This time he came back prepared a bit more than he had the previous two times. He gave his hands a quick rub together before taking hold of the handles, hanging in there long enough to earn himself a nod and a ticket this time.

He really should just take his victory and quit while he was ahead, but Arrakis couldn't help giving it one last go. He'd been quite pleased with what he'd won, and it had taken a reasonable bit of internal debate to convince himself to try again, but try again he did. When he was back up to Ignatius, he laughed and grabbed hold of each of the rods. "I don't know when to quit, sometimes," he joked, poking good-natured fun at himself.
A few moments later, he hissed and pulled his hands back, laughing. "Okay, okay! Quitting is now. Quitting is now." Getting up, he chuckled and thanked Ignatius for his time.

Lock sighed as he let go of the handles. He was officially done- he just couldn't take it anymore.

One more try. One last test of mettle, or skill? Judas held on for dear life. One hand jerked away but he made sure at least one stayed on there. Period. His time wasn't too bad? Maybe?

Surprisingly enough, the incubus' tail did do better than his hands were doing, holding out for a longer time than his hands had ever done.
"Well jackdamn," Ignatius laughed. "There seems to be quite the strength in that tail of yours! Have you done strength training with that?" Is that a thing creeple with tails did? How was Ignatius supposed to know, he didn't really know anyone with a tail. Well, except for the creeple whom he had met through this carnival, he supposed.
The monster ghoul who he had given the minipet to seemed rather pleased, enough to give him a ribbon which she put in his hair despite him not making any requests for her to. It didn't matter. He loved it. (Maybe Ignatius just had a thing for gifts.) "No problem! I'm glad you like the minipet!"
As he was repositioning the ribbon so it would tie his hair in the back, another reattemptee made it to the booth and tried again. She actually managed to win this time, so he suspected she was getting better -- but this was the last few hours of the booth, and she still had not won the minipet. "Congratulations! You win the ticket! And for your improvement, you can have a minipet too!" He handed her one of the puffballs, all-too-happy to give away another one.
The next person managed to win as well, probably because he was a bit more prepared. He rubbed his hands together and seemed determined, determined enough to win! "Congratulations! You get a ticket."
Finally, he saw the return of two popular reapers, one that was dressed in shadows and another who ... honestly looked fairly normal. Did reapers have a normal, though? Maybe he'd blend in well with humans.
Of course, the electricity was just too much for them.
He won.

The Booths are all closing, due to the end of Summer Halloweenfest nearing. Rei checked the few open booth for last-time playing...
When a familiar elemental called him.
Oh you're so on.
Once again tightening his grip on the conductor handles, he gritted his ghostly teeth ZAP!
Too bad, he still can't take the shock.
FAIL.

"Strength training?" Nova echoed, he didn't think he did anything odd with it. It reacted to his emotions flicking and twinging about, but when he thought about it he could use it like it was a third hand. "No, but I use it to do lots of things... picking up stuff." He sat the rods down, they toppled over. "Heh, harder to do holding them both at once." He sighed looking out at the growing dusk. "Looks like the carnival is closing soon. I've," He paused, "had fun here."

Hmm... picking up things could be a form of heavy lifting. Was he weight-training, perhaps? That sounded like a way to build up strength in one's ... tail. Might explain how he was able to do so much more awesomely with his tail than his hands, for certain. "Hey, any kind of lifting can be strength training, in my opinion."
To the incubus' remarks on the carnival slowing down, Ignatius smiled. "Yeah, it's closing down, I think." He moved to get some of the curtains to put over the booth, the music player ... mysteriously turning itself off in the process, or so it seemed. "It's been really fun to run this booth and I'm glad you had fun, Nova! That means the carnival did its job..."
