Joker nodded, then tossed the card into the air vertically, the card spinning upright so that it presented a small spinning taget that faced Rosie.

The barrel of her gun followed the card, and then her finger jerked the trigger very quickly twice. A long projectile came shooting out of the gun and snapped the card out of the air. A BANG flag lodged itself in the ceiling, the flag tucked against the pole from the card that was was caught on it. Shot dead center.

Joker seemed... Surprised. "We'd never done it with the flags before." He then looked back at Joker Rosie with a VERY approving smile. "So THAT'S why you wanted that Uno Attack game..."

Rosie lowered the gun and smiled up at him. Very happy to see the approval on his face. "I've been practicing." she replied.
The little witch Rosie just stared up at the flag round with wide eyes. Her duplicate could.....shoot a gun? She had just a fear of guns before.....wow.

Lucas immediately stood up. "Hey!" he said to the Joker, "I dunno just who you think you are, but giving a little girl a gun is not right!"
He then calmly walked over to Rosie, got down on one knee to look her in the eye, and said to her: "Rosie, please give me that gun. You could wind up hurting someone with it-- especially yourself. I don't want that to happen."

Joker chuckled, and got down on one knee next to Rosie, looking at Lucas. "Don't be silly. She's not going to hurt anyone with it. I've spent the better part of half a year teaching her proper gun control. She can shoot an outline around me if you give her enough bullets. Or flags, apparently. If she hurts someone with it, it's BECAUSE she meant to."

Rosie looked over at Lucas as he knelt down beside her and just stared at him. The look on her face, it was clear she didn't recognise who he was.
The little witch Rosie, however, did seem to recognise him and smiled. She knew what she was doing for fun tonight. The place was certainly big enough to run around in.
Rosie looked over at Joker as he knelt down beside her, then back over at Lucas with a confident little smile. "I can too. Half of my stuffed animals are outlined with suction darts. And...." she said, looking down at her snubnose. "I wouldn't give you this gun anyway. It's my favorite." she said, glancing up at Joker.

Lucas frowned. This must be some duplicate of the Rosie he knew, he decided. He looked into the Joker's Rosie's eyes, and said quite calmly: "Then I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to take this from you."
He gently tugged the gun out of her hand, and had half a mind to smash it in half, but he'd upset not just one, but probably both Rosies. Instead, he pocketed it.
"Guns are not something little kids should be playing with," he said, to both Rosie and Joker. "And if they're not playing with them, they're killing with them. Even if this Rosie doesn't know me, I'm not going to let her become a killer. And you..."
He looked to the Joker, staring the clown down without an ounce of fear-- partly because he didn't know about the Joker, and partly because he would be capable of withstanding most anything the Joker threw his way.
"Teaching a five year old how to shoot a pistol isn't exactly a wise parenting move..." he hissed. He detected the pheromones coming from Joker's Rosie, and deduced that she viewed him as a parent, especially because of the "dare" she had given Joker earlier.

Rosie frowned, and made a small noise in protest as her gun was taken away from her. The gun Joker had gotten for her before Gossamer and him ahd a fall out. She looked up at Lucas, then over at Joker.
The other Rosie just watched and listened. She frowned some and looked back at Vice. He arched and eyebrow at the scene and looked down at her. "Guess I should get going soon, huh kiddo?'
Rosie's frown fell more, and she looked back at Lucas.

Joker picked her up and whispered in her ear, "Don't worry about it, kiddo. I'll get you a matching pair this time if I can't get it back." Then turning to face Lucas, he said, looking completely serious, "First of all, that's theft. I want that back. Second, you took that from a CHILD. That's just mean. Third, she just exhibited better knowledge of how to USE that than some adults. Why don't you get that pine tree out of your derriere and live a little?"

Arell noticed the Snubnose Rosie had and nudged C.J., pointing to the gun.
"Me chah! Are dey gettin' younger wit' gun ownin' ages or somethin'?" Arell asked as C.J. looked up, almost done cleaning up the mess.
"I dunno, that popgun wouldn't do much . . . trust me." C.J. replied. He didn't like using guns, but he knew a lot about them . . . mainly because he watched Arell and Dundee cleaning their firearms when the three of them went bounty hunting with Uncle Jonah.

Lucas didn't back down. "Small children can't legally own firearms in the United States. This particular small child is old enough to be just out of preschool. And no reasonable, or sane, parent would teach their own child how to use a gun at that age. I'm surmising Rosie isn't yours, so you're not exactly setting the best example for her. And the only reason I haven't beaten you within an inch of your life right now is because I don't want to upset her."
Then he stopped, and blinked. Since when did he threaten people like that? That... that wasn't him. Sure, he was upset, but... He shook his head.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that..." he said. "I... I don't know what came over me. I, uh... I need some fresh air."
With that, Lucas hurried to the door and opened it, but then paused for a long moment. His pheromones, Alex would notice, were a mix of frustration, embarrassment, and confusion. He pulled out the snubnose, stared at it for a long moment, then looked to Rosie, and back to the gun. His hand started to shake, and he lost his grip on the gun, but he was fast-walking out of the building before it even hit the floor.

Alex watched Lucas rush out the door with a worried expression on her face. She gave a glance towards Sapphire, then jumped up from her seat and hurried out the door after him.
"Luke?" she called out as she stepped outside.
Sapphire watched the two rush out the door with the same worried expression.
The little witch pointed a finger at the gun before it hit the ground, and it stopped in mid-air. Carefully, she floated it back over towards her other half and lifted it up so that she could take it again.
Thent she glanced back at the closed door Lucas had ran out of and frowned.
"......okay. I guess I'll just stay in here then." Vice mumbled.

C.J. looked up as Luke and Alex left for the door. He was half tempted to join them, but he just met half of these folks . . . he did see that Sapphire was worried. He walked over.
"Anything I can do to help?" he asked.

Carlie, who was curiously unaffected by Vice's powers in her current state, had watched everything that had gone on since she had arrived... and right now, wasn't sure what the hell to think. She looked to C.C., and her ears twitched a bit in a silent form of questioning.
Meanwhile, Lucas was already a fair distance from the building when Alex caught up with him. He stopped, looked up at the night sky, and let out a deep breath. Then he turned to Alex.
"... Why did I say that? I... I... I have never threatened anyone like that... It... I can't allow myself to act like that..."
