Ren and Kasumi tried to always be ready, especially after their near foul-up in the laboratory, though luckily it had worked out in the end.

"Come on, Ziggy." Ren called as he followed Mattias after a few moments.

"Zaaaaaaagoooooooooooon" his Zigzagoon followed him on a zigzagging path.

Kasumi pulled out a pokeball and called out her meowth, then followed Ren and Zigzagoon, and Meowth followed her.

Matthias led the way to the abandoned warehouse. The building looked unusually dark and he could have swore he saw bright red eyes peering out at them from one of the higher up windows.
"Your TADS should have a flashlight of some sort built into it. I suggest turning it on."
He walked up to the large metal doors that led into the warehouse. A slashed up chain that previously held the doors closed was lying on the ground in pieces. He cringed a little at the broken metal links. He knew too well how sharp the claws that caused that were.
"Be on your guard." He warned. "If either of you have any Pokemon that can cause sleep or paralysis, I suggest keeping them at the ready."
Matthias pushed the doors open and entered the warehouse. It was pitch-black, but he could see just fine. His red eyes shone every time they caught a slight amount of light.
Rykter, his shiny Charmeleon, and Blitzkrieg, his bigger-than-average- Wartortle, walked beside him. Gaia, his Ivysaur, brought up the rear.
It was unusually quiet in the warehouse.

Ren and Kasumi activated the flashlight functions on their TADS and stepped into the warehouse too, followed by Zigzagoon and Meowth.

"My Meowth can use hypnosis, and my Abra and Voltorb can use thunder wave." Kasumi answered.

"And my abra and Zigzagon can use thunder wave, but I don't have any Pokemon that can use hypnosis. My Eevee and poochyena can use yawn, though." Ren answered.

"Right, and my Eevee and piplup can use yawn as well" Kasumi agreed with Ren, then looked at Matthias "Any other strategy we need to know about?"

Matthias stepped forward a few more feet, waiting for any sign of Maddy.

"Oh, can you guys just leave me alone already? I promise I'll come back and kill you all quickly as soon as I... GAAAHH!"
Maddy was hidden somewhere in the dark. It was hard to pinpoint exactly where she was.
"Stop shocking me. It's bad enough that I'm trying to haul this stupid thing off my neck."

Matthias smirked. He could faintly smell blood.
"Don't try too hard. You might bleed out before you manage it."

There was a faint laugh.
"You know very well that bleeding out doesn't do much to those like us."

"Just come out already. This is tiring."
Matthias looked over his shoulder at the others. He gestured up towards the ceiling. There was a figure sitting on one of the hanging light fixtures.
"Just follow my Pokemon's lead." He whispered as softly as he could, but he was sure even with her heightened hearing Maddy was too distracted by the microchip in the back of her neck to hear him.
Rykter and Blitzkrieg ran off in separate directions.
After a few minutes, a torrent of fire and a jet of water blasted in Maddy's direction from two different places in the warehouse.
"Quick, blast her with everything you got!"

Ren called out his Axew, Eevee, poochyena and Abra around his zigzagoon, and Kasumi called out her Abra, Voltorb, Eevee, and Piplup around her meowth.

As Matthias's Pokemon launched their attacks, Ren and Kasumi pointed at Maddy, who was now illuminated.

"Meowth, Hypnosis!" Kasumi ordered.

"Axew, Scary Face!" Ren ordered

"Abra, Voltorb, use thunder wave!

"Abra, Zigzagoon, use thunder wave!

"Eevee, Piplup, use yawn!

"Eevee, Poochyena, use yawn too!

All ten Pokemon targeted Maddy, attacking simultaneously.

"OH COME ON!!"
The black-haired girl managed to avoid the first two attacks by Matthias' Pokemon, but the sand that was kicked up into the air impeded her vision. Purple flames burst from her body and melted the sand into a glass with a purple sheen. The small shards of glass harmlessly rained down on everybody.
However, she had allowed the sand to distract her too much.
The combined Water Gun attacks blasted her out of the air, and one of the Paralysis Waves struck her right arm, rendering it useless for the time being. The Scary Face attack did not phase her, and she was impervious the the Ember attack. The combined Yawn/Hypnosis/Confuse Ray attacks hit her dead on, but it didn't have an immediate effect. Her vision was greatly blurred and she hit the ground hard. Purple flames erupted around the area, illuminating it. Maddy slowly got to her feet.

"Impressive. I'm surprised you can still stand." Matthias said with a smirk.
He nodded to Gaia and she sent her vines at Maddy, attempting to ensnare her.

Maddy stretched out her left hand, the nails on her fingers were about an inch longer than normal and razor sharp. She slashed at the vines, deflecting them. She looked upon them all with blood red eyes, the whites of her eyes had gone black.
"You're lucky my wings haven't regenerated yet or I would've been out of here long ago..."

"Tch..."
Matthias took a needle out of his pocket. It was shining with a bright golden liquid.
"It's over, girl."

Small purple flames began to float around Maddy's body.
"How about you fight me with your tru--"
She clenched her teeth as electric pulses were sent through her body. With Matthias nearby, she was in range to be shocked by the microchip.
"FIGHT ME WITH YOUR TRUE POWERS, DAMN YOU!" She screamed at Matthias.
She fell to her knees, hardly able to stay conscious. Her vision was gone completely white.

"I don't know what you're talking about."
Matthias began to walk towards her.

She began to laugh.
"They don't... know?"
She looked up at Matthias with blind eyes. She couldn't see him but she knew she was looking right at him.
"Archie has a demon enslaved but he doesn't know he already has one..."
She flinched in pain with electric pulses.
"... Already has one... working for ...him?"

"You're crazy."
Matthias was right in front of Maddy. He picked her up by the back of her shirt and began to drag her back towards the warehouse entrance.
"We're done here, people."

Maddy chuckled faintly for a few minutes and then lost consciousness.

"Demon?" Kasumi asked Matthias "She's a demon? And she said you are too?"

Before Mattias could answer, both Ren and Kasumi had their eyes empty for a moment, as they were drawn into a waking dream.

They'd been here before... Ren and Kasumi had memories flash into their minds, but it was like a blur. Ren and Kasumi were dueling many individuals they somehow knew to be from Team Tsunami, and Ren was commanding his Fraxure, Mightyena, Shedinja, Ninjask, Ivysaur, and Pikachu, which didn't make sense because he didn't have any of those pokemon.

In the memoies, Kasumi had a Prinplup, Porygon2, Abomasnow, Drapion, Milotic, and Heracross, which also made no sense because she didn't remember having those Pokemon, but it felt so real, even though the memories came as a blur and they couldn't make out much detail.

They returned to awareness. Though barely two seconds had based during their waking dream or memory, it had seemed like longer to them. Kasumi looked at their Pokemon "Hey, where did your Zigzagoon go?" she asked Ren.

Ren sighed "He wandered off again. He'll turn up." Ren recalled his other four Pokemon, and Kasumi recalled her five Pokemon.

He injected Maddy with the special serum and turned to the others.
"I would just forget everything you heard here tonight." Matthias started.
"This girl is a captive of Archie's for revenge reasons unknown to me and I don't know if anything she said was true."
He slung Maddy's limp body over his shoulder so she'd be easier to carry.
"She was hit with a lot of stuff just now, she probably wasn't thinking straight."
