He burrowed down into the blankets and pillows, turning his head to look at Otto, a little smile on his face.
"I think it'd be pretty cool, guitars are awesome," said Chance, a hand reaching to idly toy with a strand of Otto's hair. "You play the drums ******** fantastically, maybe you could pick up guitar too."
He hummed a little, and then said, "I picked up a violin the other day, to see if I could play it."

Guitar. He could buy one, if he wanted. Buy books and teach himself. There was no reason not to. In fact, it could be fun. It'd be easier to sing along to songs while playing a guitar rather than to his own drumming. Well, not easier, but different. Especially if he wanted to play something mellow. "Oh yeah?" He asked of Chance's violin, his brows raising curiously. "So... how bad was it?" He may have been smirking.

He loved the musical aspect of Otto, because it was such a defining trait to him that Chance couldn't quite see him without it. Where Chance had art and astronomy, Otto had drums and music.
He gave Otto a pointed look. "Terrible, of course," said Chance, however, and laughed. "I played like, twice in elementary school, and I sounded like a dying cat."
A grin touched his lips. "But it was kinda fun anyway."

Otto grinned widely. "Glad I missed it." He teased with a short laugh. But he was smiling because Chance had fun, despite the rough start. "When I first started learnin' drums, my teacher kept tellin' me I played like a spilled crate of pots and pans fallin' down the steps."

He grinned, relaxing against the covers. "I'm sure that was entertaining to watch," said Chance with a laugh. "I tried playing violin as a kid, but my mother threw away the violin I had. Granted, I'd stolen it from school, but that's beside the point."
His fingers fluttered a little in Otto's hair. "But, who knows, maybe I'll be able to pick up a new talent. Or not."

"Ain't any such thing as talent." Otto murmured, cuddling in close. "Only hard earned skill."

"Spoken like a true Otto," said Chance affectionately. "But you're right, come here, you."
He rolled over and wrapped his arms fully around Otto, pressing his lips to his forehead gently.
"It's been a good first date, I think."

Otto basked in the embrace, squeezing Chance back almost comically before settling again. "Pretty good, I guess." He teased with false nonchalance.

"Oh, just pretty good," Chance deadpanned. He pushed a hand into Otto's face.
"I see how it is, b*****d."

He grinned, dragging his hand away to give it a little shake of indignation.
"Gross," said Chance, but he leaned over and kissed Otto, smiling against his lips.
"And I love you too. Even if you're a s**t."
