...pretty much the opposite of her mother. has many wants and needs, but often pushes them to the wayside in favor of pleasing others (cough mother cough) and completing work/tasks. has a very "fake it till you make it" attitude towards life, often found forcing a smile and attempting to be a friendly face to her tribe and their allies.
and it's working... for now. :v
when no one (and i mean NO ONEEE) is looking, she tends to be a more sullen individual, all soft sighs and quiet contemplation. her job as a messenger and her attempts at pleasing everyone often leave her drained, both physically and mentally, but she would never allow herself to show weakness. it's not difficult to get an actual smile out of her, but man, she's just... very tired.

loves her family, but feels a bit... odd around them, being so very tall. honestly fits in just fine, however, having the same vampiric tendencies as her grandfather and mother.
mother found it fitting to name her raven, since ravens follow wolves and vice versa. <:
loves hunting and developing her skills, even as an adult. will end up having quite a few lessons with her uncle, unaru, after she gets him to warm up to her. eager to learn all that she can about hunting, predators and prey, and the behavior and habits of animals. when out alone, she will usually find a tree to perch in and observe the local wildlife, taking mental notes. a very subdued individual around strangers and new faces, keeping her true emotions reserved for friends and family. the most a stranger will get out of her is a brief chuckle or a quick smile, which she will often shrug off or opt to ignore when pointed out. karasu has decided that it's best not to be too emotive or revealing around new faces - after all, she doesn't know you, and you don't know her. she needs to see if you pose a threat or not and learn more about you before revealing too much information about herself...
tbh, there's a 99% chance i'm going to self-pair her with one of my other 'phims, Vasiliki. just need to do some SRP first and test them out together... 👀 <3

big “guard dog of the family” energy, would do just about anything to ensure the happiness of his father and twin brother. lying, cheating, stealing? threats and sabotage? perhaps even fighting and killing? nothing is out of the question for Duamutef when it comes to his family.
as they say, ignorance is bliss.
that sort of underhanded business will never be mentioned out loud, for Duamu will be meticulous when it comes to covering his tracks. the discovery of such things would cause those who know Duamu to scratch their heads and question the accuser. as a son of Kemet’s Elder, Duamutef feels he has a certain reputation to uphold. and oh, does he excel at this. helpful, generous, full of grace, and very much a social butterfly, Duamu is a fox who truly loves the lands he grew up in and all that call it home. things come easily to him, and he’s found that he’s naturally skilled at an assortment of things. not that he would ever brag, ha ha! as an adult, hunting and sparring will become his favorite activities.

so, as an adult, Duamutef is going to be flattered when others try to flirt or court him, but ignore all serious matters of love/romance until it’s something that has him going “oh, how interesting, this could DEFINITELY benefit Kemet in the long run...”
i kind of like the idea of him being in an “arranged marriage” with someone from another tribe (diff tribe/diff tribe where they visit each other frequently, or the other fox joins kemet?). another elder’s child, or someone of high status??? maybe to help strengthen tribe bonds or something fun like that. using the term “arranged marriage” loosely because it would be an arrangement that Duamutef himself sets up and insists on. 100% business, with little to no actual love. powerful political power couple? or... maybe a slow-burn “indifference to true love” sort of relationship. idk! like i said, ya boi is RIDE OR DIE for his daddy’s tribe, and would be perfectly fine being in a loveless relationship so long as there are other benefits. no matter what sort of relationship he ends up in, he will be a doting mate and caring friend, someone that his partner can always talk to during the best and worst of times... even if they don’t get along.
but before he finds that future mate of his............... i’m down for Duamutef breaking a few hearts. -eyebrow waggle- maybe a friend has a major crush on him and confesses? or he has a one night stand and they end up wanting to start an actual relationship with him due to how well they’ve gotten along? he’s a pretty likeable fox, after all, and very heavy-handed when it comes to dishing out compliments and praise to others. whatever the case, Duamu will crush all their hopes and dreams IMMEDIATELY like an insensitive a**. Duamu tends to be all business, even when it comes to sensitive matters. LET THIS BOY PROVIDE YOUR FOXES WITH CHARACTER BUILDING RELATIONSHIP DRAMA. <:

if they continue to try and convince him that “they’d be so good together!!!”, he will walk away from the situation entirely and find other matters to attend to. if those poor souls live in Kemet with him? oh god. the next time they see each other, Duamu will do what is arguably the most a*****e thing ever and act as if nothing ever happened. he’ll greet them with a smile, chipper and friendly as ever, and even maintain their friendship, but never address the topic of feelings with them again. if they try to bring up the subject, he’ll straight up ignore them or just walk away a final time. as far as Duamu’s concerned, he turned them down once and he shouldn’t have to repeat himself.

a BIG BUFF BRUTE OF A ‘DAEVA (seriously, huge), a male that most would assume isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed... who is, in fact, very intelligent, perfectly aware of that assumption, and often uses it to his advantage when manipulating and scamming the s**t out of others. Ryo, it turns out, ended up with both brains and brawn.
unlike Crook, Ryo has taken a different approach to obtaining what he desires, something he finds a little more fun. instead of resorting to brute force and immediate violence, he offers his services to the public as a mercenary, completing jobs perfectly some days... and absolutely botching them the next. why? the moment something catches his eye during a mission, something of interest, Ryo could care less about what he was originally hired to do. riches, food, flings, affection, fun, the possibility of fame or notoriety, counter-offers from his targets - Ryo is a fickle creature and he’ll steer towards whatever appeals to him in that moment! those mercenary missions are just a means to an end. one way or another, no matter what turn the mission takes, he gets something good out of it, and that's all that matters to him. he’s perfectly fine with turning against his employers on a dime, failing jobs and abandoning them without a care in the world. and if - or, rather, when - he is confronted by those upset employers he betrayed?
he’ll either kill them, make them wish they were dead, or win them over with a few honeyed words, a crooked grin, and the underlying threat of a ‘daeva his size. “******** with people is the fun part.”
