Rhiannon watched as their mascots attacked, knocking down students one by one. She was reminded of a battle that was similar to this one, but she couldn't quite remember--
She didn't even see the Reaper coming. It hit her with its scythe, knocking her to the ground and stood over her, its weapon raised.
Quickly, she summoned her own weapon, raising her staff and blocking the Reaper's blade as it came dangerously close to her body.

Ri managed to shove off her mascot's scythe with her staff, jumping up and pulling a risky move by attacking the Reaper's side... Just close enough for it to get a scrape across her back.

Wincing, the witch tried to get a hit on the shadow form, but she was too far away and her staff barely tapped the mascot's robes.

The Reaper took the chance to chop at her, but she raised her staff first before it pummeled her weapon with some furious strikes. She tossed the mascot back again, suddenly feeling the exhaustion of the fight.

The shadow Reaper's grin seemed to widen at her expense, it struck her shoulder before she could block its advance.

She then attempted a kick to the shadow's legs, giving it a blow to its flowing robe... Wether she managed to hit it remained a mystery.

Extremely fast and silent, the Reaper suddenly disappeared. She couldn't believe how she could lose sight of her own mascot, making her hold on tightly to her weapon in nervousness.
