Torin was right the moment he stepped inside his father was speaking forcefully (he never YELLED) to him, saying how irresponsible he was and how his cousin, Kin would never act this way! H ewalked stiffly up to his room and slamed his door (which is out of character for him), and flopped face down on his bed screaming into his pillow, trying not to let it get to him... he was a guy, his parents son.. he couldn't let them upset him like this!! He never even realized Kotaba was with him...

He jumps a bit wide eyed after feeling somwthing curl up against him "Kotaba! What are you doing here??" He pauses as he hears his father shout up for him to hurry up and get ready "I KNOW DAD! I'M COMMING!!" He gave Kotaba another bewildered look before running around his room getting out a pair of slacks and dress shirt to change into.

He half-freezes as he's buttoning his shirt "I NEED you?? NO.. right now.. I NEED extra hands! I need to tidy up downstairs and get started on dinner before company gets here... and I have no time *shouting downstairs* I'M COMMING!!" He slips ona pair of dress shoes and starts down the stairs

Alarmed he pushes her back in his room and shuts the door "Are you CRAZY?? If my parents see you they'll call the cops.. or worse! You have to stay hidden!! Do you not understand the situation you've put me in?" He massages his temples.. he was getting a headache

You don't have to like them... but they ARE my parents and so for my sake you CAN'T be seen!! My mom will flip.. she hates animals.. and strangers... she already doesn't like Charli i can just imagine what she'll say about you. PLEASE stay hidden!"

He shrugs "I'm always alone... I prefer it." It doesn't come out quite as sure as he ment it to be but decides to forget it and heads downstairs to the kitchen where he starts preparing a quick yet elegant looking meal

he shrugs as he chops some vegetables for a salad.. ignoring his mothers grumbling in the background on how he better not make a sloppy meal and for gosh sakes could he clean up the living room, as she ran around doing what Torin secretly called 'slutting herself' up. Crude-yes.. but accurate.
