He made his way back to the apparatus, and after tinkering with it a few moments began to crank the handle again. It wound tighter and tighter, and satisfied, he made his way back into the vehicle.
Again the glider shifted and trembled under his weight, and he almost thought it about to die again, when a sudden wind hurled him forward into the air.
Success! He was flying!

Giving the gliders beside them a glance, he whistled and got ready to fly.

She was so excited about adventure that Hekhis nearly ran ahead of the group she was with, half bouncing in the last few steps before she turned to admire the statues..then up towards the floating island, looking grandly curious about it. What was up there?
... Was it safe?
It seemed like Decyl didn't worry about it, so Hekhis made a note to try as well, taking several steps back with a glider (just like he had) before launching off. Flying didn't seem to be too hard to start off with, though. The breeze felt really nice through her hair too.

Oh goodness, first they were battling some strange sorts, now they were about to go flying . . . she regarded the flying machines a little skeptically, uncertain as to how she felt about the idea. But there was this little spark of excitement, the idea of just coasting away seemed amazing. How could Finale say no?
Watching her two new partners do their work, she slowly cranked along side them as they left off, hoping that what she was doing was right. Feeling that she had done enough, she worked her way on to the machine, hoping it wouldn't immediately crash for her.

"THIS THING IS AWESOME!" Decyl yelled as they flew. As he tried to get a hang of controlling the glider, he accidentally lowers it more then intended.
And unexpectedly, a rush of emotions flows through him.

An angry voice calls to him, screaming for him to go. A sense of fear grabs hold of him, but Decyl doesn't show any sign of being effect...excluding the tightened grip of his hand, and the fact his eyes look unfocused for a moment after hearing the voice. He tried his best to look at the other two, "Be care you two! I think something's up with this place."

Looking back over her shoulder at Finale, Hekhis grinned at her success to launch with them, before looking forward to see how Decyl was doing.
Then she suddenly jerked in an almost nosedive for a moment before steering herself straight again, arms shaking as if something very angry had moved through her and startled her. Which it had.
Voices. Voices everywhere. Tresspasser? Did the ship belong to someone?

It was almost breath-taking at first, this beautiful landscape rushing from under her, the muted jingles of her hairpiece in the air as it whipped through, watching before her, she kept an eye on the other two gliders in front of her, trying not to lose them in the bobs and weaves that they created in front of her.

[ Altitude || 153 - 89 = 64 ] 81-100: The fog brings not just a distant voice but a vision, overwhelming your own sight: the glider is burning. The world is tearing itself apart. Screams fill your ears. You cry out as your glider twists erratically and plummets before you stabilize it again and come back to yourself.
Decyl flinched and simply dropped his glider's height. Barely catching himself as the screaming continued.What did he do to deserve this?
Hopefully the girls are doing better then him.

Hekhis was definitely doing better that Decyl, and for a moment she seemed worried about how he was going to make it anywhere that way.
She, however, felt pretty good about how she was doing, taking a deep breath and enjoying the breeze through her hair. Mmmm, yes.

Fly?! She could fly now?? Daaiji's eyes lit up and her wings ruffled excitedly as she hurried over to the shed. It didn't matter if she could see a twinkling island. She just wanted to use a glider! The shadow burst with giggles as she managed to wind up the launcher just right. She grinned toothily.

Daaiji hummed as she listened to a voice whispering in her ear. "Hmmm~?" She felt surprisingly calm. Quite pleased, actually. The shadow casually glided to and fro.

1-20: You hear a gentle voice speaking words you can't understand, and feel a strange surge of emotion: joy. peace. holy duty. Your movements become more sure, as if you instinctively know how to pilot the glider for a few moments. You feel as if someone is smiling at you.
Soaring up so high, she couldn't help but feel at ease for the moment, closing her eyes and leaning back a little, breathing in the air and just allowing herself to pilot the glider with what feel like years of experience.
It wasn't until she opened her eyes that she noticed Decyl disappear under the clouds for the moment, hearing what she assumed was hateful screeches for the machinery.
