[Enter from labyrinth!]
Just like that, He was out of the portal. He landed, eyes darting about for signs that everyone had made it back out. He didn't have time to complete his search, as already his was faced with what he assumed was the grim reaper bearing down on them all.
He cocked his gun and aimed, but he was still moving and ended up tripping, his shot going wide and no were near it's target.
He cursed. That was a amateur move, and he knew it.

Judging from a very telltale lack of resistance from her weapon connecting with the invader, C grumbled to herself, swinging the chain back around to give it another go. She'd missed the things in the cages, missed the things from the portals...where was her head today?
Don't think about dying. Don't think about dying.
The heavy chain of braided barbed wire whipped towards the shadowed figure again, whistling faintly as it cut through the chilled air. Its strike felt substantially more significant than the first, and C could only hope that their collective efforts were really doing something.

Dave could only blink in shock and freeze in his tracks as a familiar gun was right under his nose. Along with a familiar but decidedly roughed up face.
"s**t. Jess. Jess. Its me! Don't shoot!" That was the last thing he would need would be to survive arrows to the knee, deadly spikes, shrinking rooms, and then to be killed by his own best friend.
Even in the face of her threat, he could not suppress the knot of pure elation that lurked in his gut at seeing her alive again. He'd thought entering that hellish maze that that would be it. "Looks like s**t's gotten bad up here. Its REALLY bad down there. It was a trap! All of it! We are in trouble."

"As you wish." He brought one hand to his chest and mockly bowed, obeying Caelius's curt order. The relationship they entertained infuriated Caelius yet amused Profe. But he found his old teammates most enjoyable, even in his rational and even shallow view of life.
The entrance of the other hunters was observed but not remarked upon. However, there was a certain somebody whose shout reached them, even over the battlefield. He looked over mildly to Gear's entrance, even as he ran past them. "....." He had to admit that they had stranger hunters than he was. If Profe could come to accept them as anomalies in the system, then Gear was no different. Still, he found himself staring after the rather exuberant young man, shielding his eyes from the glare of the sun by holding his hand above his head. "Since when were you taken Andy?" He asked in a tone as casual as if she had gotten her hair cut or wore a new outfit. "Just a date? Why not that and a bit more? We'll all die soon anyways."
Taking out his guns from its holsters strapped on his thighs, he fired off a tirade of shots. There was no need to think about it in the heat as battle -- dead or alive, Profe didn't care. As long as he could dissect it. It was during his shots that he thought to spare a look for Caelius. "I don't discriminate." It was unclear as to what he was referring to. "I wouldn't mind you either Caelius. How about it?" And there it was, a grin again.
"You know that you want to."

After a little while, the amount of people coming in had tapered off. Among the incoming crowd that was now wailing on the beast that had gotten out, Julio took note that Em wasn't there. He quickly scanned the area to see if he could spot her, but it was to no avail. For a moment, he paused and furrowed his brow. It hadn't seemed like the FEAR hunters had gotten into a fight. Something else must have caused a hold up. The division leaders hadn't shown themselves again after all. Most likely it wasn't something to worry about, he figured. Well, until one of the FEAR hunters mentioned it had been a trap. "Wait. A trap?" he asked, looking towards Dave, "What happened in there?"

The figure simply pressed forward, paying no notice to any of the Hunters' attacks as it clutched the orb in its hands. "Mrrrr.... where.... we do not like it here....too many insects....hungry."
The shadows had begun to peel off its form with every blow, revealing dusky brown robes, ribs, the glimpse of chaotic yellow eyes-
- as it shrieked one more time, using its attack to slip away entirely.OOC GONE???-the ??? is GONE. Hunters better heal and clean up, but where are the leads or assistant leads...?

She froze. s**t. She quickly lowered her gun, turning her head to stare at him with her unbloodied eye. "Oh s**t! Sir!" She quickly backed up giving him room. Oh crap, she almost killed him. But... what? A trap? Fuuuck.
"We're all going to die now aren't we?!" She rattled her head again before looking up at her previous target... it... Oh crap. This was it. She backed up, back towards him taking more than the personal space she just gave him.
"What do we do sir?" She meant it. Even with the returning fear hunters, they were royally screwed.
But then.. ugh that sound again. She instinctively flinched but.. then they were gone. What? Were they spared? She quickly gave Dave a dazed uncertain look.
"Nevermind?" She asked.

Dave caught someone asking nearby exactly what had happened down there and found himself wishing he'd actually been in the center to be able to tell the entire story. But he'd certainly gathered enough. So he summarised as best he could for both Jess and the hunter who'd requested the info.
"Something happened in the center. A hostile. Mentioned something about this whole thing being a trap. Order to withdraw was given almost right after. All hunters. Don't know if the leads are still down there with it. It sounded in control whatever it was. We were to reconvene here and await..."
He stared as he only /just/ now noticed the figure nearby, and just in time too as he got a look at it for just a moment before flinching and covering his ********! What the hell was /that/?"
He was certainly swearing a lot today, he thought it was warranted.

Wolf twitched and winced, the shriek immobilizing him for a moment. His eyes widening at the yellow eyes beneath the shadows. Eyes like the ones in the labyrinth. He glanced around. Where were the leads? He suddenly felt very much like a wolf who'd lost his pack to an enemy.
Calm down, pup, muttered Skoll. Not once had Skoll called him by his name, a fact that Wolf was actually alright with. There wasn't much of his past he enjoyed remembering, and liked keeping it that way. He kept on alert however, and flicked his eyes around the area.
It seemed... entirely too easy to just beat it like that. Entirely too much so. IF the labyrinth had been a trap, there was a good chance this was too. He took a breath, calming his nerves as much as he could.
Better to be alert when he got shot in the back, then staring off into space, right?

Aaron had arrived at a horrible, horrible time, that was punctuated with a head-splitting shriek. As he instinctively jerked his head down and covered his ears, he caught a glimpse of something--a strange, unnerving figure. However, by the time he glanced back up, he found that they had disappeared, which was not reassuring in the least. Whatever that thing had been...
Perking up, he suddenly scanned his new surroundings, taking in the sight of the other Hunters. Some were Runic Hunters, he knew, and the FEAR Hunters must have warped from the same place as he had. And then...Ferdinand? Was he here too, she wondered? Or had his division head remained behind with that "hostile", whoever--or whatever--it was?
There wasn't much time to dwell on that. Glancing over towards whoever was closest--in this case, Lucas--the young man grimaced. "Just what the hell happened here?"

And Profe sucked just about as badly as he always did. Caelius opened his mouth to retort-
-Before the Fear thing swept them all away and disappeared. The only feeling left was a strange ominous trepidation : what were those creatures that they had just let escape?
So instead of answering Profe's question, he simply did everyone a favour, took his spare roll of bandages and emptied them into the other's mouth, doing his Thinking Thing as he furrowed his brows trying to piece together what just happened, intentionally or unintentionally saying nothing to Andy or Hat Guy (seriously why were they stalking her when there were other so many nicer looking ladies?)

"Sir." She started giving him a genuinely concerned look. "We have no leaders right now?" She zoned right in on this... "Do you think they left us to die?"
It was a terrible question, but one she felt needed answering... even if that answer was a lie to make her feel better.

That was definitely not good news. Julio looked back towards the portal, but still didn't see the leads or Em coming on out. Perhaps a few stayed back to watch the 'flanks' more or less. But.. if that were the case they should be returning soon right? "Oh that? Just some FEAR creature we've been smacking. Doesn't seem to be--" He cringed as it shrieked, revealing a little more of itself before disappearing. "..Well apparently it was a screamer. Not exactly the kind you'd like to hear in bed though," he murmured while rubbing his ears, "Two others had shown up too but they slipped past real quick."

Before Zoey could make a remark on how Lucas seemed to be going Dragon Ball Z on them, the thing decided to showcase its lovely voice to them all. The hand torch was immediately dropped as she once against covered her ears - it wasn't as bad behind the barrier, but still a horrifying noise was a horrifying noise. Insects, the thing called them. Hungry. Another shiver went down her spine as she caught a glimpse of eerie yellow eyes before the creature slipped out of their line of sight.
The Death hunter's body relaxed somewhat, and with a grunt she picked her weapon back up and waved it down to help cool it quicker - Zoey was sure they wouldn't be left alone for very much longer. Speaking of: the FEAR Hunters from before were beginning to pour in again, which begged the question: where were those two?
Oh look, her body tensed all over again.
"H-Had a good solid plan there. Sad to see Bacon didn't get its full moment of glory," she told Lucas and Mya, poking a finger in her ear to make sure it still worked. "Thanks for the good one, guys. Team up again next time? F'right now, I gotta go find some friends; bet you do too." She saluted them a little with her hand torch and waded through the Hunters to get to Cliff.
"I only quote my favorite people, you know~ Now c'mon . . . we need to go find the boys. Pretty sure they'll be back in, like, a few seconds, and Isaac'll bawl if he doesn't see us the second he comes out."
And Zoey might at this point give him a reason to cry if Adam also wasn't there.x_Nata_x Plan Bacooooon 8((( NEXT TIME. Seussi MORE GIRL POWAH NEXT TIME MAYBE Y/Y? ramenli More O U GEEZER in a sec!

Lowe had cried out as the arrow was pulled free, his body shuddered from the pain. His head bowed over as his grip shifted on Afzal, and when the bandages started to be placed on him he managed to finally catch back his breath. Marsh had come for him, had treated his wounds, and Lowe could only close his eyes and softly smile.
Sorry Afzal, but I'm breaking the promise even more.
YOU WOULD. IF I WAS ABLE TO, WHEN YOU DIE, I WOULD SPIT ON YOUR BODY.
"Marsh...thank you." Lowe looked for the man as soon as the creature, likely a Horseman itself, vanished. People were talking and healing, and Lowe...wanted to say something. Eventually. "I....I am glad I got to see you again."
DIG DIG DIG
"Have you seen Em? Did she make it out?"
