Travis chuckled. "You mean that 'glow'? Wonder if my fur will look shinier or something when I--oh!" His eyes widened as he looked down at his larger belly, putting his hands to it. "I--I felt something. Like a flutter or--there it is again! Oh my gosh I really am pregnant!" He reached down into his pouch, hanging open slightly due to the distending of his middle, and felt along it more closely.

"Yep! Although I'm not sure how yours is going to work, what with the pouch and all. Seeing a kick might be interesting." Jessie said trying to lean forward a little to feel his distended, fur-covered belly.

Travis sheepishly lifted his hands, letting the girl touch his swollen middle. He blushed to realize it felt better than he thought as she ran her fingers through his fur and pressed against his growing... whatever he had. "If... If I'm like a kangaroo, I guess I'll birth in the pouch... I think." He sighed contentedly, a small part of his mind wondering just what the heck he thought he was doing feeling better about this situation.

"I'd actually call that lucky. You won't have to go through the extra pain of pushing it out in the end. Your kid's probably just going to poke its fully developed head out one day and go 'here I am!' I'd be a little jealous if I weren't getting used to this." Jessie said with a smile in spite of herself.

"I think I'll still have to push it out into the pouch," he said with a begrudging shrug. "If it ever wants to come out... My pouch is empty right now. I could use it for storage, I guess." He chuckled.

Matthew continued to play so well that a crowd of monster girls, and guys had surrounded them. Throwing money down at this feet a few of them shouted for him to keep playing. Blinking in surprise he looked at Jason.
"You wanna help me out? I've got a harmonica in my pocket. I guess music does soothe the savage beast eh?" he said with a smile as he switched his song to a toe-tapping somba.
This caused the monsters to all dance the somba. Matt had to admit this was kind of fun!

"That doesn't seem...very sanitary to me." Jessie said with a slight frown as she heard some ruckus going on outside and got up to look. "What on earth is going on out there?" she wondered as she looked out the window to see a large crowd gathered a short ways away.

Lana woke up with slowly as the sound of music entered her conciousnes. She groaned slightly, disoriented. She felt extremely thristy and heavier. She looked around and squinted. It took longer for her eyes to focus then it should have. For a moment she wasn't sure where she was, but the past few hours came quickly back to mind. Sighing she sat up, then tried to stand. She wobbled, realizing she was heavier than before. Looking down she saw that she had grow bigger while she napped. She now look as if she was around the end of her second trimester. Except it had been hours not months that had past. Lana got used to the weigh quickly and looked around for the others. "Mary? Jessie? You there?" she called, walked toward the kitchen. "Can I have another glass of water?" When she found Jessie there was a stranger there. A half kanagroo man that was either really fat or pregnent. "Urr... I see we got another."

"The guy just came in... He's in the same situation as us." Mary told Lana. She then looked at her belly and said, "You've gotten way bigger. Of course you're nowhere near as big as me. I might very well be two months into my second trimester." Mary smiled and added, "I really am still surprised how big one can grow in a matter of hours thanks to those space rocks. I don't think I'm ever going to get over that."
--
Outside Jason watched the monsters surround them and whispered to Matthew, "Are you stupid? The moment the you stop playing we're lunch meat. I'm not going to help you out at all. If you think you'd like to entertain these things than go ahead. Lead them away like that one weird tale about St. Patrick. That would really do the village some good." Jason stood up and glared at all the monsters unhappily. He shook his fists at them and wondered how they might respond to him.

Lana smiled over her shoulder at him, as her turned on the fauct. She was able to find a large cup that would last her awhile. "I don't think I will either. Let's just hope that this only happened when we touch the rock from now on and not...you know... when this happens normally." she blushed a little. She took a swig and turned to face them all. Her once dark green eyes were now larger and almost black. "So, I'm Lana." she introduced herself to the newcomer. Glad you could just us." she smiled. She wonder if she really should be happy about this, but she was ceasing to care. Closing her eyes she listened to the music in the distance. "Hmmm. That beautiful." She would love to see were that's coming from. She started to hum a slow descant to the simple tune.

The monsters seemed to ignore Jason happily fixated on Matthew. The Bard was a bit dissapointed I guess Matt was the only one who appreciated music. Out of curiosity he stopped.
The monsters looked at him wanting Matthew to play more. One of them even grabbed him and lifted the bard above his head. "PLAY! PLAY!!' they all cheered.
Now looking at Jason he gave a shrug and began to play again, this time though he was being carried off. When he was finally put down he was in the square. Surrounded by more monster people they all wanted him to play his music. Matthew was touched, they hadn't lost their sense of Humanness yet.
With a wide grin he cleared his throat. "Thank you so much for liking my songs! Here's one I wrote while I was traveling!" he said as he began to play a soft and slow melody. The monster people grabbed partners and began to slow dance around him. To be honest this was a little weird, but at least it gave him hope.

Lana looked to the others. "I think I'm going to see where that's coming from. There might be someone like us that way." she said as an excuse. She really just wanted to go listen. Heading out with a waved she walked down the street, rubbing her belly absently. A few blocks and several turns later she found the player. A normal human being in the middle of a bunch of dancing creatures. People who had changed due to the rock. Lana walked to where the man was and sat beside him, letting her feet rest in the water he was sitting by. She gave him a brief smile in greeting, before joining him. Her soprano voice harmonizing with his melody. She closed her eyes, swaying slightly as she followed his lead, letting the music take her were it will. She was always good with music, but a part of her was wondering when her voice had ever sounded like this.

Matthew's guitar stopped suddenly as he stopped to look at Lana. Her voice was heavenly. "Uhh..h-hello." he said noticing she still looked human though her ears looked oddly fin shaped. A gentle smile graced his lips, FINALLY someone with a taste for music.
Everyone around them looked dissapointed until he held up his hand and began to play a jazzy beat testing to see how well this mysterious girl could keep up with him.

"Hello" she said, smiling happily. This was fun. She was a little disappointed when the song ended, but he seemed to be willing to play somemore. As he started at play again she listened carefully. It was to jazzy to just sing 'la la la' to. So she memorized the tune, thinking of something to go along with it. There might be a poem she read that might work. "The sun is setting, setting fast, and the stars are peeking out..." she poem was one she like about night coming in and enjoying with one's lover. Hearing it with such an upbeat tune, made her smile and her eyes dance with laughter.

"Um, I really hate to say this, but how many more people are you going to attract here?" Jason asked with worry in his voice. He'd seen Lana come just now and realized she was slightly more normal than most of the other creatures that had stopped by to listen thus far. Still the monsters being attracted to music was quite strange.
