Of course he knew that she was right, eventually he would have to make himself known to them, to everyone, again, but that was easier said than done. It took all he had to confront Shira, when he didn't even plan on meeting her again, or rather, not on this day. Yet, here they are, attending a party hosted by her family and once again partnered up. Everything happened so fast and now he is being confronted with yet another similar situation with Eric and the others. "Shira, I would be happy even if you are the only one that knows I'm alive." he would say before placing his hand on top of hers. "You know, I may have grown stronger without you, but with you, I seem to have regained a sense of self." Raising Shira's hand up, Kain would gently kiss the back of her palm, before looking back at the city as well. "Walking back into everyone's lives isn't as simple as it seems, though."

Thinking over all of the things that he and his friends had been through, Kain thought that it would be a shame to just let it all go away and act like it never happened. This was the same way he thought of Shira, but clearly, things turned out rather well in that area. "I guess, that now would be the best time to reconnect or at the very least, let them know that I am alive. I owe them all that much." Kain glanced over at Shira. As he did, the aura that he placed around himself vanished and within seconds, his presence could be felt once more. The feel of his spiritual energy, his scent and his soul wavelength, all of it, became visible to any and all who could sense them. "I hope they aren't upset with me." he would say before turning around and looking into the room, "Well, might as well get to it."

Not really payingmuch attention to the casked, Zoey smiled.
"No biggie..."
Stated for "no problem" according to her.
"I was invited by some classmates, they said the party would be a nice place to chill out. Thankfully I found one of them. He's right over there"
She replied while pointing at Lucas who got by the table of snacks. Probably he was hungry and decided to drift of by there once he realized Zoey was okay.

Zoey was just a bit confused with the way Yosuzume spoke just now. But payed not much attention, perhaps it was the way she talked. "No biggie".
Giving just a little more thought to Yosuzume's words she smiles and finally replies.
"I suppose you're right. If I had that many classmates. Usually I only take a few courses. While I do attend school I don't work under the shinigami. I have my own convictions and as long as I see the shinigami's actions as rightful I will support them with everything I've got. Mom used to told me to follow my own path and I plan to keep my word."

However I've been graced by their many people who've shown their kindness to me."
Zoey stated, in both her life and Atticus's.
"I can't say I'm the kind of person to be immersed in the social media. So I've not heard about those the institution had hurt. I only live the present, my present so to speak. It may be a short and small picture, but it's mine none the less."
Zoey would take a look at Yosuzume, mother was also a good drinker. But the weapon thought that it was just a coincidence. It had to be. There was no way that lady and her were blood related.

To her credit what she was drinking was very tasty,and kept her calm. Your very fortunate then. Maybe if I'd been like you....my life might have turned out different. The past is something I can by no means ignore. By the way you keep staring at me. What's wrong? Yosuzume smiles at Zoey. By now she could tell Zoey was a weapon,but she didn't seem very strong. Zoey replied wondering if Yosuzume would actually be different if she was to be like her. That would also apply to Zoey, would she had been any different if she were to behave like Yosuzume was?
Her train of thought had a rough stop tho, once Yosuzume landed the topic of Zoey's curious gaze upon the witch.
"I-I'm sorry..."
She replied with an apologetic vow.
"It's nothing ... just... well... please don't take this wrong... but I saw a picture when mother was younger... you... look a lot like her back then."

While I might be older than my appearance suggest I've only ever been compared to my own mother. Not that I'm insulted or anything. What kind of person was she? Zoey smiles as Yosuzume as she apologized by her reaction.
"She was kind, but always cautious. She also spent many hours of her days studying magic. Saying something about fragments that connect eras. I wasn't the smartest child so I payed little attention to it. But she seemed to be delighted by every improvement on her work even if it was minimal."
Zoey explained.
