when all of this is done~ Yushika For Tomoe when all of this is over~ Hiroshi wants to meet him someday!

"I've never met a meteorologist," Kuni said. "I sink zat's a very interesting sing to pursue. A nice field of science to get interested in, very important." Kuni looked over her, trying to think of something else to say. "Vhat vas ze vezzer like today?" he said. Hey, it was a start! Talking about the weather wasn't small talk if you were talking to a meteorologist, even a miniature one. "I mean, zere vere some very interesting clouds this afternoon. Vhat vere zey called, if you saw zem?"
Kuni looked over at Joephi and inside allowed himself a proprietorial shimmer of satisfaction. Yes, these kids were getting along splendidly. Maybe they'd become friends someday? It was nice to think that he might be introducing people to longterm friends. It was an arrogant thought, and it probably wouldn't turn out to be true, but hey, it was a thought! And it was a nice one at that, something cheerful to think about in a situation that still felt tense and wrong. Despite his earlier assurances, Kuni wasn't confident at all that the crisis was over. He felt certain that this emergency wasn't over, not by a long stretch. It felt like the calm before a storm. "Vhat kind of clouds do you get right before a storm, Bambina?"
He was paying an awful lot of attention to just one of the children in his charge--er, his company. "Vhat are you interested in, Zino und Joephi? Do you two have any hobbies?" It was as much to include them as it was to have something to distract himself from the sense of foreboding that was growing steadily stronger in his mind.

There was progress again. Good think that his lack of conversation skills where at least being somewhat useful. He did agree with checking to see about the familiars. This whole episode was far from being resolved and it would be good to set up the familiars for a more long term absence. It would help to tick that worry off the list at least. “that sounds like an awesome plan.” Baum stated following after , from the direction they were going Baum had a feeling they were both in Eldritch. Hmm made checking on everyone’s familiars easier and maybe… maybe he’d bump into Kadali on the way over and he could finally stop worry about his sister... “Well I really want to be a police officer so that I can help people in the future, but I also really like taking pictures.” Baum admitted. The older he got the more unsure he was of his path in life. “although a scrap book does sound like it would be really fun”

The plight of X and his comrades was something that wasn't leaving the fallen's mind; what had happened to them? Was it really as bad as they had said it was? Neither Yaruka nor any of them could have known, considering that they were not a part of it. That was another thing that was bothering her; they seemed so hell-bent on exacting revenge on everyone. Was it necessary to try and harm innocent people who had nothing to do with whatever had happened to them? Yaruka was quiet for a while as her mind swarmed with these thoughts and she fumbled a bit with the beads that the kumiho had brought them, so much so that she almost didn't hear Hiroshi as he spoke. "Hmm....I suppose so....though there has to be some reason for them to speak so harshly. Even if it's not as bad as they say...there has to be a reason for their actions. She was right with Hiroshi on this; she didn't want it to be true. How could someone have survived for as long as these people had if they required eating the flesh of the living? "If only it were that simple...." She looked over at Hiroshi with a somewhat bitter smile. "Simply meeting the good people in the world doesn't heal wounds that run as deep as theirs seem to...not immediately, anyway. Years of hatred must be somehow broken through so that compassion and understanding can be allowed in."
Niamh's sudden panic pulled her attention back to the chimera, her own face shifting into one of mild dread. She had been so wrapped up in what happened that she had momentarily forgotten about her own familiars. Were they alright without her? She wasn't worried so much about Rei, since the nezubat could easily fly away from trouble, but what about Harlequin? The revenant was a timid thing and often chose to hide rather than flee. Then again...."Well, considering everything is on lockdown I'm certain that they're fine for now. Though if you live in the dorms, they just opened up the dorm floors; we can go check on them if you'd like?" Yaruka gently placed a hand on one of Niamh's to try and ground her from her potential panic attack. She was genuinely concerned for the girl. She looked up when Hiroshi passed a bracelet over for each of them, smiling softly at the kumiho. "Thank you." She slid the bracelet onto her wrist and smiled at the little trinket; a symbol of good will and companionship in this time of chaos.

"I'm actually in Arkham as well." Eilwen smiled, at least that meant less running around, plus Kingston was also in the Arkham dorms. That really couldn't have been more convenient if it was planned. Finally the shakes were starting to leave her and she was thinking with a much clearer head.
"Alright well, we'll meet up later." She gave Vanna a big hug, so happy that he was here. The situation may suck, but at least someone she trusted was here to go through it with her. Hopefully this would all blow over soon. She could only hope that someone was capable of handling whatever was going on outside. "C'mon Coco~" Eilwen took the others girl's hand, for both of their comfort.
She led them out of the Auditorium and toward the Arkham dorm, there were a lot of others heading out to the dorms as well, looking to get away from all of those bodies filling up the Auditorium. It wasn't too long before they were walking down familiar halls, she stopped at her door and peeked it open, okay so maybe she was still a little paranoid. "Just a few things and then we're off..." She let go of Coco's hand, "If you wanted to go to your dorm we can meet back in the hall? Or you can come in, I just have to change real fast, and grab a pillow and blanket." She left the door open and opened her closet door to change behind it. She put on a comfortable pale of sweat pants and a simple t-s**t. She usually wouldn't go out dressed like this, but she valued comfort more than style at this point, she fixed her ribbon in her hair again, it had become a mess honestly. She switched her contacts out for her glasses as well, much better. Then she grabbed her pillow and blanket from her bed.
"Alright...ready to go." She headed out and closed the door behind her with a little sigh.

“mmmm would I?” Vanna trailed off teasingly at kingston’s question. “I guess nope, no I wouldn’t. As for Mai, well she’s still a little unsettled if the typos in her text message are any indication but she’s somewhere in the building and with Ren” He was glad that Eilwen was perking up. Mai always had this ability to come through for people, especially him without her even knowing it. While his younger sister was shy and had a lot of self-esteem issues one thing she took seriously was family. Eiron would be safe and definitely in good hands. It was good to at least get rid of one worry, although he still would have liked all his people with in his eyesight. “It’s a really good program for just that reason. It can give people the chance to have a family if they match you up well. After all families aren’t always just about whom you are blood related to.” Vanna added, turning towards Coco as the demon mentioned their own ‘older sibling’ tales. “It’s no problem Coco. Kingston practically befriends and it’s my job to look after people… in a way” He tuned the group out a bit to finish catching up with his messages. Luckily Fon and Yami were good at what they did although they did clash heads badly at times. Seeing as a plan was made, he stuffed the phone back in his back pocket again just in time to get a hug from Eilwen which he happily returned.

Coco smiled softly as Kingston spoke and she gladly took the dorm number and phone number putting it into her phone, before turning to nod to Vanna. She didn't want to get lost with Eilwen and have something bad happen, though maybe Eilwen was brave? Coco nodded and moved to follow Eilwen. Coco scurried after Eilwen a little nervous about leaving Kingston and Vanna what if something got them while they were separated?? Coco grabbed the edge of Eilwen's sweater in a nervous gesture. Coco nodded "Yes I'll be right back and I'll leave my door open too." Coco said nervous about this whole ordeal. Then she went to her dorm. She wanted to get clean and put on clean clothes and get her two familiars and blankets and pillows as fast as she could then get back to the others. Coco nodded and went to wash her face, change into clean Pjs. She put on clean socks and a new pair of tennis shoes in case they needed to run. Coco didn't want to put on slippers if she was going to run away from monsters. Coco decided to put on blue Pj pants with little penguins on them, and a soft light blue tee shirt. Her tennis shoes were light blue. She then pulled her hair back in a ponytail. Coco went out into the hallway to meet up with Eilwen so they could quickly get back to Kingston and Vanna. "Are we meeting them in Kingstons room or back at the gym??" Coco asked softly. Coco felt so much better holding her pillow and blanket with her two familiars following her. Also being clean helped a ton. Even with everything going on she was really looking forward to making bracelets with the others.

Aedus left Kappa laying on his other bed, "I think we should just let Kappa rest a while Nimah." He turned to her and said "Come on we'll go back downstairs you can make bracelets. Aedus left his familiars in the room with the door open so they wouldn't be trapped. Aedus shrugged "Yea I guess so." He frowned he thought Nim would want to make bracelets, but maybe she wanted to stay in the room with Kappa to rest, if that was the case he would let her use his bed and he'd lay on the floor. "What do you want to do Nim? Stay here or go back down??"

It didn't take long before Coco was back in the hall with her, at least things were going smoothly for now. Eilwen put on a little smile as she pulled out her own phone to look at the time. Well, she didn't really want to grad her blanket and pillow around so, first things first a stop by Kingston's room to drop off her things.
"I think I'll drop my blanket and pillow off at Kingston's then we can head back." She had heard where it was, and seen him in the halls before. Sh lead them through to the Senior's area and was surprised when the door was unlocked, of course she had left her's unlocked in her hurry before. Hopefully no one would go around looting things if this went...sour. She dropped her things on the bed for now and then back out into the hall.
"Alright, let's go make some bracelets." She felt a little better now, being able to return to her dorm and all. The Academy was safe, surely it would hold up against what was out there. A sleep over with friends and some bracelets would make her feel better for sure. She took Coco by the hand again to lead them back to the auditorium where Vanna and Kingston were surely waiting to make some bracelets.

She glanced at Kappa, who looked totally exhausted. "I think you have the right idea. I'm sure Kappy wouldn't mind a rest." She smiled at him, trying to use her friendliest possible grin. "Your familiars can keep him company." She nodded, seeming very pleased with this realization.
"I'd love to go make bracelets! It looked pretty fun, didn't it?" The tiny Fey was already halfway out the door, her own tiredness forgotten with the chance to do something fun. She paused to pet a few more familiars before fully slipping out. "You guys be good and keep our friend Kappa company, okay?" A few more pets, and she was in the hall, practically bouncing on her toes.
"You know, I've never made a bracelet before. I don't know if I'll be any good at it!"

Yuta noticed the the tendrils changing color again. He figured they were effected by the other freshling's emotions. He wondered what emotion the hybrid was experiencing right then, but tuned back in on the conversation. "Eh, you sorta get used to it." He shrugged, though he he didn't understand how Nixies or their hybrids were able to keep moisturized enough to be out of water for so long. Yuta wasn't the best at sewing. He had watched others in his village patch up clothes and make things like that before, but he had never tried it himself. The Kumiho tried his best to focus on the task at hand, taking the directions as seriously as possible. He noticed the others had just about finished two as he had finished one so he did his best to pick up his pace. He made sure that there was an extra one left that he could give to Harley. He figured that this would be even better since he made it himself. "There, all done!" He looked proud of his work. "One for the both of you!" He handed the little plushies to his new freshling friends. "Now you have something to remember me by!" He giggled as he tucked Harley's away. iMoony He has given it to you! Magician Arcana He has given it to you too!
