Current Mission
With the arrival of Isabelle, Cecil's motley crew had finally been completed. With Cecil at the head of the group, their roster currently consisted of Shinya, Isabelle, and Mayumi. It was a unique setup, to say the least. He had seen very few squad combinations in which the kunoichi had equal numbers with the shinobi. He was concerned however with the lack of support capability from the current members. Between a samurai, an elemental, an assassin, and a ninjutsu specialist there was little support being taken into consideration. While a strong offense was considerably useful, the group was a glass cannon. "Well Cecil, you have indeed assembled the squad. It seems you already have a mission in mind. That meeting is unwise to go into attendance. The majority of you are genin and that is clearly a trap. Let him wait for you and waste his time. Your objective is to clear out some of these missions on the mission board." Turpis did not like the sound of the arrangement. It was the obvious makings for a trap and he was none to keen on sending genin's to their deaths. The squad had been given their directive. Start clearing off that message board.

Mayumi seemed to be thinking things over as the Kage addressed the nearby chunin. It seemed she was being reassigned temporarily. She was comfortable as a 2 man team with the jonin and didnt know how she would fare in a full cell. "Im not sure if my Jonin will be happy, but I will go with your team for the time being...what was your name sensei? Cecil was it?" She asked, shaking her head and looking confused by everything now that she had given her report. She wasn't specifically addressed and didnt know exactly what to say when there was no response to a report so she waited for the time being. Her eyes scanned over the other various genin in the room. The girl in particular was interesting as she seemed agitated, and her eyes didnt show the usual life of eyes. She had seen this in her Jonin's eyes; the girl was blind. She pushed it out of her head for the time being and turned her eyes back to the kage as she said they were to go on missions. She continued to wait in silence for the moment.

"Stay Frosty"
Kaijuu's ears perked when he heard the kage speak. "Ah, there is the man I need to speak to" Kaijuu mused now making contact with the man before him that was obviously in command. Kaijuu slipped through the crowd coming to a halt in front of the kage. Kaijuu stood a measly four foot eleven and was dwarfed by the six foot four inch kage before him. His neck angled back a bit so he could properly look at the man. "Good day, my name is Kaijuu Hoshigaki" The boy spoke with an unnaturally phlegmatic tone. He dipped his head slightly in a sign of respect acknowledging the man before him as his superior.
"I have come for my headband and hopefully an assignment of some sort" The boy spoke bluntly not wanting to waste this mans time. Kaijuu knew full well that his kage was certainly busy and the last thing he wished to do was to hold him up with playful banter and small talk.

Kaijuu Hoshigaki. The whole name was unfamiliar to the Mizukage, and yet the latter was oddly familiar. He had read about it somewhere in his studies, but the exact nature of the being that wielded it eluded him. The clone dispelled the fanciful nature of thoughts on the boy's name for the time being. Judging from his lack of a headband on his person, Turpis ascertained that he was fresh out of the Academy. Oddly enough he seemed more mannerly than the usual stock that crossed through the threshold oh his office. For someone that appeared to be so young that was a trait that Turpis found appealing. The boy continued on to ask for a mission and his headband. For one so ready to put themselves to work, Turpis was happy to oblige. The clone reached beneath the desk and withdrew the steel plated headband that was lined with black cloth. "Kaijuu huh. I would say that I am Turpis, your Mizukage. Alas, I am but a clone. But tell you what. I do have some work for you. Your fellow shinobi have assorted themselves into squads. I want you to go through the village and take a census of any existing formations, and those that need assigning to one. Do you think you can handle that?"

"Yes sensei," Shinya sighed as he proceeded to fold his arms across his chest and await further instruction. His other squad mate had just arrived and it would seem that the girl with the bow would be the third. He wondered just what kind of abilities these two had and why would Cecil decide to have them in the team. How would their abilities compensate each other. Shinya was a pure offensive sword fighter. However, he did have his trump card up his sleeve, one that is able to ensure that he could protect the two from elemental ninjutsu. As he pondered about possible maneuvers that he could use in order to be useful to the team, Shinya waited for Cecil to give the go ahead so that they could head on out.
Passive Abilities
• Overwhelming Presence: The members of this family naturally have this sort of powerful aura about them. This not only makes them seem much stronger in terms of rank than they actually are, but they mess with sensory techniques. They SEEM 2 ranks higher than they actually are, which acts as a sort of deterrent for some people. Due to their Aura, if someone were to try and locate their chakra they'd appear as an empty space as well as anything behind them wouldn't appear...which kinda makes it obvious that they are there.
• Weight Loss: Considering the members of this family either typically carry around ridiculously weighted weapons, or simply have on weights most if not at all times, they are faster than they usually show. When a member of this clan has nothing other than their clothing on, their speed is turned from +1 into +2, the power behind strikes is considered -1 due to the weights being a natural source of powerful strikes usually.
• Ninjutsu Negation: By expending chakra one rank below the power of the technique cast by the opponent, the user of this passive ability can negate a Ninjutsu attack used by their enemy. This passive cannot be used to negate Genjutsu or sealing techniques. This value can be lowered like a technique, meaning that it's possible to spend less chakra to negate an opponent's technique.
• Chakra-Enhanced Combat By expending C-ranked chakra while performing an action, one can increase the force behind the movement. For example, a chakra-enhanced punch has more power for that one movement (+1 strength), or a sudden burst of speed can become even faster (+1). This boost extends past the cap, but each individual movement costs C-ranked chakra.

Kaijuu's head slightly dipped at his kages request showing sign of accepting it. Kaijuu took the headband and wrapped it around his waist before turning to exit. Kaijuu stopped for a moment to view the fellow shinobi in the room and took note of them so that he would not have to come back and recount those in front of him. After doing so he calmly strode out of the kages office off to complete his mission.
Kaijuu walked back into the kage's building but instead of heading for the office Kaijuu hooked a left and went into the records room showing the guard a slip from the kage giving him permission to see shinobi's currently not classified in the village. Kaijuu walked into the records room and began to pour through the shinobi profiles recording names and ranks as well as those already in a squad. "Interesting, perhaps these are not accurate?" Kaijuu noted looking over the vast number of higher ranked shinobi not with any under them. Kaijuu continued to pour over the records confirming previous reports from Aobi as well as what was said by the Mizukage about the squad that had just been in his office. Kaijuu shrugged after a few minutes of work having finished compiling his lists.
Kaijuu thanked the man and left heading for the kages office. Kaijuu entered and bowed his head to the kage before giving him a slip of paper with the updated shinobi list. "Here you are, I am unsure if all that information is accurate but it is what I was able to compile" Kaijuu said giving his Kage a sheet of paper that contained the current squads with their leader members as well as all remaining shinobi not placed in squads organized by rank.

Isabelle's eyes rolled once more, the agitation continued. Before she left, an under-the-breath insult was given. This new b***h had nothing on her. With glossy hair floating she'd rush from the room and to the grounds.

Cecil shook his head as the Genin all left. He turned to the Mizukage. "I am sure you already have concerns about the squad I have put together. I want to assure you that I see the flaws as well. More impotently I plan on fixing those flaws immediately." It was true his squad did not have much defensive capabilities but that was going to change. He then walked out of the room to the mission board.
Katsu came into the office. Where had he been? He'd been attempting to reperfect his style. For some random reason, he hadn't been able to really remember a certain style he'd created not too long ago, but now that he had miraculously remembered his techniques, he could return. "Mizukage, I'd like to take a look at those files now, if right now isn't a bad time."

Kaijuu sighed seeing his kage was obviously busy. Kaijuu set the list down on his kages desk and left a clone sitting in the back of the kages office in case anything more was to be asked of him.
Kaijuu himself turned and strode out of the office snagging a scroll with water jutsu before heading to the training ground determined to learn some things.
