Why had Lafayette been so silent? Because the second he'd seen those massive tentacles pop out, well, the familiar had flat out fainted. Flat on his back, tongue stuck out, still as a corpse sort of deal.
Well, at least until a few seconds ago.
"WAAAAAAAH."
Once again, Mitsu and Shun would be interrupted by a small scaly creature wriggling between them, shaking as his eyes darted about.
"Is it secret? Is it safe?" he hissed in a whisper. "Did they kill our castle? I was supposed to do that! B-But it was so biiiiig . . ."

His expression immediately darkened. So this was the Moure..... The man looked as though he was about to say something – a lot of things – that's until his wife intervened.
“Hello Moure, it's nice to meet you,” she smiled, sounding uncannily like Edel. Creepy.
Meanwhile, the man had pulled his daughter aside and an elaborate conversation had taken place with the two of them using only their facial expressions. It was surprisingly civil, though that may have been due to the weather affecting them. Their conversation was long from over, however, but it would have to be continued later.
“I'll see you later,” both ladies chimed, moving on to drag their partners away to each corner of the tent. Disaster had been evaded ... for now.
“I think ... I need a drink,” Edel murmured, seemingly unaffected by the situation, or perhaps she was simply feigning nonchalance. Either way, she wasn't exactly responsive to how stiffly Moure was behaving, or that he was freaking out on the inside. Perhaps it was a message telling him to relax ... or that the weather was still affecting her.
“Would you like one?” she offered, holding out a cup of cold drink to Moure. The frost demon took a sip from hers and looked back up. A pause.
“I hope you don't mind them, my parents can be a little intimidating at times.”

As soon as the little familiar found his way back between them Mitsu tried to pat him reassuringly. " I think its safe now." The tentacles were go...though so were a few of the sandcastles. " It looks like things are wrapping up now that most of the castles are destroyed." Standing to her feet she hoisted the little alligator into her arms so that they would have a better vantage point to see. " Should we go have a look?"

"It's safe. The Kraken was here just for the trial," Shun said quietly before looking towards the shore. There was quite a bit of sandcastle destruction to say in the very lease. "If you would like, we can. However... I do not believe there is much to see at this point."

"If I didn't kill it, it's not worth it," Lafayette decided with a huff, his fear apparently dissipated now that he was sandwiched between them. Meatshields! "Was it really a kraken? It was so big! Like it could eat a hundred me's!" Did they even eat meat? They appeared to like crashing castle parties more by the looks of it.
"Can I stay with you guys?" he asked pleadingly, glancing between them with big eyes. "Until it's over? It's fun. Even with Grumpy~" plus they knew people, and he liked meeting new people!

" I think it was a kraken, that's what the announcer said. Could have been a giant octopus maybe? Or a tentigoat. Would they have those here?" Mitsu wasn't entirely sure. " Of course, you can stay with us." Mitsu was rather fond of the little gator. It didn't bother her at all that he asked so many questions that mostly she failed to answer. Looking to Shun the lycan frowned a bit. True most of the sandcastles were gone it seemed but that didn't mean they could move around and check up on some people. No doubt they had a bit of a rough time, especially being tiny. " Well, why don't we check on some people?"

"Very well," Shun nodded while getting on up to his feet. He dismissed the 'grumpy' comment Lafayette said. Once he was up, he glanced over at Shenny and nodded quietly to her, sort of signaling that he was walking off now. "Lead the way," he said, letting Mitsu head to wherever she wanted. ((Exit))

"Tentagoats aren't that big. I could eat them," he declared proudly. Lafayette wasn't very much in the mood to go looking at the destruction of things he didn't kill himself but, well, he did want to stay with them. He managed to balance on his hind legs and pawed at Mitsu's leg to be carried, ready to be whisked away.(( Exit with Mitsu post again XD ))

Scooping the little gator up, Mitsu made her way toward the sandcastles to have a look to see what was still standing.

Kekoa's eyes lit up at the thought of meeting the Mindfyler. "Can we go to the spot were the mindflyer is? Or we could split up then meet back here in a little while. How does that sound, Lumi?" He asked as he talked a bit fast as he thought about meeting it. He had read up on other kinds of monsters, demons, ghosts, and undead in his spare time, but nothing else would really excite him like a mindflyer. "If you wanna go with me, we can meet over there! I'll see you soon!" He said before dashing off towards the smashed castles. [[Exit]]

What the heck was a mindflyer Lumi thought as she scrambled to follow the boil. It seemed harmless enough to try and at least blend in. Perhaps he had friends there. Gosh it would have been better to have at least kept an eye on him as he rushed to the castles. [[EXIT]]

"I doubt that you are older than I am, unless mermaids can retain their youth," He replied before talking a seat under the umbrella again, idly watching the participants as Biskoto decided to coil around his shoulder so that she could watch the trial too; the fact that the participants were shrunk made it difficult to see anything, however, since all he could see were crabs. Followed by the tide coming in. Followed by... Tentacles? Although the following statement wasn't really true...
"... Now that it's over," He looked over at Amphi, "Do you want to go and see your friends and see how they are doing?"

Moure was ready for whatever the man had planned to say, imagining it ranging from how could an undead dare to even think about dating his daughter to what did he think he was doing, carrying her around like that, to a lot more unpleasantries that he didn't care to dwell on. He could only watch tensely as the frost demon looked like he was going to speak.
However, Edel's mom intervened instead, and Moure immediately knew who Edel took after. Relief and greatfulness flickered across his face as he glanced to Edel's mother, before shifting momentarily to the wordless conversation going on between his ghoulfriend (could he call her that now?) and her father. Then he looked back to the frost demons as they returned, and nodded respectfully to her two parents as Edel and her mother seperated the four into their respective two groups.
"Oh? Oh, yeah, cold drinks so you can cool off." Moure said, reminded of his reason for coming here. She seemed alright with the situation, so perhaps he hadn't failed his first meeting with her parents? Any stiffness melted somewhat, leaving behind the usual Moure. The usual, concerned-for-Edel-In-The-Sun Moure, anyway. His brow furrowed slightly, still worried about her health in this heat. "Is the shade helping at all?"
"Sure." Moure took the cup Edel offered, a thankful smile playing across his features for a moment before took a sip. "Thank you."
Moure was a little surprised when Edel spoke up again, looking to her with a shake of his head, "I don't mind, really. I'm happy that you have parents who care so much for you." If they didn't care, they wouldn't have come all the way out into this heat to watch her, right? And by being intimidating, they were just trying to protect their little ghoul. Worry etched across his features again, and his hand reached to the back of his head. "I blew it, didn't I? I must've made the worst first impression... I didn't get you in trouble though, did I?"

"Oh Xiu!" She squeaked as she got up, rushing out of the spectators area....and then rushing back to take his hand and pull him along, "Come on Biskoto!!!!" One hand pulled him, the other typed a small text to Lizzy.Dragain Text: Hope ur alright, visiting Xiu at her castle, come see you next? :'O
