Uru, while he stood there, realized that any sort of action that the creature would view as a threat led to it retaliating. Understandably, it was defending itself, at the same time, so were the citizens of the town. His eye caught a girl, one he noticed before using magic. If he recalled, magic was what kept them going this far and if they were going to keep going, she needed to kept safe.
With a sudden movement, the creature's shadow lunged forth toward the girl. Without hesitation, the hellhound demon bounded across the Maul, taking the hit directly, sending him spinning off to the side with a dusty thud. Uru growled as he struggled to get back onto his feet again. The shadow gave its dreadful cry.

Hairwolf stared. First an even bigger whatever the hell those things were popped out of the ground, then a rabbit ran about shouting orders like a drill sergeant. It was too surreal, man. When did they get to Wonderland?
“Whoa, chill out Hiphop! We ‘ve got this!” He flashed his best grin, ushering his group over.
Once there, he tried to tuck Vi somewhere safe, hiding her out of harm’s way. “You stay put til this is over, ‘kay?” The last thing he wanted was for her to get excited and explode again, concerned that that thing might gobble her up. He then turned to Pyxis and Dom, patting the ghost boil on the head and shooting a smirk at Dom. “You stay here too! That way, I can protect you. Dominic, you’re up with me little buddy. Think you can handle it?” Cue cheeky grin.
He had to pause a moment, though, did he really just say those things? Was he really acting this way? When did he become such a… functioning member of scareciety? He shook himself, nope, nope, nope! This was not okay! But, looking at his little neon clan, he couldn’t deny that he did want to protect them.
So he took out his raging inner turmoil on the boss.

Well, excuse her! It wasn't as if she thought that pulling off something from that height was a lovely idea when she was only trying to see if that would help. Puffing up her cheeks and wrinkling her nose, Yvette gave a little snort as she thanked the bunny boil (Young-Soo) for his aid before pushing herself up from the ground to regard the even bigger shadowling, feeling the pain that had incapacitated her a while ago ebb away into a more manageable dull ache.
Alright. No more careless actions on her part from now on. Bunny boil was right. They were going to have to work together instead of doing their own thing if they wanted to have a shot at surviving this.

Carrol heard nothing the rabbit boil said. He had long since moved away from the other's side and landed a hit on the smaller creature that had plagued them for a while, only to find himself confronted by this giant one now. This was so unbelievably uncool. The wig monster balled his fists into his overly large stolen hawaiian shirt and stared up at the new shadowling, defiance plain in all thirteen of his eyes.
He might have been scared shitless, but he was determined to go down fighting. Careful to keep the forbidden venom in his tail away from the shadow, Carrol punched at it again with a tiny fist.

By Ruth's logic, the more people there were around, the more chaotic things got. And with that in mind, Ruth started skating backwards, making sure Simply could see her blowing a kiss. Still skating backwards, the reaper somehow managed not to trip up over the assortment of debris. That is, until she bumped into the boil that had gallantly protected her earlier.
Awww, she appreciated it, really! And with a wide smile, she gave the boil a light lovetap with the butt of her bat. That should keep him going for a bit!

Ruth wasn't that rallying force that united people together. She wasn't that voice of reason or hope that got everyone pumped up. She was just a reaper who enjoyed intense displays of emotions and was very appreciative of it. So when she saw a blond boil doing just that, and showing this shadow creature what-for, she couldn't help but skate on up to him and blow him a kiss. She winked too but given her hair and the bill of cap, well, someone figured this was relevant.

Yvette had witnessed firsthand how the hellhound (Uru) had selflessly put himself in harm's way to protect the healers (Ruth and Young-Soo) and that gave her an idea. It wasn't as if she was really making any head way with the majority of her attempts at attacking the shadowlings plus she really wanted to make herself useful in some way so why not?

He had been very hungry, and very unhappy with the sheer amount of damage he was sustaining, and he was extra unhappy about this huge creature so one could only imagine his displeasure at the notion of having to attract its attention.

The attention Ruth was getting was simply overwhelming the ghoul. Or maybe it wasn't and she was simply acting as if it was? When did Ruth ever need a reason to do what she did? It was fun, it was interesting, and it would keep things going and so she skated on over and pretty much got the fur-ruffling she wanted to do earlier with Van.

As everyone jumped into action and began the full frontal assault against the gigantic creature, the rabbit boil dashed to the side towards Simply, clasping his hands together as he healed her. He gave a thankful nod towards Uru who used the last of his strength to protect him and the rollerblading reaper. He couldn't let the boil give out yet though, they needed the strength of everyone if they were going to win."No, you're not done yet!!" the rabbit shouted as he dashed over towards Uru, preparing to heal him next as the rest of the group pressed on, "Nobody's dying on my watch, got that?!"

The food court, judging by the large soft drink it carried in one tentavine and the Grubway sandwich it was chomping on. "What?" he threw at whoever gave him a look. "Soldiers gotta eat!" And oh eat he did. A sandwich never disappeared so fast.
"Awww, and lookit that beaut!" it cooed at the large new heartless, like it was a fantastic new discovery waiting to be held rather than, say, be terribly mad at for ruining the day.
The malboro pulled out a second sandwich from the bag another tentavine held, eyeing it speculatively. "Here I thought I'd get to eat in peace." But if anything, Touchestone looked delighted that it could multitask.
"'Allo, mates," it called with a quick salute of its free hand and a large toothy grin, acting as though it hadn't been gone at all. "What say we get some action, huh? Winner gets free dinner."
There was no time to argue - just a green blur as the monster launched itself at the beast.

Simply braced herself as the person now deemed 'Projectile' took to healing someone in worse shape than her. Here it came and there she took it. Whack! Ouchies that hurt, but instead of going flying she clung to the thing, biting at it to keep it from trying to get at what was behind her. While she did no actual damage, she wasn't about to give up. Until it did manage to fling her off into a pillar where the ghoul slumped down into a pile. But only briefly.
"Ooom... ouchies." A few tiny tears pricked at the corners of her eyes as she stumbled to her feet and shook her self. "But... but Simply is fine!"" A quick hop and she was up and ready to try again. Or would have, though someone caught her attention with a brief bit of healing? Eyes shut a few times as she tried to grasp what had happened before a wide smile spread on her face. "OO! Thank you!" She bounced over before slinging her arms around the rabbit's neck and giving him a quick kiss on the cheek without a second thought. "I will certainly make it worth helping me! You'll see!" With that she let go and turned to face the boss, fearless as ever as she sprang forward. A quick set of kicks to the thing before it managed to send her flying and she'd done some good. Not a lot. But some.
She was hurting a bit, but rather proud of herself a she picked herself up from a bunch of rubble she'd landed in. A giggle escaped her as she started back for her newfound group of friends. "See.. see. I hit it!"
