Aldrich Brandt " We need to try again." He pointed the remote, starting the song over again. " You missed six steps. Practice makes perfect." He didn't say that he also didn't have anything else for them to do. At least he could use this time to think of another activity.

Pfft, he was pretty sure that waiting three hundred years made him more than ready. Aldrich BrandtAldrich smirked teasingly. " Aww, are you asking me out?" he joked, tempted to poke Earle's cheek and mock him. Resisting his childish desires, the businessman nodded. " Alright, I'll go with you. Here, let's stop for now." He stopped the dance, pausing the music and stepping back. " Why don't you pick me up in two hours? I may as well get dressed nice if I'm going to a fancy ball."

" You didn't hear a thing I said, did you?" he said thinly, though he wasn't too bothered by it. Give the man his motivation and leave it at that, although he was wondering what Aldrich was going to do that would require them stopping now when they wouldn't stop for the king needing to get ready. Whatever. Two hours was plenty of time to get ready. Without uttering a goodbye, he walked out, planning everything in his mind. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Aldrich BrandtAldrich didn't care much for a goodbye, rubbing a hand over his beard with a sigh. Well, a ball was a good reason to shave. Of course, didn't mean he had to like it. Without his beard, he looked like a ten year old, maybe even younger than Alan. Only thing that kept him looking like himself was his height and hair. Oh, who cared? " Don't even like it, anyway," he told himself, walking into the bathroom.

King Earle"Long live the king."━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━~~~Two hours had passed when the front door opened. " Aldrich!" Earle called out as he looked around. His black jacket and, well, entire black outfit had transformed into a magnificent white gown with a coat that fluttered with every step and a glimmering ruby atop his elegant cravat. His hair was smoothed back but not completely tamed, and a few strands fell over the white mask that covered the upper half of his face. In a way, he gave off a mysterious yet charming air. Except now. Right now he was impatient. " Hurry before we're late!" he called out once more. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Aldrich Brandt " I'm coming, I'm coming!" called the man as he stood in his bedroom, rubbing on his special occasion cologne that he'd worn only twice before. He tied on his mask, then started into the living room. " This mask isn't completely easy to get on without accidentally tying my hair." He shook his head, then looked up to take in Earle's appearance. He himself looked dashing and much younger in a black suit with a black tie, black shoes, and a black and grey patterned shirt. It was very different from his usual day suits, but not an unwelcome change. His mask itself was black with turquoise and aqua finishings, as well as diamonds placed about it. The biggest change, however, was his face. Aldrich had shaved off all of his facial hair, instantly looking years younger. His hidden baby face was handsome and sweet-looking, the only sign left of his age being his bright green eyes and the occasional wrinkle on his face. He smiled at Earle, hands in his pockets. " You look really good, but I don't think we really match. If you want, I can change really fast into something else." He pointed over his shoulder, already preparing to walk back to the bedroom. It wouldn't take long to change, since he only needed the extra time to shave.

His surprise returned when that man spoke with Aldrich's voice. " Who would have thought a haircut was all it took to make you look like a completely different person?" he said as he looked down at the approaching host. " Honestly, you look ten years younger." He followed the point to the bathroom when talked about their outfits, then shook his head lightly. " No need. We'll share a dance now and then, but my focus will be on Heinrich. Maybe you can find an extra lover or two while there?" he suggested with a shrug. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Aldrich BrandtHe bent down to grab his wallet from the side table. " That's why I don't usually shave. I look younger than I am, and I don't like that." Aldrich shrugged, looking away at the suggestion. He didn't really want a lover, didn't want to even go anymore, but it wouldn't hurt to at least flirt around. " Alright then, let's go. Where is this party?" he asked.

Earle said with a suspicious grin on his face as he said that. Blue fog surrounded his arms as he looked around for a spacious area. When he found it, he stretched out his arms and fired off the fog like a gun. It landed on the floor and swirled around itself until a door sprouted out with a golden frame and an inside that resembled a starry sky. " Germany." Earle answered as he lowered his arms, which had returned to normal. " This door will take us there, but it won't last long. Hurry." he ushered and motioned for Aldrich to go first. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

He was back to his black coat and unimpressive clothes, though they too had blood on them from the nosebleed he had barely managed to control. Still, though, he continued pinching his nose closed. " You've had an attitude change since the ball. What? Did that woman you danced with say something?" ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Aldrich BrandtAldrich only glared, crossing his arms and walking into the living room. Unlike Earle, he still wore his ball attire, since he wasn't magical in any way. Loosening the tie and opening his jacket, the man didn't look very happy, clearly agitated. After Earle brought up the woman he had been dancing with at the time of the not-so epic battle, he spun to face Earle and poked his chest with his index finger. " I went to have a nice time, to meet some new people and maybe mingle with a king a little less f-cking batsh-t. Instead, said f-cking batsh-t king gets into a fight with a cross-dresser who he happens to be in love with and ruins any potential to get any of those women that I danced and flirted with into bed! So now, I've got a suit that I hardly ever wear because I like it so much covered in champagne and blood, an archduke's daughter who won't even look at me anymore, and BLUE. BALLS." He jabbed his thumb in the direction of his pants, a large lump now obvious in the less crowded room. " So right now, Earle, I'm trying very hard not to do something incredibly unpleasant to you. So just drop the damn ball, get us some whiskey to drink, and I'm going to change into something that makes my boner less obvious!"
