Millie was fighting a losing battle. Her bedroom was nearly devoured and she didn't seem to be hurting the shadow at all. It bobbed and jumped around, taunting her to attack again.
Instead, Millie used Esu as a vaulting pole, charging the creature and using the weight of her weapon to fling her body to the door and made a hasty retreat. Maybe there were other students that were having better luck fighting these creatures.

Danny and the shadowling spent quite a bit of time thrashing around in the blankets as she tried to figure out where the surface was. The shadowling, in the mean time, got pelted with hits from her arms.

Danny came out of the blanket ike Jaws out of the water.
Unfortunately, she had no boat to bite because the minipet(?) was still trapped. Okay plan. She needed a plan. Something elaborate and well-timed.
Let's be real plans were never Danny's forte. "UHHHHHHHH." An idea struck. "OH!" Danny picked up the entire blanket pile, shadowling and all. She hadn't thought past this. Instead she panicked in circles wondering, "What do I do what do I do???"
The shadowling was rather perplexed- though somewhat happy- about his new dark surroundings. Suddenly everything had gotten muffled and dark, and he wasn't really sure what to think about it.
Instead, he just phased out of the blanket and began imitating the fire demon, running around in circles with her.
Danny only just noticed the shadowling had escaped. She dumbly looked at her blankets then threw them on her bed, springing for the minipet(?). It couldn't escape!
"C'mon dude! I just wanna go to bed!" Danny liked her sleep, thank you. "I'll give you some FEAR candy I swear just get in there!"
Once the shadowling was down, Micail moved in for another attack. The shadow creature was still recovering from his first strike. Now would be the perfect time to strike and deal some real damage. Before he could even strike however, Micail watched as the little creature jumped. It was fast. He barely had time to even react. He managed to raise his arms in a block as the thing hit him head on. Micail fell back into his shelf causing some of the items on it to fall. One item in particular was rather heavy, considering it was a large heavy back book. It fell and smacked him right on the head. He let out a grunt when it connected. "Ow..." He glared at the shadow that now seemed to bob and weave in a strange way.

Well if it wasn't a minipet, it was an intruder! Some creeper come to spy on her! For a moment she wondered if it wasn't just someone who came to play, but then she shrugged and decided to kick it in the face anyways. Danny was a "act first think later" sort of person.
"Who are you!? WHO SENT YOU?" Maybe she just wanted to be in one of those cool spy movies.
The shadowling shook its head and phased underneath her, scratching her lightly on the shin as though remembering why it came here.
"Oh so you wanna fight, do you?" she mused, putting up her fists. Then she realized fists probably wouldn't be useful against something so ... short ...
HP: 82/100 DMG: 1 / 2 = .5 (rounded up to 1) Enemy HP: 1/10
So feet instead of fists- that was easy enough. Danny had always been the type to fight with her feet first anyways.
"Alright little dude, you're going down!"
All it took was one swift kick to the head, and the thing was disappearing into the night. Danny blinked a few times and then stood a bit taller, hands on her hips. "Guess I'm stronger than I thought!"
Well, since she was up she figured she might as well go for a run. Maybe she'd go play a prank on Roch. THE POSSIBILITIES WERE ENDLESS.
To say Rikki jumped out of bed would be a gross overstatement. To be more accurate, Rikki lazily cracked just one eye open, searching for whatever was giving him the heebie-jeebies. Staring back at him with round, glowing eyes was... something. Definitely not one of his own minis.
He threw a pillow at it from under the safety of his covers. It hissed and rolled away, wiggling it's antennae intimidatingly.

The had been something gold, something that she had grasped in her arms and held. It had told her there had been something missing, that she needed. To finish. A dreamer. In a dream. Floating.
Maple awoke with a flutter of her eyes, held tightly in the tangle of blankets and two beady yellow eyes peering at her in a curious manner. At first she thought it was one of the few grumpkin kings that had recently arrive in her room but as her vision and mind cleared. Obviously not. Maple shot up quickly with a scream, making the shadowling topple and tumble off her bed. There were a few more, already doing nasty work to her room.
She was up and out of her bed as quickly as her petite body could manage, first pushing towards the closet to lock her mini pets safe and sound and then moved on to grab something to cover her sleeping clothes and a pair of shoes.
The witch was out, not even taking a chance to fight the creatures. She didn't want to fight, not at all! But something about the text she got from Andrew told her she wasn't going to be able to avoid it.
Maple pouted, whined and headed towards the Student Club Rooms.

"Seriously," Rikki groaned, rolling over to grope for something else to throw. "You're kind of creepy. If you could just go away until after noon or something, that would be great."
The thing blinked owlishly at him, obviously not understanding.
