Serafina lifted her gun to take another shot, not liking the way he was staring at her so hard, knowing that he must have been planning something. It felt like he was seeing into her very soul, and she liked her soul--and miasma--right where it was. That was, not extracted with a dagger!
What happened, though, was something she wasn't at all expecting. There was something he activated, and she had no idea what it was until it was too late.
She was choking.

When Than emerged onto the battlefield, it had already descended into chaos. The pup's first thought was to spy the King, see if he could remain at her side, see if he could manage to defend her, as that had been one of the youth's priorities from the beginning. Heh, one would have thought it would be easy to spy that much red...but there was so very much blood. Than paled a bit, fingertips clutching at his newly red tunic, shivering as he tried to find his friends.
Than didn't much like what he found.
"D-Damien?!" Wasn't that the Queen? What in the name of the five hells was she doing!? Had everyone out here gone completely and utterly insane?
Than was of the opinion that they rather had.
Than wasn't much one to think about his actions. Launching himself forward, he made his utmost attempt at barrelling into Levi, trying to get her off of the struggling gardener. Not that it did all that much good, as the darker pup mostly just...managed to get in her way a bit.

The sounds of battle were ringing in her ears, a sweet song to the woman of war. With every clash of steel on steel, with every desperate cry of pain, with every sound of a body as it crumpled to the ground, she felt more and more at home. This was her place, her element. This is where she belonged.
The mans feeble attempt at an attack in return to her was insulting, and she scoffed at him, even as she felt the small pain of an arrow grazing across the small of her back. But she ignored where ever that had come from, she had her target for now, and she would see him dead upon the earth before she moved on to bigger and more difficult challenges.
"What are you?" She asked, her voice almost crooning as she brought her dagger up, jumping towards him and plunging it downwards with all of her strength. "You are not real, and not a horseman, so what are you?"
Did she really expect an answer? No. Shaheen just liked to muse out loud when in the midst of a heated battle.

Was it all really happening? Damien was unsure which way was up. was this really the queen? trying to strangles him because of something he did? was she an imposter that went unnoticed till it was too late?
It was getting harder to try and think about what was happening, "No" he insisted, feebly returning to paw and flail at the limbs of levi again. "i dont' want to die, It not my time yet, its not my time." he insisted, trying to use the last bit of strength to get up. "i have things i need to do, only I can do."
the hound had no clue what hit them, what stepped in to potentially save his life and lessen the pressure around his throat, but he was grateful for the opportunity. "You imposter queen, you're not going to get away with this." he answered back, leveling his gaze on the false phoenix.

If this meant that someone more suited to defend and fight for them might live, then she was glad it had happened this way.

Mot winced from the mage's latest attack, feeling as if he was being pelted by annoying stings of power. "Get off you high throne, littlelady!" Mot yelped, trying not to give in to the urge of curling into himself, burrowing into his hooded cloak.
"My place is the same as yours and everyone else's. Get over yourself! And your shamexcuse for a Kingdom!" He barked out, lashing out at her with words rather than strikes. She'd be the face of his pain and sorrow. He wished to bring her down to his level of suffering, so she would know how futile her efforts were.

He saw where he was going before he had a chance to stop it.
"NO!"
The snarl erupted from Mengyao's throat as the sword left his fingers, the weapon thrown across towards where the Green was standing, to where Imryn stood, engaged in her own battle.
He was too late. The sword clattered to the ground, the dual figures of both the Green and his Practitioner sinking lifelessly to the ground. Mengyao dropped beside her, reaching to gently touch her cheek, trying to find any breath left.
But there was none. Anger pulsed through him, heavy and hot, and Mengyao stood back up, his fingers clenching around the golden hilt of his sword. He dragged the weapon up gripping it tightly, his eyes raking across the battlefield.
He found one target and spun the sword around.

He'd only put his blade up in defense of their leader as the one who'd been fighting turned. Fleeing in the opposite direction. No, not the opposite direction, toward another. A breath left his lips at what he saw, a suicidal death.
That blessing was a cruel as anything else the voice had ever 'shared' with them. Such a war.
While he did not particularly know the woman, fear for those near him etched itself deep within his heart. He knew they could see the same fate at any point, falling to such an attack. He himself as well. A second of not paying attention and it was over. He could lose everything so quickly. And it wasn't his life he was so concerned with.
Still, he couldn't allow that to happen to the King either, if he died they all did. No, he had to protect him. Leaving the two behind he charged after Mengyao, blade ready to fend off any attacks that may come.

Character description: Molan isn't a particularly manly man. He's 17, but rather slim and feminine. He now wears a set of regal looking white and gold robes of the Gold Kingdom. Likely seeming a bit fancy, but they're just standard for the kingdom. He also wears an orange and gold sash tied around his waist that has blue beads, and a golden scarf loosely draped over his shoulders. His hair is white and rather long and braided in the back didn't help to make him any less lady-like probably. He's also tied a few golden strings in place of the old white ones to hold things in, and has a new golden bell at the end of his braid. His bangs are long in the front on each side and tied to keep some manner of order to them. He has sky blue eyes to add to a fairly pale complexion.

Sheridan's answer to the taunt was another snarl. It seemed there would be no more words from him. He had already spoken all he would speak, now there was only action and the sting of his blade.
He struck swiftly, aiming to plunge the blade into Jing's other leg. It was a strategic move, cripple his opponent and it would be much more difficult for him to fight back. Perhaps if Sheridan could cripple him here, he could end the fight before there was further bloodshed.
