Babylon

Babylon glanced briefly behind him, nodding to Chariklo, the cat that accompanied her, and to Baikal. It was good to see them, even in these uncertain circumstances. It was good to see Hvergelmir, too, but he understood why she'd gone to stand where she did - Babylon raised his left hand and tapped out a quick message on his ring's holographic interface, glancing briefly down to make sure he hadn't made any unforgivable typos.

The shadowy figure spoke again, his eyes moving across the crowd - Babylon shuddered when it was his turn to hold the stanger's gaze, but tried to clamp down on it. Respect was important. So was not showing fear.

A treaty with queen Beryl was enough for him to put an approximate date to the stranger, and an enemy of an enemy was certainly a good start for an alliance... but the man's strange energy signature still needed to be dealt with, along with his mysterious identity. "I don't pretend to speak for everyone here," said Babylon, speaking up to fill the silence left when the Page of Ganymede finished speaking, "But your offer seems like it would offer us a new advantage that it would be wise to take. However, I'm sure you can appreciate that we want to know who we're dealing with. Who were you, that Beryl would see fit to make treaties with you, would see a need to imprison you?"

Andronicus Squire

The squire winced every time someone lashed out at the figure. She understood the reasoning behind it; most newcomers ended up betraying them after all. The problem was, as the cloaked figure said, that hostility got them no where, and they were not in a position to argue semantics and logistics either.

Andronicus listened quietly, eyebrows raising curious at different points as he spoke. He was not from Earth. That was curious. He signed a treaty with Beryl, a long lost royal of Earth, and Metallia by association. He would have them do something for him, hmm?

Of course a price to pay for power.

Some spoke before her, asking what the task was. She added to the question, reiterating something from earlier.

"My condolences for the suffering you've been put through. Is the eradication of the Negaverse your goal... and or, do you require our help to get you home?" Probably a obvious question, but it was better to get all the information she could before agreeing to whatever he asked.

She was going to. There was no question on that.

Ganymede eyed Gevaudan and felt somewhat uncomfortable. Not because of anything he did or said, but because she wasn't all that confident in herself when it came to him. She really wanted him to like her, but she wasn't sure how to go about doing that. Somehow she wasn't sure being herself was going to help her, given her tendency to mouth off and annoy people. She wasn't always the nicest person and had the habit of expressing her discomfort with group settings by being a complete pain in the a**.

She didn't even necessarily disagree with him. Not completely. She didn't think the Negaverse as a whole should be considered their enemy, though she hated quite a lot more of them now than she used to. She only considered those who posed a significant threat to be their enemy. The rest were just misguided. And probably brainwashed. And they had really weird hangups about Moon Queens and Moon Princesses that didn't really have anything to do with Earth as it was now considering they were, well... dead.

Ganymede rolled her eyes and made an ugly face when the cloaked figure responded to her. Naturally she was chided for being perfectly rational. That wasn't anything new.

“We're the ones who asked questions first. You didn't answer them. Instead you asked us questions and expected us to answer when you didn't show us the same courtesy before. Answering our questions now doesn't change the fact that you didn't when we asked you the first time.”

She probably wasn't making herself any allies, and she probably wasn't really being smart by back-talking someone who could very well be more powerful than she was.

Okay, so maybe she wasn't really as rational as she liked to think she was.

He said some really encouraging things about the Negaverse and Metallia being his enemy, and if that was the case she could maybe see how allying with him would be helpful, but he also had absolutely nothing to show that he was being truthful. He could just as easily be spouting off exactly what they wanted to hear.

“Do you have a name to go along with that sob story we have no proof even happened?”

There was a Page up by the cloaked figure. Upon closer inspection his outfit sported some very familiar looking symbols. But he was bowing to the cloaked figure. And that just made Ganymede feel really... really... she didn't know, but her stomach did kind of a weird flop and she felt a little protective of this poor boy and his obvious (and hopefully genuine) efforts at being respectful.

“Hey... Hey!” she said in a loud whisper that may as well have not been a whisper at all, considering her voice tended to carry. “You with the stripey pants! Don't stand so close to him when you don't know if he's dangerous or not! And... don't bow down like that, oh my god he could kill you without you even noticing!”

Adria, Senshi of Sunsets

Adria immediately squirmed when Cassiopeia spoke up; he moved to stand further behind Lysithea. He did not like the stranger's eyes; it wasn't that they were particularly hostile or anything, they were just glowing. He wasn't even looking at him and it felt like his blood was running cold.

But everything about this guy was like something out of a dark fantasy. Or worse, a horror. And he was trying not to think the worst of him. Some of his words resonated with him, but Adria could not bare the thought of speaking up or drawing attention to himself. He stayed low, and he was happy to stay low. He had no question that hadn't been asked, and no statement worth hearing.

In fact, right now he just wanted to go home, too.

But loyalty to Lysithea kept his feet solidly on the ground, and curiosity—and hope—that they would get answers, soon, only solidified that resolve.

…Even if he couldn’t understand half of what was being said around him.

Gevaudan

The knight glanced over at the Princess and smiled. That was a very logical statement to make. Why give intelligence when nothing was provided. If anything, they could hope to get SOMETHING out of him, even if he didn't want to piss off a power that might become a ally. That still didn't mean he was opening his arms to some foreign power that professed to need them.

"So do you guys often get foreign agents from space coming to seek your aid? The only aliens we met wanted us dead and we had to just killed off." The damn tree from ages ago was a good example.

"Seems it doesn't matter what you say. No one is organized to be the lead speaker for the group. Everyone else is just giving out what you aren't. Shouldn't you be in charge if you're a Princess? Like our General Queens?"

Though he did hear one voice that had him looking around.

Elpis

Elpis gave Porrima a reassuring smile of encouragement, nodding to her fondly. As the figure looked, she didn't flinch - while unnaturally piercing even to her, glances similar were not unfamiliar to her from her own father. From Mo-her mother. It was a look of assessment, attention, she wagered.

But that voice. Those words, his first interest, with questions pouring in, flooding him, and she shot a few scowls at the otherts before making up her mind, motioning to Porrima to walk with her. Her tough exteriour melted at his wish to go home, the normally business-like senshi all but melting with compassion as she showed her palms in an unarmed gesture, trying to approach gently, ignoring the less trusting around.

Trust befriended Sphalerite, and she knew some were in need of saving. She knew some could be good - and she murmured in a warm tone to the cloaked figure, trying not to frighten them.

"How can we - or I if it comes to it - do that, friend?" Elpis asked.

He was hurting, and listening to his betrayal - aw damnit, she was crying, and managed to resist hollaring at the others about onion slicing.

"How? I'm willing, friend. And I'm sorry you were hurt."

She just hoped Porrima helped her protect this figure if it came to it from the less friendly of Order present - and she gave Porrima a pleading look to do so.

"At least it seems nicer then." Cordoba said quietly. She remained behind Babylon awkwardly, vaguely aware she [iought to come out eventually, but for now? Nope. In case it got ugly, she didn't know how to fight, or who to defend, and she doubted music would help, sighing.

"Uggghhh... This is nerve-wracking..."

Her aura was high like Camelot's, and from observations here, many auras felt at various levels. A meaning? Likely, and worth investigating. For now, though, manners for a lovely lady were required.

Castor, near the figure, with an Arthur on his head, an Iduna under his wings, and too many words dear ******** GOD

"I am afraid that who you are is as relevant as to whom you are beholden to, and to who's banner you march or once marched under." Castor might have been polite, but the being, this man, was speaking in a way that sent a chill down his spine.

This was like talking to Kunzite all over again. A memory, an echo of someone who knew and who's past held answers that were not going to be given without cajoling. Or as he'd done in his youth, incessant prodding.
"You don't seem to be in the best of shape to put it bluntly. But, just the same, if you are from a time you say you are from- Endymion and Serenity are dead. However, Beryl has been removed as well. Metalia is the current leader spearheading the force calling itself the negaverse. Kunzite was-"
Brilliant. A better person than he was. Someone who didn't deserve to have been cut down and should have had a second chance.
Someone who could have guided them to perhaps a better future.
"Reborn free to Beryl's thrall, but has also fallen. Helios has vanished, for the better in my opinion, and of the survivors of the white moon kingdom?" Castor motioned to the crowd.
"Many who are here are it's remnants. However." He bristled as he heard some answers saying they served white moon.

"Some would claim the White Moon Kingdom as their sovereignty, Others do not. A very distinct difference for and to myself."
Others gave their voices and some, he could agree with other he did not.

Looking back at the crowd, he smiled at the arrival of Polaris, resisting giving her a wave. Though his smile shifted to something more unpleasant as it moved to rest on Hvergelmir. There was no trust between them, and he knew that. Teide came as an unexpected surprise, one that made his unfriendly grin crack to uncertainty.
"Sparklestick. I was wondering when you'd show. And I'm glad to see you're holding up well Pinkie."
It did remind him however to the small child behind his wings. And, to the man's assertion to power.

"Hey, Iduna, go stand with Hvergelmir alright? I don't want to hit you with my wings. If you stay there, you might get hurt." A hand reached up, stroking the head of one guardian cat before scratching under his chin.
"Still not my daughter."

But that out of the way, Castor looked back at the man, curious and doing his best not to show more than needed. School his face, mask his emotions- lessons his brother had given him that Castor had never mastered.
"If it's power or knowledge you offer, I'm not one to turn it down. But... Everything comes with a price in war, and yours is a favor- I'm more than willing to perform favors in exchange for power. I don't want this rock. It's not mine, and I have mine. You want to leave and that makes two of us. There are no defined leaders here except those who once were."

It was their safest option. He knew it would cost him to make the claim, hell, he'd already shown himself as a royal, and now, he was realizing that it had been a mistake to do so.

When you had power and had a captive audience, the best way to assert power over them was to assert power over their leaders.

Two hands behind his back, his old and yet reliable flip phone was opened, memory guiding fingers as he text out a single message.

To Polaris
Kep distncz. s**t like fqun old skol

He kept talking- the one thing he'd always been good at.
"I enjoy alliances, provided they prove to my benefit and end goal. You want off this rock? Done." He smiled at the figure.
"Tell me how to get you to your home, and I'll do it. Explain what power you offer, because if it's worth my time, then its worth me ricking my a** for."

Super Sailor Sidouer // Senshi of Static

Slightly startled, Sidouer’s body tensed beneath Cetus’s tentative touch. It was a knee-jerk reaction to gatherings like this given past experiences but she recovered quickly. “I should be asking you the same thing.” the Senshi of Static replied, glancing over at him with an inquisitive raised brow.

Raising her hand up she pressed her index finger to her lips indicating that now was not the time to continue on with the conversation and instead motioned for him to follow her towards the growing crowd of young senshi and pages that were gathering around the Senshi of Doves.

Upon approach Sidouer gave Phact a small waive, noting the unfamiliar faces that huddled near, then nodded in the direction of the cloaked figure. For a brief second she glanced over at her cousin to make sure he was still there before taking ahold of his hand and guiding him the rest of the way. “Any idea what’s going on?” she asked once she was close enough to her raven haired friend mindful not interrupt anyone else's conversation.

Sailor Skoll

Okay well she didn't quite believe the cloaked figure's sob story, though the pain in his voice made it some what believable. The whole group was tense, many of the ones huddled around the.. royals? were snippy and barking like fearful dogs. Maybe that was what it was about. They were scared, scared of this unknown entity which could, yes, kill them or torture them or what.

But, she felt no fear. A by product of being new, she supposed.

The senshi of the pack looked around the group and found a rather small pup among the crowd. Small being compared to her amazonian height. Everyone was small to her. Skoll peeled off the main group and went to stand near the chibi senshi, in a sort of protective fashion.

She crouched down to introduce herself. "I'm Sailor Skoll. Thought you could use a bit of cover in case cloaked dude goes crazy," she said with a smile. She had no candy to offer in peace, but maybe she'd appreciate someone standing with her at least.

Chibi Iduna

Iduna looked up at Castor, trying to gage the Prince's reaction to the whole thing before making her own opinion. This was unknown territory for Iduna, and while she saw many another chibi in the group, she felt rather alone in all this. Sticking with the big Prince guy was the best option.

She did not know who this Beryl was, she didn't really know what this Metallia was, and she really wanted to know why a dude probably thousands of years old was still a functional walking person.

Castor spoke of people long since dead and then spoke down to her. She nodded at him, looking over at the white haired woman she remembered from New Years last year. She scurried off to go stand next to Hvergelmir.

"Prince Castor sent me over to stand with you," she said in a quieter voice, tucking herself ever so slighty behind the cosmos knight. Better safe than sorry.

Valhalla

Valhalla loved his wife. He really did. But sometimes she said things that shocked him, especially since they might have the opportunity to ally themselves with someone who wants to fight back against Metallia, and hopefully the very source of Chaos. So when Ganymede decided to be sassy about the unknown man not yet providing his name, he quickly reached out and clasped his hand over Ganymede’s mouth, throwing his other arm around her as if to restrain her from saying anything else that could potentially be very stupid. Not to mention embarrass him.

“What do you think you’re doing??” Valhalla asked in exasperation, and offering awkward smiles to anyone who might have seen the commotion.

He had yet to say or ask anything of the mysterious man, but instead watched him sadly. Perhaps if he had a chance to speak with him alone, things would make more sense, but at the same time he didn’t think that would be a possibility. Many others were speaking up and offering questions and information to move forward with negotiations, but he couldn’t help but feel a sense of dread.

What exactly did an opportunity to destroy the Negaverse mean? He didn’t want to kill them… but he also knew how naive his ideals were.

Slievenamon, Page of Neptune

Slieve had remained silent the entire time, trying to absorb as much of the conversation between the cloaked figure and the members of the group exchanging questions, answers, and, unfortunately, some hostilities with him. It was a bit of a feat; so many voices were clashing together that it formed a indecipherable cacophony in her ear at times. Still, she pulled through, and managed to glean a bit of information from them.

Apparently, the cloaked figure was... Old. Quite old. Thousands of years, to be exact. And he talked of a treaty? This caused her eyebrows to raise. This, obviously, wasn't something mandated by the government. At least, she thought it wasn't.

When her mind reeled back from her thoughts, she noticed the throng around Phact had enlarged. She gave a quick glance to Cetus and nodded in greeting should he happen to look her way, but nothing more. She bid the same to Sidouer before returning her attention back to the main concentration of the group.

ARTHUR

The white guardian cat purred loudly at being petted, finding this all very exciting.

"Want me to check him out, Castor? I'm sure I can look at him a bit better." He offered before rising up to call out at the stranger.

"I'd help - but I don't know anything." He just wanted to be clear that he would help.

" - I mean, as long as you don't mean to hurt anyone here. You aren't, are you?"

"They're gonna need cover from me if they make trouble. Well... all of us. We have him totally outnumbered." The fifteen year old Senshi announced with confidence. She was still on the small side, but closer up, the lines of muscle under her skin were more visible, though most of these were from continued study of Ballet. If nothing else, she had confidence.

"I'm Syrma." She repeated. "The cat is Ballard, who should not be left unattended around food." She turned her head enough to try and glare at the Sphynx nestled in her hood, who winked one bright green eye at Skoll, and add a cheerful "Yo." to the conversation.

"Who are you?" Syrma continued deliberately jostling the hood with the nearly hairless Guardian cat in it, so that he jumped down with a grumble, something about getting muck on his 'classy threads'. "And who's the weird guy up front? The one with the black wings and the attitude? What's he mean 'not aligned' with the Moon Queen?" She hadn't heard a lot about the politics, but she hadn't heard anything about other ... empires? Kingdoms? Whatever... but this guy talked like everyone was supposed to have heard of him.

Alexandria

"Tell me you're not surprised by that though, Ganymede. We've seen it before..." Alexandria mumbled, joining the group. Some people had been through so much, they would jump at any chance that perhaps something would go right for them for once.

"Now they'll trip head over heels for him. Do anything for him in a last ditch effort to some how change things." Alexandria wasn't all too surprised that this person wanted something from them before he did anything in turn. "I just hope this doesn't turn into a blood bath.. like before. We can't have another incident like that..."

Maybe he was being a little too harsh. Maybe this person really was here in peace and meant them no harm. But Alex wasn't willing to give him the benefit of the doubt this time.

"He's fine Themi. It's under control... You don't have to worry about it." He mumbled quietly, moving next to his friend.

Sailor Lacrimosa

Lacrimosa could not suppress a shudder at the intensity of the gaze that was turned to her, instinctively pushing the two younger senshi behind her. The gaze was not threatening, searching maybe a little deeper then she would have liked, but something just did not want her girls to be subject to that same piercing stare.

They didn't need to be any more nervous then they were.

"What is it you're looking for?" she asked him, unwilling to ignore how searching the intense look had been. She didn't expect an answer.

Brown eyes stared back at the man, watching him and his reactions to the others. She felt almost bad for him, hearing that he'd been betrayed. It seemed the Negaverse was good at things like that. How many had been tricked by the evil queen?

This almost sounded like a fairy tale.

And like most fairy tales when a mysterious figure asked you a favor in return for something (power usually, go figure), it tended to end badly.

"While I am not in the business of revenge," not that she didn't still want some sort of revenge herself. "I suppose the better question is what it is exactly you want of us? What you want us to do?"

A pause and a frown.

"And what is this power you offer." Because that too could be something of a trick? Or just as dangerous. Everything came with a price and there would be no telling what this power he was offering could do to those who tried to wield it.

"I want to help but I won't do so blindly, not when there are so many worth protecting. Not when I have so many of importance to protect."
