xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.נσυsαкє нιяσѕнι ▭ "You don’t have to force a party." "Oh quit being so gloomy Raiku! You know that Kenshin speaks the truth. We've been taken off guard by this recent betrayal and the recent appearance of Nocella is certainly concerning." Jousake then paused as he noticed the quincy that hid behind Kenshin's chair and was intrigued by this man's appearance. "Wonder what else Kenshin has in store for us?" Sighing, he then spoke again. "While we still don't know what method those masked strangers used to enter the Soul Society, I can tell you however how they were able to get past us without us noticing their spiritual pressure."
Pausing, Jousake thought back on the strange outfit he saw his old rival wearing, in particular the strange masks they all had on. "I'm not sure what it is about their outfits, but it clearly was made with the intention of masking their own spiritual pressure entirely, as I wasn't able to sense a since trace of reiatsu when I approached this group of masked individuals. However, the moment Nocella took off her mask, I could easily sense her vast and widely dormant spiritual pressure with ease."
Pausing once more, Jousake remained quiet, as he let his words sink in for the others present. "Although we still don't know much about these masked individuals and whether or not their appearance in the Seireitei was completely coincidental or not, Kenshin's right. Something big is heading our way and we need to set up the proper preparations in case something major does come our way. I like Mr. Clark's idea, and if possible, I think we should step up patrols all over the Seireitei as an added precaution." "Just love life and the party happens effortlessly." ▭ ┏xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx┓ Mood: Concerned Location: Captain's Assembly Hall Thoughts: Troubling times indeed... ------X----X-Axzaki Heroki-X----X------ Captain of Squad3 "Do we really Need to fight...." Axzaki aka Gin Listening to Raikus statement towards Kenshin, he had a point even though Raku didn't like Kenshin much. Though this went for a lot of people, even Axzaki had his ifs about the strange man. Once after Raiku was finished, and Kenshin began to make his order or thoughts, Axzaki continued to remain quiet. Though it was very surprising to see a quincy in the midst of all of them and in the room talking about allies. He now knew this was confirmed, Kenshin knew people in dark places >.>(Axzaki's eyes looked away like that ). Axzaki listened to the man as he spoke, and would have spoken but didn't decide too.
Once the man had giving his name, Axzaki sighed afterwards which man made a key point about the senkaimon. Axzaki then looked over to Jousake, and which he too had a point. He knew something was wrong if Jousake sounded some what worried, because he was one of the calmest people Axzaki knew. When he mentioned about Nacella, Axzaki eye widened a little. He heard of this woman, and heard how monstrous her power was."Are you serious?"he said out loud, though it had a slight worried tone behind it. He then allowed Jousake to finish. This is when he began to speak"Well obviously I'm sure three of us seen how they entered or at least left."he said with a calm tone."Raiku, did you and Akarui and the rest see how Grimm?"he then turned to Jousake"and did you see how Nacella leave?"he asked with a concern.
They may not know how they did it, but at least they can be alert for it. He turned to kenshin, who he really didn't want to ask a questions too bu he was the head captain so its time to respect that."Head Captain Hiroshi, do you really think we are ready for a war this big?"he asked as he had a little more concern come from him. This followed his last statement"I mean we heard what the quincies did a long time ago, no offense Tobias, but a explosion just happened not to long after Grimm was gone."he said as he looked around the room. "....because i would rather have tea"

Raiku Sato Squad 10 Captain Raiku looked at Tobias when the man spoke to him and gave a confused look. The man seemed to be rather strange to him, even stranger than the average spiritually aware human which was strange by itself. Raiku chuckled a little at Tobias's response to his sarcasm. "Thanks, I'll keep that option in mind." Raiku then gave the man a quick smile. "Welcome to the Soul Society by the way, wish your meeting with us could have been under better circumstances." Raiku decided that it would be polite to be friendly to their guest, and besides, he had no issue with the Quincy, but he was concerned about his own hollows at his barracks. "He better not touch my hollows. They are family after-all." Raiku then listened to the others speak. "I agree with Jousake and Tobias, it seems like a good way for dealing with home security, but we do also need to find a way to track them in order to launch an offensive. Playing defensive probably won't work against these guys. Therefore Jousake, did you notice any flaws in their clothes, like the fact that trace amounts of their spiritual pressure leaked out." Raiku knew it would be difficult to track with only faint traces of spiritual pressure, but it was better than nothing. After Axzaki's inquiry, Raiku began to think more and more about what he saw when Grimm and the other man left. "Well Ax, I saw the man that came to extract Grimm use some sort of card that opened a portal of some sort. The portal didn't seem like the normal Senkaimon or Gargantua we find. That's about it." Raiku then began to think about the man that came to retrieve Grimm. He heard the man talk about experimentation and it gave him the same amount of discomfort that he had when he was around Squad 12. He then remembered how his presence messed Yuki up. "I wonder if this was that Shalom guy that Yuki told me about, I'll have to ask her." Raiku was now really hoping that the meeting would end, because he wanted to find out if his suspicions were correct. However, he was unwilling to voice these ideas to the others since they were mere speculation.

~Captain Of Eighth Division~ "Some say I was just flare in the fire..." Hearing what the others had to say, along with the introduction of Mr. Clark, the Quincy, Akarui did her best to keep quiet and absorb a strategy for the situation.
Her face perked up slightly when she heard her name being called to attention. "Whomever...'these guys' are...Raiku's right. An offensive strategy should be played along with the defensive strategy we would be coming up with. It has to go both ways." she said sternly, She couldn't remember seeing where Grimm had gone, but she knew it must have been out of Seireitei...or he could have been responsible for that recent explosion...
Speaking of which... "Prior to this meeting...I was with Raiku, Dalagas, and Axzaki after Grimm left. We were going to scout the area that had suddenly exploded." Akarui then decided to swallow her slight fear. "It came from the direction from Sokyoku Hill. And I would like to be granted the permission to evaluate the situation there... I'm sure there are casualties there too..." "But I am the ember that burns bright."

Tobias Clark
The King in Yellow Tobias listened intently. More than half of the people speaking up wanted to attack whoever had waltzed into the dimension. The shinigami didn't disappoint in the prospect of being somewhat bloodthirsty, almost foolish warriors. At least someone had a level head among them, which Tobias could naturally appreciate. He cleared his throat, before smiling. " So you would want to do battle with people you know almost nothing about. " He commented idly. He shrugged lightly. " The prospect doesn't do me any good. Battling individuals I have absolutely no prior knowledge of, people that could possibly have abilities which render us useless and the like. " Tobias nodded a head towards Axzaki. " He said it best. You all know what went down the last time the Quincy put up an offensive. Suddenly, people couldn't use Bankai. And let's count how many people died. " Tobias made a show of counting off of his fingers, before giving up, and waving his hand. " It just sounds foolish to run headlong into a fight battling, for all intents and purposes, a mystery. "
Tobias sighed, and leaned further into his seat. Sitting on the edge of the Head Captain's chair was surprisingly comfortable. He looked back to Axzaki. " I don't take offense that easily. I'd assume a mystery man that simply... hid around a room for so long might have something to do with it. " He motioned back behind the chair. " Explosions aren't my style though. I'm much more precise than that. If you are hinting that I might have something to do with all of this, then I'd say bring it up with Kenshin, not me. " Tobias couldn't help but chuckle. " He's the one that took me away from my soap operas, said there might be an emergency I could help with. When everything exploded, by my estimation,I had just ended my phone call with the handsome lug right here. " Tobias nudged Kenshin with his elbow, smirking lightly.
" And if I was an enemy, why would I offer my Assistance? You people know quincy are anything but stealthy. " " Dire times are ahead for any man caught in the crossfire. Good thing we Quincy are quick. "

Raiku Sato Squad 10 Captain Raiku sighed as he listened to Tobias insult his thinking. "First off, it's insulting to the dead to use their deaths as a joke." Raiku gave Tobias a slight glare as he said this. He believed in honoring the dead, and it seemed as though he was mocking them. "Second off, I said offensive, I didn't say pointless attacks. Reconnaissance is technically an offensive action, and it is vital to both future attacks, as well as defense. Sitting around the Seireitei idly is equally as foolish as blindly attacking. I know this because of your own example, we chose to stay and wait after your people made their reappearance, even though we knew very little. Waiting for a potentially more powerful enemy to attack is a poor way to gather information. We need to send teams to investigate both the World of the Living, and Hueco Mundo in order to try and discover clues, and maybe if we're lucky, we'll be able to capture one. As for targets, we should target a lower ranked and weaker one with a cloak. That individual should be able to give us some basic information, while at the same time giving us their reishi hiding outfits so that Squad 12 can study them and give us new information, and maybe a way to turn these things against them." Raiku wasn't accustomed to speaking like this, but he knew that just waiting for the enemy was foolish. It was what they had done against both Aizen and the Quincy. They needed to begin some advancing of their own, and besides certain Squad are designed for expeditionary warfare, not defensive action. Though he was kind of surprised that Akarui supported his ideas, she seemed the defensive type to him at first. ""In the end though, we should keep almost all of our forces on defense, but we should use some to begin our advance. Waiting in these walls, could easily turn out to be the same as creating a crypt for ourselves." Raiku then took a breath and waited for the responses.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.кєηѕнιη нιяσѕнι ⇨ ~ Leadership isn't about speeches or being liked... As the other captains spoke, Kenshin remained quiet as he heard them speak. He turned to Jousake, and raised his eyebrow as this man spoke, as he made a valid point. Although he didn't know this man well, he was intrigued by this person and wished to speak to him after the meeting. Though turning his attention to the group, he sighed as he began to speak. "Based off the time that I've been alive and from past experience, something big is indeed heading out way. This was an act of war, and Jousake can easily testify to this fact." Pausing, he turned to Jousake, who nodded his head after hearing this statement.
"Once more, what happened with the traitor Grimm is indeed a tragedy that has hit us. However, right now we need to worry about fixing the Seireitei from all the damage. I have to agree with Tobias' plan. It's a bad idea right now to go on the offensive with an opponent that we have literally no idea about. We don't know where they're based, who's the head of these individuals, and more importantly, the full extent of their power. All we know is that Nocella Kurenai is on their side, and that's bad news for us. Those of us who can remember when she left the Gotei 13, should remember well what she did to some of our best fighters including Jousake, and worst part of it all? She didn't even break a sweat."
Pausing, he allowed once more for his fellow captains to progress his words. Kenshin seemed rather bleak when talking and it was clear that some of the captains didn't like that. Then turning to Tobias, he sighed and spoke for one last time. "As for Tobias, you needn't not worry about him. I wouldn't have called someone over like him to aid the Gotei 13 if I knew he would turn against us. Though for now, no one is to go on the offensive and attempt to attack an enemy we know absolutely nothing about. Right now all we can do is stay here, prepare our defenses and repair the Seireitei for the events that are going to come."

Raiku Sato Squad 10 Captain Raiku looked at Kenshin and shoot his head in irritation. It was true that they knew nothing about their opponent, but sitting back and doing nothing wouldn't give them any new information. However, he knew that it would be pointless to argue with Kenshin, "I guess I'll just have to disobey and use what I've got at my disposal." Raiku then looked around the room and turned towards the exit. "Well, I guess since we've decided on a strategy that we're done. Since we're done, I'm going to go check on my own Squad." Raiku then opened the door and left without waiting for Kenshin to actually tell him the meeting was over. To Raiku, Kenshin was nothing more than a typical Shinigami, which made him distrust the man greatly. (Exit)

~Captain Of Eighth Division~ "Some say I was just flare in the fire..." Sitting quietly and listening to Tobias and Kenshin, she found herself nodding in agreement.... It was best to know who they were fighting before actually fighting... Kenshin really rarely said anything but to rebuild Seireitei, and she had no problem helping. Her head jerked up to see Raiku making his way out of the captain's hall...before he was permitted. Akarui found herself staring hopelessly at the ground, then waiting for orders. ...She still wanted to check out what happened in the explosion area... '...Maybe I can ask Rai-kun to help me out...' she thought to herself. The captain found herself sighing and waiting for time to pass. "But I am the ember that burns bright."

Tobias Clark
The King in Yellow He would smirk, even against the various insults and everyone leaving shortly after. Tobias was definitely a man who didn't let that sort of thing drag down a good mood. It made the man an enigma; in that he could have a good mood even with the possibility of war on the horizon. He smiled wide, before turning and throwing himself from the side of Kenshin's chair. He would go into a small twist, waiting for the last of the people to clear from the room, leaving Kenshin and Tobias their privacy for the moment.
It was so interesting, Tobias thought to himself. This was all great! Even if there was a war with some weirdo masked men, Tobias could definitely enjoy the time in between the battles, and the fun that could be had making new friends. Unlike a great deal of his species, Tobias held nothing against the shinigami. Sure, there was a bad spit in the past, a couple for that matter, but Tobias didn't mind now. Past was past, now was now.
When everyone had left, Tobias stopped spinning, and came up in front of Kenshin. He still kept the smile on his face, and with hos he jittered slightly, it seemed as if the King was absolutely filled with energy. " Well, Kenshin. I had heard you had become the Head Captain. " He smiled even wider, bowing his head. " But your men suck. Did you see that one man I was talking with? Jeeze, I wouldn't be surprised if we found him TOTALLY disobeying you. " Tobias crossed his arms. " Trust me. Being King for long enough gives a guy insight onto how people like to do things. That look in his eyes, and the way he walked out of the place... It would seem to me he is planning something. " Tobias shrugged, before spinning once more. " Not my concern though. I just came to add some firepower. " Tobias winked.
" Ahh, one last thing. " Tobias remarked with a smile, and pointing his finger into the air. " We need to discuss our terms. I've come, just as asked. I will provide my fire power, and I will likewise give you counsel on how to deal with the coming war. " Tobias winked. " but I definitely want something out of it. " Tobias smiled, before gliding over the the seat again, and setting his palms on the arm. He leaned close to Kenshin. " Make me some offers. What have you? " " Dire times are ahead for any man caught in the crossfire. Good thing we Quincy are quick. "

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.кєηѕнιη нιяσѕнι ⇨ ~ Leadership isn't about speeches or being liked... Once all the captains left the meeting hall, Kenshin chuckled at Tobias' remark about the Raiku fella. The man did have a point about this set of captain's, as they still weren't over the death of Animus, and it was clear that they still didn't trust the man that was put in charge of them. Sighing, he looked up and Tobias and nodded his head. "Well this is what I honestly have to work with to be honest man."
Chuckling, Kenshin got up. "I just wish they wouldn't act like such children at times. I mean I get that they still aren't over the death of the previous Captain Commander, but still. Though I wouldn't be surprised if that fella would disobey orders and try to hunt them down." Sighing, he then addressed Tobias' final comment. "Why of course my dear old friend."
Smiling, Kenshin sat down and began to think of some thoughts. "Why don't you name your price Tobias? I can't honestly think of something that would please you. Though please be fair. We wouldn't want a dispute breaking out between us now, do we?" Chuckling, Kenshin remained quiet, as he waited to hear just what this man wanted from him.

Tobias Clark
The King in Yellow Tobias nodded lightly. It was somewhat disheartening to hear that his friend was having such troubles with his subordinates. It was almost disgusting to listen in on Kenshin's troubles. He wouldn't dream of the day he would experience troubles with his men and women. They were so small in number, and so nearly related that everyone had only the best in mind concerning the future of the Quincy populace. Tobias likewise wouldn't have stood for anything of the sort; quickly dealing with the insubordination. He voiced that personal belief. " If I were you... I wouldn't stand for something like that. If I have any reason to suspect a member of my militia casting his lot in with such things as insubordination, there are things to behold. "Tobias smirked. " You know how far my anger takes me at times, when the notion strikes me. I'm surprised you don't take a show of power, and subjugate these light hearted fools in a way only fools can be subjugated. Use that power of yours for something constructive. " Tobias smiled, before nodding.
It pleased him greatly to hear Kenshin allow him to name his price. While it made him feel like a common mercenary or kin to the folk, Tobias would definitely be able to make a deal benefiting him more than it would the Gotei. Call him greedy, But Tobias was cunning enough to level the fact Kenshin needed his firepower against him. " Hmmm... " Tobias made the sound before he pressed his fingers to his lips, and straightened up. He made a note of going over what he wanted, what he needed, and what some of the Quincy might want or need as well. A basic list had been surmised within Tobias' head by the time, he pointed in the air, as if discovering a clue in the midst of a murder case.
" Myself and my people are going to be put in danger in the coming battles, and you well understand how small our numbers are. You should also understand the fact I only have a handful of Quincy capable of even defeating a small class menos. This naturally increases my asking price. " Tobias thought for a moment longer. " My people and I are providing needed firepower, tactical help, and a field advantage in the World of the Living. So, I want this. " Tobias smiled.
He pointed a finger, and pulled out a notepad and an ink pen. " I'll Notarize. I want One hundred units of Seki-Seki rock, Three hundred units of Spiritually synthesized glass, metal, cement, wood, and plastic each. I also want access to the Gotei's Research and Development department that will end under two conditions; The Quincy either exceed a converted cost of 10 million U.S. Dollars, or exceed and time measuring one decade. " Tobias nodded. " To finish up the deal, I would like to acquire a total of Soul Synthesized Silver equaling an amount equal to 200 thousand U.S. Dollars. This will be paid immediately, so as to allow the Quincy to fabricate needed weaponry. The rest can be paid in installments once this whole mess is done. " Tobias smiled deeply. " I have some insight as to the Gotei Thirteen's various liquid and non-liquid means, and I find this well within the boundary of what you people are capable of. I'm open to negotiation on the fronts besides that of the R&D Access and the Soul-Silver. " Tobias finished writing, and looked to Kenshin. " What say you? " " Dire times are ahead for any man caught in the crossfire. Good thing we Quincy are quick. "

Listening to what Tobias wanted in exchange for his services, Kenshin didn't giving the man what he was asking for. However, when he got into the topic of Research and Development department. He looked at the man and sighed. "Just what do you plan on doing exactly with access to the Research and Development department Tobias? We wouldn't want anyone abusing this access now, do we?"
Chuckling, Kenshin wondered what this man planned to do with all of these things. More importantly, why he wanted to have access to the Research and Development Department? Hopefully Kenshin would get answers from this man before agreeing to all of this man's conditions.
