Ziel Post 4“Woah, woah, woah. Masika! Wait a minute.” Ziel raised her hands up in the air, a surprised expression on her face. “You’re participating in the tournament?” Why wasn’t her mother this amazing, why didn’t Alassiel allow her to participate? “My mom wouldn’t let me participate.” Ziel made a face, why did her mother have to be so… Restricting sometimes. Honestly, V’demhe was such an open mother, why couldn’t her own be more like that? “I hope your mother rubs some of that spirit onto my mother one day.” She said with a sigh. “Are any of you guys participating as well?” She asked Draven and Eleina.

Eleina Post 4 "Masika's not fighting? Right?" she said curiously as she looked towards the other girl. She didn't think that was something that Dem would allow, and she was pretty sure that one of them would've told her some time during their walk to the tournament.
"I am. I actually should have my fight sometime after Dem comes back, provided her fight isn't all that long. My name's Eleina by the way." She offered with a smile, not sure which one of them caught it the first time. There was so many of them appearing at once it was possible they had all missed it.
"I'm a little worried. I fought against the extremist when the war happened, but I didn't do so well. Hopefully I'll do better this time."

Alassiel Post 4Giving Z’ran a quick kiss on the lips, Alassiel rose from her seat and excused herself as she moved down the aisle towards the stairs and then out behind. The crowd was thick; there was no way she would be able to find her daughter or Masika in it. Perhaps she would go and wait for V’demhe, surely if Ziel had found Masika then V’demhe knew where her own daughter was. So Alassiel moved and went down to where most of the fighters came out from the ring and waited to see the tall Alkidike. She couldn’t miss her through the crowd of shorter Earthlings.

Takoda Post 4 Staring at the young man he had managed to get the boys name right and it didn't surprise him that Nuawhan didn't remember him he was very young at the time and feverish. Still it pleased him to see that he was doing well and had grown into a fine young man. "I am not surprised you don't remember me, but you were very young at the time. I found you wandering through the forest of Jahaur with your camperal you had a fever ." Takoda gently reminded him, though even if he still didn't recal him he wasn't mad. He couldn't really fault someone for forgetting someone they had only met once.

Shima Post 3: Going to see the tournament was going to be interesting, Shima was curious to see if any alkidikes would be participating. Or anyone they may know. But for right now food was their priority. Though her mind began to wander a bit after listening to her brothers praise. Yeah she probably would of done well wouldn't she? Though which weapon she was going to use was still up in the air but she thought maybe a lance of some sort. She imagined hitting people in the head with the shaft and it earned herself a snort of laughter. "Ah well can't cry over something we can't change. But come on Jerami! Jhana! You choose what you think looks the BEST to eat. I am so hungry I could empty all the stalls around!" Shima boasted trying to sound like she was actually hungrier than she sounded. Tugging her siblings forward and then pushing them ahead so they could pick the best things to munch on.

Vodyanoi -- Post 4
Vodyanoi shrugged his shoulders at the shieldbearer -- Xarnith -- apologized for his sour attitude, and offered the man a consoling sort of smile.
"Well, someone's got to lose. And although I'm no expert on these things, it seems much better to lose in a tournament for entertainment than a real battle. Maybe you're just saving up all your winning for when it counts, hm?" It seemed a reasonable enough thought, and anyhow, Vodyanoi meant it. He didn't see anything wrong with losing. It was just failure when you were being compared with others, and failure... that happened all the time, when you were a musician. Performance as a whole was a process of failing until you improved!
"I'm a drummer." He told Bisera, raising his hands to clap out a quick beat (his bracelets ringing with the motion, making a fairly happy sound). "But I sing and dance too. You can come watch a performance if you'd like. In fact, why not. Once this fight it over -- " He pointed to the particularly intense battle going on in the arena right now, featuring a rather striking (literally) Alkidike -- we can find us something to eat, and I can take you over to our little stage."

Juno -- Post 3
He had caught a few good fights in the arena -- it sure was something to see, with combatants as varied as their weapons and fighting styles. He hadn't seen quite this much weaponry since the battle against the Alkidikes in Sauti, although this had an entirely different feel about it. Here, it felt good to clap and cheer for whoever you picked to side with, and not worry about anybody's plans for conquest and invasion.
After a while, he got to thinking that he should get back to his stand before he got into trouble (Beota, the Oban baker, was not fond of standing around for very long, and had warned him that she expected him back in a short while). So he hurried back to the bustling temporary marketplace. He had full intentions to take over from Beota right away, but found himself tarrying beside a stall that had come up beside the bakery. It was manned by an odd-looking Alkidike with foggy eyes, and Juno watched her curiously as he nibbled on one of his remaining honey-buns.

Ouen -- Post 1
Ouen recovered quickly from his botched battle. It wasn't exactly his best showing... but the shifter was past his young and prideful days, and wasn't particularly bothered by the loss. Besides, he knew himself that his strength in battle was as the leader of a swift and competent band. A one-on-one sparring match was fun once in a while, that was certain -- and a victory would have pleased him plenty. But he didn't dwell much on the disappointing results, and ventured out to enjoy the rest of the festival atmosphere.
Almost immediately (perhaps because she too was coming from the infirmary), he noticed a young water earthling he'd seen in the arena while waiting for his match. She'd won her battle, he recalled, and waved towards her as she passed.
"Saw you's out 'ere." He drawled, waving towards the stands. "Was a dang good fight, for a couple'a kids. You gonna keep at it? Looks like you got 'em makin's of a sharp fighter."

Araie Post 2"Eziya? Is that you?" Araie asked as she heard a familiar voice. It took her a moment to get through the crowd, but once she did, she was absolutely positive that it was Eziya. She looked a lot older and more mature and far more beautiful than the last time she had seen her, but she knew it had to be her. What were the chances that the first healer she had just happened to stumble upon would be her old friend? She was so excited to see her again, even if it had been a long time since they had seen each other.

Natalil Post 1
Natalil practically fell backwards on her butt as someone ran into her full force. She barely managed to catch herself in time and placed a hand on her head to try to stop the dizzy feeling in her head. Owwww. Who in their right mind runs into a blind woman?
"Hello to you too," Natalil grumbled, looking at the vague shape in front of her. The person was most certainly taller than her, so she'd probably run into their chest. If that was so, she was curious to know how they'd been so distracted as to not even notice she was in front of them. She wasn't that small of a girl.

V'demhe Post 4She had lost her fight but it didn't hamper her mood at all. Dem had gone against a fellow Alk and as such the loss didn't sting her pride. Instead she was making her way over to the healers. The tall woman figured if she returned to the kids while still bleeding then they might get worried. Of course she had no idea that she was being searched for. Looking down at her abs she gently touched the wound that was there, doing her best to wipe away the blood.

Nera - Post Four
“Karo,” Nera retorted then rolled her brightly colored hues. “Of course you didn’t recognize me, look at how attractive I’ve grown, adulthood suits me.” Slender fingertips (that had already been licked clean of sticky residue) snaked their way into her snowy white mane and gave the thick locks a gentle tussle. This wasn’t the Nera that the other noble had known when they were children. That girl had been loud and wore garish clothing, now however the beast charmer spoke in silken tones, refined and eloquent; even her demeanor seemed to read like a woman of superior upbringing not an arrogant, loudmouthed brat.
“Don’t worry about the fight. I gave it my best and you were better. I still have a lot of training to do,” A small hand reached out and gave the darker-skinned woman’s shoulder a firm squeeze of reassurance. “I wouldn’t have wanted you to pull your punches. How am I to learn anything if you went easy on me. Besides---” Nera’s hand darted to Karothdra’s side and tried to racked her glossed nails over the sensitive skin she found there in an attempt to tickle her old friend. “We had people in the stands to impress.”

Kresimir .|. Post 4He smiled kindly at Itotia for her wishes of good luck. It at least seemed somewhat genuine. Kres thought he saw the edges of Itotia's mouth turn up just slightly but it could have just been his imagination. Almost like a nervous habit, especially upon seeing the slight smile on Aseara's face along with her comments, the young shifter brushed the hair back away from his face. "I appreciate your invitation, Miss Aseara. My match is likely to begin soon so I should go get ready. If I have time or mostly don't embarrass myself too much, and if you both are still here of course, I would enjoy both of your companies I'm sure. In case I don't come back, it was a pleasure meeting you and seeing you both." And with that, he took his leave to prepare for his match. Hopefully they didn't think him too much an idiot. Just getting a quick post in before any mule post, sorry for taking so long >.< He'll come back after the mule post and his match. Which he loses kinda horribly. XD Will also give you both time to have some interaction between your two if you wish. <3

Eziya Post 2 Eziya listened to the man's questions, nodding her head as she thought of what would be best for him. She wasn't sure if she would be able to help him how he needed to or not, and that made her a bit nervous. She knew a lot about healing of course, but she was still very unskilled compared to someone who had been doing it longer. "Well sir, is the wound deep or just superficial? Did you get it during your fight?" she questioned, attempting to narrow down what he needed for the injury. If she narrowed it down then maybe she could better assist. She just didn't want to look like an idiot. She heard someone else call out to her then, getting momentarily distracted by her planning. It took her a moment to realize just who was speaking, and when she did she couldn't help but grin. "Araie! Hi! Are you needing help too?" Eziya bounced, looking between her two customers.

Barihn Post 2 "Nice to meet you. Are you from around here?" Barihn questioned, leaning down to help her up. "I'm new here myself. Just came to see what these fighting things were about." The boy had no idea the matori in front of him was blind. He'd never met a blind person before, let alone a matori. She was a strange being to him, one he would very much like to talk with more. "So those things on the side of your head? They look like fins. Are they fins? Do you have ears too?"
