After being dragged back to the hivestream, the purpleblood had all she needed to start putting the picture together. The things she saw and the things she had were all abstract in a way, but she knew they had a connection. Something made them important. Eridia was able to find Azrael amongst the crowd. Whether she approached him or not, the blueblood would still be with them. Was it worth going towards them if they were just going to shoo her off?
Since when did she gave a ******** got another refreshment before thinking about her clues and waved at him with a semi-honest smile and approached her trusty servant. "Hey. Hope you don't make a fool of yourself with these losers." She smirked and looked at the other darkly especially at the pair that got her hurt last time. "Lee, Psy... You two look sweeeell." She took a sip of her drink and moved some stray hair from her face. The child noticed her hands smelled a bit like liquor due to one of her last investigations. "How's your mouth?" She smirked at the blueblood then looked at Psygki. "Really entertaining fight, you would've loved it!" Eridia laughed bitterly.
Back at the central hivestem, Kursha ruminated over his findings. He sure had a lot to think about it! It was too bad that earlier he had been too busy picking fights with children to properly consider things.

Alifax slipped back into the room just as...Awassi followed him in.
Strangely, Comedi and Rutven were missing. Well, now that he'd seen the state of every outgrowth, he knew that Rutven had been missing for a while. But that Comedi was missing was of a bit more interest. It was a pity the celebrities didn't seem to be speaking anymore, though.
He settled into a cushy chair near Kursha and flipped through his notebook slowly. It felt light, missing pages, but it wasn't like it was missing information.

"Hm?" She looked at the blueblood with a glazed look. She blinked herself back into reality. "Oh! Yes." Hemera smiled at that, already appearing delighted at the prospect of being involved. "Where is the group? Shall we go over? I have something that might-"
Then Eridia pranced along. Mera's mouth snapped shut and her expression turned quite blank. Not exactly a frown, but lacking anything genuine. She stayed out of it when the purpleblood addressed Azrael directly, only shooting him a look begging the question of if she was going to be a part of the group once Eridia's back was turned.
A troll could only take so much attitude in a short amount of time.
I'd like to get out my magnifying glass and smoking pipe. What: Leeroi's military coat note with Psykgi's Epratt coat note Where: Is this the same handwriting? And whose handwriting is it? How: Using his peepers
The handwriting on these notes do seem to match up! You're not sure who's handwriting it is though, as neither note is signed. Whoever wrote these is a clear mastermind. It does not seem to match either signatures in Leeroi's autograph book.

Where: Color of the glass compared to the guests' blood colors, specifically Gerard's. Testing the texture of the powder. How: Using his peepers AND his feelers
The purple glass shards do seem to be the same tint that you remember Gerard sporting. The black powder taste is hard to place, although if you had to guess you'd probably say ... something metallic? The flavor is very sharp and peppery. Maybe some sulphur ...? Some charcoal? Delicious.

Chiara Moteku xxxxxWatching Chiara was growing annoyed. No Hazmas nor Zindel were immediately coming into her sight. It looks like trolls were forming little groups to discuss the clues and facts they had gathered. Chiara had quite a pile herself, she hadn't written any of it down nor told anyone what she had learned. She was going to brainstorm on it with Hazmas, but looks like that was a lost cause. Chiara looked around as she received a nudge, and saw Eridia sneak away into the crowd. Did she want Chiara to fallow her? When Psykgi approached her, the blueblood lost sight of what she was looking for, getting distracted left and right. With Chiara's attention now on Psykgi, she shrugged. "Well cant find um, so i guess its a lost cause. Do you need help solving this case of culling?" Chiara grinned. She had clues. She was a valuable asset to any thinking group. It was when Eridia made her presence known that Chiara flinched a little. Groups and all were fine, but she would do anything to just sit and talk with Eridia, murder or no murder. Chiara looked Eridia in the eyes, trying to convey everything she felt in just a look.
Azrael opened his mouth to answer Mera but was stopped short by a frighteningly familiar voice. 'Not now, PLEASE not now' Azrael waved back. How could he not? He had a weird soft spot for Eridia, but she was bad news for the group and moving forward. Especially with Leeroi the self-appointed leader. That was not going to go over well. What was he going to do about this? Subterfuge never worked with Eridia, he would have to be very direct. But he didn't want her to get hurt. He wracked his young brain for solutions. "Yes, well if I make a fool of myself, then that wouldn't be out of the ordinary would it?" Azrael said jokingly to Eridia, trying to act natural while he felt like his brain was going to pop from the speed it was going.
When Eridia turned her attention to Psy and lee, Azrael felt a warning bell go off in his head. This wasn't good, this wouldn't lead to anything good. He leaned to Hemera so that he could talk to her quietly without Eridia hearing or noticing, "I'll find a way to take care of Eridia, having her and Leeroi in a group is bad news and would probably end up getting everything smashed, She might just be mad that I didn't go out of my way to look for her earlier," he bit his lip in thought. He didn't know Hemera's temper or how she was going to work with Lee, but he had to do something about Eridia. "Leeroi is the self-proclaimed leader of our group, find him I'll meet you over there, if he says anything that riles you up, take a step back and talk to me if you need to," With that quickly said he walked over to Eridia, "I'd love some refreshments, I've been so busy running around that I didn't think about it," he took the purpleblood's hand and tried to prompt her away from the group.
His thoughts whirred still, but nothing came to mind. Well he would have to just try his best here. "Eridia, I can't lie to you, If you're going to just antagonize the leader of our group, you're going to have to leave, we have a very important murder to figure out and if you're going to be over here, you need to be out of the way or helping," he winced inwardly. That was probably the hardest thing he'd had to do that night. He felt tears pricking his eyes. He cleared his throat to try to keep his deadpan expression. "We can talk later, but for right now, Eridia, please, we need some space to figure this out," He gave her a friendly pat on the shoulder, let go of her hand and turned to walk with Hemera.

Finally, she saw them. Without wasting another moment, Lorata rushed over towards Kursha and Alifax, looking around for the closest chair to them both and then on second thought dismissing it in favor of plopping onto the armrest of Kursha's chair. "There you are! Look, I found something by the armory! It's definitely a clue, right?" Brandishing the long-stemmed glass she'd found, she held it out for Kursha to see before twisting to present it to Alifax, making sure the green smudge at the rim was visible.
"I haven't figured out exactly what it means yet, though, but I will." She pulled it back, took an experimental sniff to see if she could determine what had been in the glass, then shrugged. "But do you want to hear everything else I learned? I want to hear all of yours too!" She started to kick her feet excitedly, but wobbled a little on her perch and quickly stopped before she really got started. "Most of mine's just from talking to people, though!"
She glanced between the two teens to gauge their opinions on this, and then, hushing her voice just enough to hopefully not carry to the adults, launched full force into recounting her gossip regardless. "You already know the first stuff I learned, because," she waved towards the wall, "but sometime after that I was talking to Erilyn and they told me some interesting things. Like umm, did you know Gerard's friends come and go a lot, to Chittentown apparently? And Mr. Comedi even told me he's been through five blackroms, and lots of them disappeared!" She gave a little gasp for dramatic effect before moving on.
"They told me some things about Mr. Comedi too though! They said he pinches beetles when he can, and even more importantly, they said he might be the real target of the killer! So once I heard that I went to find him to make sure he was alright! I found him in the trophy room with Mr. Ioyana, though, so he was okay after all. That's when he told me that thing about the blackroms. I had to come back here a little after that, but," Another dramatic pause, because the story got interesting here and she wanted to check that she still had their total attention.
"When I got there, they were gone, and the room was all broken up! Sarcel was there too, so maybe she saw more than me, but I left right away to tell Erilyn! Except they weren't where I'd left them either. But Mr. Comedi was in the training block when I looked, just kind of sick and not dead at all. He said the faygo was bad, I think," she peered curiously down at the glass again, then shrugged. "And that there'd been a mess but he'd cleaned it, annnd...That he and Erilyn got out of the military because things were changing."
She opened her mouth to continue, then paused, realizing she'd pretty much covered everything. She didn't really want to give up the attention yet though. Squinting, she thought about what else she'd done. "Other than that, I went down to the basement, but it wasn't very interesting at all. Just some big crates leaned against the wall, and...I guess the floor was kind of clean? I didn't look at the mutant, someone else was there."
And now she was really out of things to say. She took a couple of breaths, hummed, and then leaned towards Alifax. "What do you think?"

The bitter taste of wine fills your sniff cavities! The smudge of lipstain, on closer inspection, appears to match Erilyn's blood hue.
”Sure do!” Psykgi said cheerily, ”We're getting a group together, and we'd absolutely love your clues!” she gestured towards where the group was assembling, ”We've got a bunch already, but we could always use more! Get a sense of the big picture, you know?” she began to lead her over to the group...
And then... Eridia. Oh no. Go away. I don't want you in the collective. Psykgi mentally grumbled, then checked herself. Silly her, thinking of this as a collective! They were a knowledge sharing group, not a swarm! Goodness – clearly she needed to get out a little more, stop spending so much time alone with her lusus! Not that she spent very much time alone with Ma'am, but she certainly spent... enough.
”Oh gosh, I'm sure it was.” she said, smiling sharply at Eridia, ”And no, thanks. I'm Such a fan of sweet things, but I have so much candy at home! The holidays, you know. I'll save room for that, thanks... hmmm” Of course she had another reason, but that didn't mean that she couldn't mess with Eridia. Just a little. She picked up one of the roaches, stroking it thoughtfully. Should she, though? Or shouldn't she? She really wanted to, but if she threw it into Eridia's cup of faygo (and thus into the sweetest treat that any roach swarm could crave) would she piss Eridia off enough that she wouldn't go away?
It was too great a risk.
Fortunately, Azrael got to Eridia before Psykgi decided to toss Eridia a little present anyway, just for the sake of it, and Psykgi felt both dissappointed and appreciative. Hopefully, reason will keep her out of our horns Oh who was she kidding. Eridia? Reason? Ha.
”Anyway.” she turned to Chiara again, ”We're writing out a nice summarized list, by adult, in a notebook and seeing what is revealed when all the clues come together...” she clapped her hands together, sending the roach scurrying – along with some others, to her shoulder. ”This is all so fun, isn't it?” she gestured for Chiara to take a seat...
”Hmm, though. I see that the Juggalo and Gerard are not here. I wonder why... and how they got out...”

Azrael's joke made her suspicious, that was not like him at all. The child had a sinking feeling as she was escorted to the refreshment table. Her movements where stiff when she was taken away from the group. Didn't he want her there? Eridia knew she'd make things so interesting! She always tried to! While being taken away, the purpleblood noticed Chiara. Her expression pierced her like a dagger, she seemed sorry for what she had done. Eridia should just sit down and talk things out with her when the moment was appropriate. But she seemed so happy talking with Psygki, she wasn't going to do the first move. If Chiara wanted things to be fixed, she had to talk to her first.
"Eridia, I can't lie to you."
Was his starting sentence, the one that snapped her back to reality. How many times had she heard that sentence before? He was going to tell her something bad but she didn't know it was this bad. His previous actions gave it away. She knew something was up, she knew it, what was he going to say? Eridia's breathe in deeply waiting for his words, which stabbed her relentlessly, when he was defending Leeroi and didn't want her near the group. He didn't want her there. Was he implying she was useless if she wasn't going to give them her clues?
Her fists clenched and slightly trembled. She wanted to cry, she wanted to grab the nearest object and just kill him. Stab him, fork him, spoon him... Hell even throw her drink at him. Azrael wanted space, then she'll give it to him, permanently. She was now a loner and she didn't like it one bit. Eridia was going to give him his wish, not because Azrael asked her to stay away nor because she was going to force herself to enjoy the solitude but because she was tired and tried to blend with them before. They would continue to disappoint her with their expected responses. Including...
Once there was sufficient distance between them, Eridia opened her mouth to speak. He wasn't leaving with that last spoken words.“Let me tell you this: it was one thing to make a mistake; it was another thing to keep making it. I knew what would happened if I allowed myself get close to someone, when I started to believe they cherish you: I'd be disappointed." She bitterly laughed, pools forming in her eyes.
"Depend on someone, and you might as well admit you're going to be crushed, because when you really needed them," She looked at the other straight in the eyes. "they wouldn't be there. Either that, or you'd confide in them and you added yourself to their problems."
At least he was honest... too honest. Eridia was going be be completely honest as well. Now that she was alone, she didn't have to worry about anyone crossing her since, "All I ever really had was myself...." She paused, convincing herself to contain her tears.
"...and that sort of sucked.... knowing that you were less than reliable.” Eridia turned away and took another drink, heading to one of the empty seats to begin examining closely her clues. Hell she hope one of them would help those idiots in any way. She wasn't giving anyone anything.

"I'll keep the 'self-proclaimed' aspect in mind." Hemera said in regards to Leeroi, before Eridia said her piece; once she was somewhat sure that the drama between Az and Eridia had died down, Mera watched the purpleblood go, unable to tear her eyes away for a second. Despite her misgivings, she did feel a twinge of pity. Were they all rejecting her? Yes, that must hurt. Mera felt a little guilty, even. Her nerves were just not up to dealing with Leeroi, Eridia, and whatever egging on Psykgi and Chiara might toss in.
If she didn't have this piece of evidence to explore, she might have even gone after Eridia. But for now, she would just have to remember to talk to her later.
For now, she continued on with Azrael. "I'm...not sure what is going on with you two, but I'm sorry. For being a part of the problem. You two seem very close and I wish you could work together." But that likely couldn't happen; she had seen the explosive events in Four Fronds, after all. "Do you need a minute?"
------
Eventually, after the situation was settled, she would take her place at the table after dealing with Azrael. Mera took a breath, let it out. Calm the nerves. Focus.
"Hello again," she gave everyone a polite smile. "Furore. Good to see you're on your two feet. Everyone's accounted for? Oh, excellent. I've also noticed some suspect trolls that really should be accounted for have gone missing, so... Yes. Good that we're all still here. Anyway."
She presented what she had heard. "Ioyana said the mutantbloods might have been planted; Gerard's only comment on the matter was that one of them smells like citrus. Rutven and Ioyana did not seem to like each other, only having negative comments for each other. Ioyana said Rutven seemed to want something from Awassi and Comedi; Rutven thinks Ioyana's crew is full of deserters." She paused. "And Rutven thought Ioyana invited himself. I spoke to Awassi in the last hour. They seemed exhausted, especially about their moirail. They mentioned how hard it was to take care of his 'little moments'. From what I understand, Comedi might have been taking advantage of the relationship for money?" Hemera kept an even tone, trying not to toss in any commentary or outside opinions. Nothing uninformed. Or, really, gossip about relationships. Yikes, yikes, yikes.
"Now, before Rutven went missing, he was looking a bit anxious in the ballblock. I saw him, talked to him then, and later after he was gone, asked Awassi about it. They said he was reportedly trying to find out why the ball hadn't been at his hive." With that, she had to add her own input. "I think it's interesting that considering the night's events, he was possibly asking after that; Awassi said his hive was dark and creepy. Considering, if what happened here had happened there instead... I don't know. It just seems like an odd thing to worry about in the middle of an investigation."
She had clasped her hands together during that presentation. "The final information I received was that Awassi was not upset about the victim's passing. However, they did look...sad about not being able to care. If that may mean anything."
Mera then shrugged and diverted her hands to pull the pursed off her shoulder. "I'm not sure what to make of what I heard; it was all hearsay and gossip, from what I can tell. However, I got this." She put the purse on the table. It was velvet with purple trimming. "I was in the ballblock, while Awassi was still there too; someone had been standing behind the curtains at some point and left this on the floor. There were imprints next to it that show someone hadn't just dropped this while looking around earlier. There are items inside, but I'm not sure what to make of them at this point. Vials of liquid, powders, pendants. I'd feel like I'm snooping, but the situation is so odd that I have to wonder..."

You set to work, taking notes on where the coordinates correspond to locations on Alternia. The result yields an interesting pattern. The points of interest on Alternia are evenly spread out from each other, both on land and sea. The coordinates for major cities (of which there are one each) are underlined. It appears whoever was doing this work set out to evenly chart the planet and chose appropriate locations to do so.

Looking with your sightstalks results in noting that the purse is of fine quality. It is a simple and subtle bag on the outside. The contents are more intriguing. The glass vials of showcase the colorful, dark liquids. One of the glass vials is empty, but still stained from its previous liquid substance which was a rich ochre color. The liquids look to be thicker than water. The powder contained in separate vials are all similar hues of chalky whiteness, and leave a dusty residue on the sides of their glass containers. The pendants are gilded and quite reflective.
