Walking to the cafeteria, Melvin was nudged by another hunter and quickly recovered and stepped away, holding his coat like a shield and being a bit disgusted someone rubbed against him. "Watch it."
Then the first thing out of the guy's mouth was a question about murder. "Which murder? We tend to die a lot around here." He asked, curious and wanting to be sure they were thinking about the same thing. He said murder, but Melvin was thinking of murders.

Used to be. Moderate. Simon - Didn't talk and... threatened me. Nonverbally. High H - REALLY CREEPY. Has weapon that could have made the mess. High.

Wandering away from marks office, Ceres decided it was almost time to call it a day. Really, all this information gathering expected of ALL of them? It was too much almost, they were all on high alert so it was a wonder if they freaking learned anything.
it was around the same time she saw a familiar flash of hair and a certain skintone that made her chase after the other girl, calling out with a "heyyy!" To try and halt the others escape.
Panting softly, she made her way up to candace and waved a hand. "You walk fast, running away from something?"

It was already starting to become clear that Leon should have taken those words to heart a little bit more carefully, to trust no one, Ami was already using it as her motto for the investigation that wounded his pride. "All the passive aggressive questioning has left me mighty thirsty." He proclaimed to himself as he made a stop by the cafe to look for a shake to consume.
And there was Rep with a fat a** piece of chocolate cake. It was a heart attack on a fork waiting to happen. the desire to just run over there and take the dessert plate and spike it into the nearest trash receptacle was downright maddening, a shiver that ran down the fighters back just imagine the sense of relief from it.
But that would come off as rude and he might get a stern talking to from Allan about not being a good nakedma or whatever. But striking up a friendly conversation and asking questions about their mission and preventing him from stuffing his face with it so fast was the next alternative.
"Hey Reid, got time for me to ask you a few questions and probe you for info?" It was honest and genuine but Nid was snickering in his mind over the poor choice of words. It didn't stop him from sliding up with his shake in hand, taking a long sip and staring him down.

As for that sort of response, well, only the guilty freaked out when you asked them a simple question like WHO DID IT. He scribbled down a few notes and left, walking backwards and watching her suspiciously. He had seen enough.
He proceeded to trip a few times before he gave up and walked away the normal direction. Trying to dramatically walk away on sand was actually way harder than it looked, he learned.

I'm just asking around about october. Ive had varying responses from being accused, to talking about becoming a statue, to the haunted house, and who we dont think it is.
