Okay, so while we wait for my sketchpad to magically appear, let's get some stuff done!
1. Just so you know, here's the butler/maid type list and who's got what:
a. storge (affection) - agni b. eros (romance/passion; may include but not necessarily sensual) - Keaton c. philia (friendship) - Hoshi d. agape (charity) - Seiji e. venus (sexual attraction) - Amu f. egophilia (love of self) - KuroKageHane g. Platonic (spiritual, inspiring) - GuNeko
2. A café logo! For now maybe we can discuss concepts? Any logos on the net/anime/movies/TV shows you've seen that you think could be inspiration for it?
3. Description of the café itself. Let's split this into two parts: interior and exterior (which includes setting). Also, to be clear this is for the HQ thread (in this Guild), not for the events.
a. Interior. For some reason I was thinking "Victorian". Now I don't know exactly what that means, but that's the word that comes to mind. I'm guessing elegance is key--the wood on the tables (no tablecloths, probably?) is old but well-maintained and beautifully varnished, the dishes made of a lightweight ceramic (maybe porcelain?) and the utensils stainless steel, well-polished and rather heavy for utensils. Warm colours for the interior, with a touch of dark here and there--for example, the curtains in the windows could be old rose, which is warm but adds a touch of romance and femininity.
b. Exterior. I was thinking this could be like an ordinary café on the outside, nothing too ostentatious, you know? It would be an unsuspecting café. As for setting--from the beginning I had this kind of picture description:
You suddenly find yourself in the middle of a deserted street. It's getting dark, and it's quiet--too quiet. Not a single sound do you hear, no cat mewing, no dog barking, not even a rat scurrying past. Nothing but the clacking of your heels on the cold concrete, painfully loud in this heavy silence. You must have taken a wrong turn somewhere... You're just not sure where. Left and right of you there are old shops, a house here and there, but they look like they haven't been lived in for ages. You keep walking. You spot a light. The light is warm and inviting, spilling from the windows of what looks like a little shop... You walk towards it, and you begin to hear some music coming from it, faint at first, but as you draw nearer it becomes more distinct. It's a gentle tune, warm and inviting... You are now at the door.
Gimme your feedback, guys and gals~ emotion_kirakira
Somehow this did not appear in my notices....>_>.....stupid gaia..... Anyway, I like them all, except, I believe the silverware should be made of pewter, a slightly better than stainless-steel, but not as easily tarnished as silver, silver-looking metal.
And I agree about the first sign. Only thing I would add in is that there should be no "airbrushed" look.....all filled in, solid colors. More professional looking and more elegant.
I do think that the drapes MUST be made of velvet. And there should be a few comfy chairs near fireplaces or something similar.

Alright, I've been rereading everything and it seems I haven't missed anything important while I was gone. How is the progress for the art?

I agree of course, but it is mostly Agni's baby. We don't even have art for everyone yet.
