"Why don't you try again." She urged. "Maybe you could win another hat and we could match."
Was she being serious right now? He didn't really have a chance to decide as she put down some more silver seeds and smiled at him brightly. It was time to play again.
And sure enough, he won himself another hat. This one his mom happily scooped up, the stood on her tip toes, stretching her arm as high as it would go to place the hat on top of his head.
"There now don't we both look so cool." She said, pale eyes practically sparkling.

Alex couldn't help it be smile back at her, his earlier bitterness towards her beginning to fade away as they went back to having fun playing games, punctuated by their usual banter. He decided to give the game another go. For some reason shooting things was actually starting to make him feel better.
He seemed to only be able to do so well, and no better. He was offered another hat as a prize and he handed this one off to his mom. "We'll give it to Mei when we get back to the Dance booth." He explained, though he doubted the ghoul would want to wear it over top of that giant bow she'd decided to put on her head for the night.

Okay just one more time, and then they would get out of here. He slapped down payment for the final time. This time he actually felt like he did quite good! He hit a lot more targets then he had the first three. Maybe he had just needed to get the hang of it, first! He put the gun down, feeling quite satisfied with how he'd done. "Oh, hey Mot!" Had Alexander actually just realized that this booth was being run by the Reaper who's band had kicked his own bands a** during Battle of the Bands? It would seem so! "This game is really fun. Did you build it all by yourself? And hey, congratulations on battle of the bands, by the way. I don't think I had a chance to tell you before. Sorry for the uh..cymbal. I swear I wasn't aiming for your head." His mom just stood back and watched her son say all of this with a look of silent fascination. Or maybe she was just waiting for her son to learn some manners and introduce her to the boil. Drifter Jet Enduro Hi Mot, hi! And uh..token? XD

"Yes well, at least you were able to get me back, right?" Alex fake grimaced and then grinned as he reached up to rub at the back of his head, his plastic cowboil hat moving forward on his forehead, before realizing that he had completely forgotten about his mother. "Oh jack! I mean...sorry. Mot, this is my mom. Mom, this is Mot. He's uh...a friend of Yin's.." He got a little quiet at that, frowning a bit. Well, that was all Mrs. Van Rotte really needed to hear! Surely any friend of Yin's was an upstanding young gentleman. She pushed past her much, much taller son and held out her skeletal hand towards the cowboil. "Hello there, Mot. It is such a pleasure to meet more of Alexander's school mates." She offered the boil a warm smile. "Have you been attending the academy long?"

YES! SHOOTING THINGS! Freya was ready. She picked up the little toy gun, and signalled for the minipets to set her some things to shoot. She was going to shoot them all with her eyes closed. No. Really. She closed her eyes. Please step back. When she opened her eyes, almost nothing had been shot.. except one of the minipets, a person two booths away, and.. had she shot her own foot..? One of the shoelaces on her left boot were loose. She pulled it off, as it smoked from the shot, and put it in her pocket. One more thing off the list, at least.. Whaddaya know, a zombie at the shootout.
This was gonna be hilariously bad.
From the get go Mort was a touch apprehensive holding the gun because, fake ammo or not, it was still a gun. Somehow he was sure it was going to come alive in his hands, turn around, and try to headshot him, HE JUST KNEW IT. With a wince he held it up and began pulling the trigger.
. . . and he hit things.
Mort shuffled away with a small thank you, still a bit shellshocked that he had approached to begin with and ducking his face beneath the newly won buckaroo hat.

Trying her best to be quiet, Poke sneaked up to the gunners booth, looking around warily for anyone that could be watching?
...Was anyone watching? She hoped not, for as she picked up the pellet gun, she paused..
"Alright, put em up" She said, putting on a fake accent as she shot down the targets
"Yehaw!" She shouted as she finished up her last round, and picked herself a rather nice looking plastic cowboy hat.

Freya was back in line behind Poke, and when the ghoul looked around to see if anyone was watching, Freya bent around to stay out of her line of sight. Why? Because she was clearly about to do something sneaky- Or, perhaps she was just about to be silly. There was nothing to be ashamed of, Poke! Freya made sure to do the exact same thing, when her turn came around. "Puts thems up, partners!" She cried out, grinning at Poke before shooting away. "Yeehaws!" She didn't do that well, but that wasn't what mattered. At least they were having fun! Score: 22 Drifter Jet Enduro another rainbow star for the loser, please XD <3

Mot chuckled. "Sorry. It was you or the ghouls, and hitting ghouls is against my policy. No worries, I got Mort pretty good too." He said with a cheeky grin. Mot smiled warmly at Alex's mother, offering his own hand and giving her a sturdy handshake. "It is a pleasure. Ah, yes I've been here at Amity for about a year and a half."

Alex could understand that policy. He didn't particularly like hitting girls very much, either. Unless it was in a spar, of course. But even then, he mostly just bit them.... "Oh, so long! Alexander, hasn't even been here for a year yet." She drew her hand back, glancing towards her son. "Shall we continue on, then? You mentioned that your little friend Mei was probably waiting for you to return. It was lovely to meet you, Mot." She offered the cowboil another warm smile, before linking her arm with Alex's and pulling him away while he gave Mot a departing wave and an apologetic look. "Such a nice young boil.." His mom murmured as they wandered off together.

Sal recognized this booth because Danny gave him a bag from it. Maaaaybe he could return the favour?
The only problem with this was...he had never held a gun before. Ever. He never needed to! Why get a gun when you could just as easily throttle someone with your own boney fingers? Or more, make someone else do it? Silly thing, guns.
...But ridiculously fun, too.
The kickback of the little pellet gun was enough to make him lose his aim here and there, but in the end he didn't do too bad for a beginner...he got a hat out of it!
Said hat promptly went on his head. C:
