"I've seen cuter," he teased. Nicholas rubbed his eyes a little more and slowly closed the door over, locking it. Kate blamed him for her nightmares which made him chuckle. "Because I put a gun to your head and forced you to watch it with me, right?" The male smirked, his blue eyes only half open as he looked at her. Besides the faint moon light that was shining through the transparent curtains, the room was pitch black. His eyebrows furrowed at her silly offer, eyes gazing into the girls blue ones. "You don't have to sleep on the couch, Eeyore. We can share my bed." The man smirked before walking back into his bedroom and shrugging off his robe, letting it hang off the hook on his door. He laid down on his side and began to play with his phone once more, propping up his head as he waited for Kate to accompany him. His short hair was a bit of a mess, though definitely not as messy as it would have been if Kate didn't cut it.

  Kate rolled her eyes when he said that he saw cute,she looked at him before laughing. "Yeah that's what you did." Of course she was being sarcastic with him,her bright eyes looked at him as he stood there.He looked a bit tired and his hair was a bit messy which was really cute. "Are you sure about it?" Kate watched Nick who walked back to his bedroom,she looked around in the dark room.In the end she decided to walk to Nick's bedroom,she sat on the edge of her bed and looked at him.Kate placed her legs on the bed before she laid down and placed the pillow behind her bed,she also covered herself with the blanket."Good night Nick." She smiled gently at him then slowly closed her eyes but after a moment she opened them again,she just couldn't fall asleep..Kate glanced at Nick and saw that he was playing with his phone so she just watched him.

Nicholas lifted his gaze from his phone to watch Kate walk in, the corner of his mouth pulling up into a little smirk. Of course she wouldn't want to be left alone in the dark. The girl covered herself up with the blankets and nuzzled her face into the pillow, murmuring a "good night Nick". "Night." He said softly, returning his eyes to his phone once she closed her eyes. He could feel a pair of eyes on him so he slowly raised his blue eyes to look at Kate, raising his eyebrows when he saw that she was watching him. He smiled some. "What?" He said, voice low and sleepy. Kate looked especially adorable right now, with her Eeyore hood over head and the side of her face pressed into the pillow, a few strands of shiny blonde hair sitting innocently on her smooth cheek. The man's gaze twitched between her beautiful baby blues expectantly.

Her lips curled into a small smile as she watched him with her bright eyes,feeling happy. Kate was really happy because Nick let her in,if he didn't agree to take her in then she'd just stay awake for the whole night. Sadly she couldn't fall asleep here either,even thought Nick was laying next to her. Kate was tired and the only thing she wanted now was to sleep! "I can't fall asleep.." She said,pouting as she looked into his beautiful eyes."Can you sing me a lullaby? And uh...touch my hair like I did to you?" Kate felt nervous because she asked that from Nick,maybe she was bothering him too much.After all he was sleepy too!

Kate said that she couldn't fall asleep, pouting cutely. She then asked him if he could strike her hair and sing her a lullaby, which made him raise a brow. After a moment, Nick said in a fake annoyed voice, "fine..." With a warm smile, he scooted closer to the girl and pushed her hood back, running his fingers slowly through her tangle-free hair. He continued this as he thought about what he could sing her, head propped up as he looked down at her with an inquisitive expression. Finally, he took a soft breath in and began singing "Everlong" by one of his favourite bands, Foo Fighters. His voice was smooth and husky as he sang, and he almost sounded like the bands lead singer, Dave Grohl, in a way. Nicholas continued to brush his fingers through her long blonde hair. "And I wonder, when I sing along with you, if everything could ever feel this real forever. If anything could ever be this good again.." he finished then, gazing into her eyes. A smile touched his lips as he pulled the covers up on their bodies a little more and slid a leg in between hers, curling a hand around the back of her thigh before pulling it up on his hip. "Sleepy yet?" He asked, his face only inches from hers.

At first Kate thought that she annoyed Nick but once she saw his smile she knew that it was alright. She moved closer to him and let him touch her blonde smooth hair,it relaxed her when Nick brushed his fingers through her hair and started to sing 'Everlong'. She heard about that song before,it was really good.Plus Nick had a husky and smooth voice,he sounded very good! Kate closed her eyes and listened to him,she was becoming sleepy.When asked if she was sleepy,Kate was already asleep.Her head was tilted closer to Nick and her hands were close to her chest as she laid next to Nick.

Nick fell asleep shortly after Kate did. His eyes slowly opened the following morning and his grumpy morning persona flew right out the window once he saw Kate's beautiful sleeping face. He simply lied there on his side, just watching her sleep for a few minutes before he lifted a hand and pushed it gently through her hair just like he did the night before. Nick really had fun with Kate last night, and he was glad that she was finally warming up to him. That they were warming up to each other. Since it was so early, Nicholas curled his arm around her waist once more and then nuzzled his face into her exposed neck, closing his eyes.

While Kate was asleep she curled her arm around Nick,both of them laid very close to each other.In the morning she stayed asleep,Kate enjoyed to sleep on Nick's bed because it was comfortable and soft.She laid there for a few good hours until she slowly opened her eyes,she rubbed her eyes with her hands before looking over at Nick who curled his arm around her waist and nuzzled into her neck.Her lips curled into a sleepy smile before she brushed her fingers against his short hair."Good morning."She called softly,letting out a small yawn.

He felt Kate's fingers run through his hair and it made him smile, eyes still closed. "Mmm. Good morning," he mumbled into the crook of her neck. With his arm still curled around her waist, Nick rolled them over so that she was on top. He kissed her neck playfully and then rested his head back against his pillow, looking up at her through dazed and dreary eyes. "I still say you look beautiful in the morning." He smiled and reached up to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear.

Her cheeks turned pink when Nick rolled them over and started to kiss her neck."Nick!" They just woke up and he was already kissing her? She shook her head to the side and flicked his forehead gently,smiling at him. Kate looked into his eyes,her hands rested on his chest as they stared at each other."Thank you." She smiled and lowered her head down for a moment,Nick could make her feel shy so easily! "Let me treat you again,I will make breakfast." She said as she slowly sat up on him."But I won't ruin it again,promise!" She clasped her hands together before she got off of him and headed to the kitchen,letting the tail dangle behind her.♥ ¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´

After Kate scolded him for kissing her neck she flicked him lightly in the forehead and that made him blink and furrow his eyebrows. "Ow.." he mumbled, though it didn't really hurt him. Her cheeks went pink when he complimented her looks as she lowered her head, placing her small hands on his chest. Was little miss Katie-Cakes catching the feels? 'Cause Nick sure as hell knew he was. His lips curled up into a smile when she offered to make him breakfast and he let out a soft sigh when she got off him. "I'm having a difficult time believing that, but alright." He teased, craning his neck to watch her walk off into the kitchen with her tail dragging on the floor behind her. "How about you treat me in bed?" He called, then quickly realized how wrong and perverted that sounded. "I mean, what I meant to say was, how about you give it to me in bed?" Dammit, that sounded even worse. "I mean, f*ck... breakfast in bed!" He finally just blurted, burying his face into one of his pillows. Usually he was always so smooth with the ladies and Kate knew that first hand, and now here he was fumbling over his words like an idiot. Nicholas mentally cursed himself, letting the pillow rest on top of his face as he let his arms sprawl out on the bed.

This time she will show that she can make a great breakfast! Maybe some pancakes and toasts,yes she will make it. When she entered into the kitchen she could still hear Nick,treat him in bed? Kate raised her eyebrow then frowned when he asked if she could give it to him in bed. It sounded so wrong and Kate started to think that he was being a pervert until he meant to have breakfast in bed. She tried to hold herself from laughing but then she just started to laugh,knowing that Nick probably heard her. Usually Nick spoke smoothly and flirty but today it didn't work out."Breakfast in bed sounds good." Nicholas could hear Kate laughing at him and it made his cheeks flush in embarrassment, however she agreed to his idea of breakfast in bed and that put a smile on his face. He decided to lay there and wait for Kate to bring out the food and drinks, as he was way too lazy and unmotivated to get up or do anything for that matter in such an early hour. It was only just after 8:00 and he wasn't supposed to wake up until 9:30. Rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, Nick reached over to his nightstand for his contact lenses case and then popped them in, blinking and rolling his eyes a couple times to shift them into place. Finally, he decided to get out of bed and brush his teeth before meeting Kate in the kitchen. He leaned sideways against the counter, smiling down at the blonde for a moment as he watched her cook. "So, I think you should probably let me kiss you good morning right about now." He pressed his lips together and nodded his head.

`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸♥ While the pancakes were cooking,Kate started to make two toasts.One for Nick and the other one for her,she hummed softly as she prepared the delicious meal for them.Kate just hoped that the meal will be delicious because she wants to prove Nicholas that she can cook! Soon Nick walked into the living room and leaned against the counter,Kate looked at him for a second then looked back.She flipped the pancakes and placed some fo the pancakes on the plate.When Nick mentioned a kiss,Kate turned around to face him."Hell no, I haven't brushed my teeth yet."She said,poking his nose with the spoon that had some flour on it."Now go take care of Oscar."
