*Shortstraw was huffing his eyes were half open as he looked to the keria bird thing... he laid on the ground and closed his eyes again. His own attack that the impact, and area he used it damiged his own body a bit. Ifact her put too much into that attack and now he was also out of energy. He however wasn't giving up untill he was sure... he rolled over and stood up falling over, then got up again and looked around. He failed again... he then fell forword knocked out.*

Asher appeared next to Kiera, looking to Shortstraw pitifully. Kiera did a bird equivalent of a facepalm. Which could probably only be described as a beakwing. "Well he's a trooper." Kiera sighed, although it was awkward speaking through a beak. "I'll just bring him back to the castle to rest." Asher looked to her. "Your stuff isn't at the castle." Kiera shrugged her wings. "I know. Still my room, though." Kiera extended her wings again, and lifted herself up into the air, grabbing Shortstraw as she did. There, she began to fly back to the castle. Asher just grimaced at the mess. "Well i'm not clearing that up."
When Kiera got back to the castle, she changed back, and was quick to put Shortstraw to rest in her bed. She went downstairs, only to see Hikari cooking dinner. Was it so late already? She sat down at the table, and yawned. "What's for dinner?" Hikari was almost startled. "Oh! Kiera. It's you. I didn't see you there." She smiled. "And it's chinese, if you're interested." Kiera shook her head. "I'm not hungry I just wanted to get something for Shortstraw in case he woke up." Hikari frowned at her. "You never eat! You're going to fade away until there's nothing left of you but bones." Kiera sighed. "Maybe that'll be an improvement." Hikari just frowned further.

*Shorstraw was out for about an hour or so before he suddnely twiched and woke up. He then sat up and out of breath still some how he looked around. He was in what looked like keria room. Was this another stupid test she was pulling on him. He finally regained his breath and looked to his chest. He was still wareing the same clothing however, under what he did have still he moved aside to find a large wound on his chest. He chukkled, "Ow.... okay... lets not touch that its still tender." He looked around again. "I have a feeling that somthing amiss here..." He called, "Asher..." he found it hard to yell so it was more of a normal tone.

Asher appeared on the end of the bed, sitting calmly as she licked her paw. "Yes, Shortstraw?" She looked dully to him, then his wounds. "Oh. It seems you got more badly hurt than i thought you did. Maybe Kiera shouldn't have been so rough carrying you back here. Oh well. Can't be helped now."

*He ignored his wounds, "i'm not worryed about that it's nothing. I need to know if the people in the town were okay, and also... why all kerias stuff is gone... she's really moving somehwere isn't she?" He crossed his arms.

Asher nodded. "Yes, the people in the town were fine. All of them got away and the brute was killed before any real damage was done. Kiera's relocated the ones without anywhere to live any more and cleaned up the mess that was left behind." She leaved his question until last. "Yes... She is moving out of the castle." She said bluntly.

*He nodded* "I thought so. Just kinda felt that part was correct. So where are we moving too." He made sure the WE was included in that. He was sure that were ever it was, she was going to take his with her.

Asher made a weak smile. "She's found a cabin in the marshes. So it's not exactly far away." She paused to lick her paw again. "You know, you don't have to come. It's your choice. It's not like we're moving to a different country. She just wanted to be a little separate from some of the people in the castle. The only thing it will honestly change, is sleeping arrangements." She sighed. "She planned this before you came back, anyway."

*He smiled, "Well a cabin out there isn't bad i was honistly afrade though for a second there. I of course will go with her. That whole i wont leave her thing goes both ways you know." He chukkled. He patted ashers head, "also i wanted to ask you something. not the best time though." He looked to his wounds. "That thing wasn't a normal demon... it was but it wasn't. Anyways it's not about that. Its about you and me."

Asher strangely had some kind of nostalgia when Shortstraw patted her head. She wasn't sure if she liked the feeling or not. "What about you and me? I hope you're not going to go all mushy on me now." She chuckled a little.

*He chukkled* "i could." He started to laugh but his stomach hurt to much and he shuddered. "Okay no laughing... okay there is somthing that has happened. Demons were known int he last gernation to be placed inside some of the seven, like two or three of us. However none had a peice of themselves inside a demon. I am afrade the effect might turn out sorta like hikari and Mr yuji did. Well alot diffrent, but sorta like that... you get what i mean right. I know theres alot going on on your end, and i'm sorry about that... but it is what it is. We can change it."

Asher nodded. "I'm aware. And i've accepted it. What's going on between me and the demons right now may be some of your business. But you don't have to be sorry for me. And i can handle it. I don't have a multitude of emotions. Although my kind of demon is actually the most emotional. Nothing like Veira or Paradioa at all. Ironic, i thought." She stretched her front legs out, and stood up. "I'm trying all i can to undo my mistakes. No matter how few those mistakes are, they are large mistakes."

He shied, "the only way you can undo the mistake with me is to kill me and get rid of the part of my soul inside you. And... well i'm not sure what the other mistakes could be. I just felt it more fair to worn you if you didn't already know. I mean i know unerstand why i've felt diffrent since the time i made the deal with you, and why i felt more diffrent and the real me awoke. welll only about 50% of me awoke." He shied being the the only one who wasn't a full hunter, "Fact is i think your the one that gave me about 25% of what i can do now. I'm not feeling sorry for you, i feel bad becuse theres nothign i can do about it other then die. And frankly i don't want to do that becuse of keria. I don't want to leave her alone again. One more question and then i shouldn't ask anymore, are you willing to go aginst the other demons..." he said it as he looked to the window, "I don't mean in a demon way i mean actully kill them all if you can."

She shrugged. "Possibly. However that wouldn't be so easy.. for me." She hopped off the bed to go and jump onto the windowsill, where she watched Kiera who was outside, training. It was dark, so it was a pretty stupid time to be doing anything like that. But such was Kiera. "In all honesty, i'd be 'disbanded' by the devil personally and made back into a soul to forever trudge the hills of hell." She cocked her head to the side. "I'm either on the demons side or not a demon at all. Which is why there has been an uproar about it recently. The other demons are having an appeal to the demon overlord to get me 'disbanded.' My deal with you and Kiera would be over, returning whatever i took from you both. It's not a preferred method. But a forceful one." She shook her head.

Shortstraw shied, "Ahser... this is going to sound stupid but... maybe i should as if yuji can help in anyway. He might have an idea that would let you win over both, and all in all, i have to talk to him about that demon was saw today... it wasn't like you and the others... i dont think it's from hell either." He stood up from the bed, "you wouldn't ask him i'll do and just say i wanted to know. Just saying... it's what a freind can do. Expechally one who ruins your... well second life." He madea face and slowly head to the door turning for a answer.*
