Phobius quirked an eyebrow, but didn't comment on that last bit - he wasn't quite as oblivious as she probably assumed, he was just waiting to figure out his own feelings first; this funny feeling in his chest was bloody confusing... 'I wasn't aware hints got that obvious...' "Well, I'm sure whatever fellow you end up with a crush on will be more than happy to oblige - you are rather attractive, after all, and I can easily see you having your pick of boys once you get a little older," the part-boggart answered reasonably. "On Harry and Katherine's part, however... well, from what I've seen, Harry's self-confidence is a far too low for him to make the first move, no matter how well he hides it - Katherine's probably going to have to pretty much whack him upside the head with her feelings in order for him to make any move at all."
Harry grinned before similarly wiping his own face clean.

"He struck me as being a brainless git - you can do far better than him," was Phobius's immediate reply before adding dryly, "Besides, I think we're both well aware that he's not the one you have a crush on. I may be emotionally stunted, but I'm hardly an idiot."
Harry blushed slightly at Katherine's touch before smiling and returning the favor, wiping off a bit of frosting on her own cheek that she'd missed.

Phobius couldn't help but smirk slightly at that as he finished eating; if nothing else, Hermione certainly wasn't shy. 'I never claimed to be emotionless - just emotionally stunted. So does this make us a couple...? Well, I'll try to figure it out tomorrow.' He glanced over at Harry, who was still blushing slightly himself, and his smirk only got wider. "Come on, Romeo, Katherine will still be around tomorrow," he drawled, quite calmly dragging his friend up to their dorm room.

Harry, on the other hand, was practically nothing but nerves as he joined his friends in the Great Hall; he was so nervous that it was a miracle he managed to keep his breakfast down.
Phobius, meanwhile, had come to a decision concerning his feelings the night before. Without the slightest bit of hesitation, he walked over to Hermione, sat down next to her, and quite abruptly snogged her on the spot for a moment before pulling back slightly to check for her reaction; she HAD expressed a desire for him to make the first move, after all - he was just doing what she wanted.

"Actually, I've been considering doing that for a few weeks now; the only reason I waited this long to make a move was because I needed some time to sort out my feelings first," Phobius explained calmly to Katherine. "Now do pick up your jaw, you'll catch flies if you leave it open too long." He then looked back at Hermione, smiling ever-so-faintly; she really looked quite adorable like that.

"Well then, I thank you for your patience," Phobius answered Hermione's little quip, his face and tone making it nearly impossible to tell if he was joking or not even as he absentmindedly waved back to Katherine (though most of his attention was focused on Hermione as he ate).
Harry similarly waved back to Katherine; he fortunately managed to finish his breakfast before the Gryffindor Quidditch team dragged him away as well.

"Well, to be blunt, I'm not really the cheering type, so I was going to stick with watching and congratulate whoever caught the snitch and/or whoever won afterward," was the blunt, typically candid reply as he followed his new girlfriend, soon finding a good seat with her.
Harry similarly sat on his own bench, trying not to panic too much as he held his own brown Nimbus 2000.

However, Harry didn't see the slightest glint of gold there, and as such refused to take the bait, instead flying around and looking for the Snitch on his own.
Phobius seemed rather amused at Katherine's attempt at a feint. 'Harry is hardly unobservant just because he wears glasses; if anything, I'd say that once he gets focused, he's even more observant than me and possibly even Hermione.'
