Tomoko frowned at Arel. "But..this is what I do!" She said, looking rather bothered, but the illusion broke when her concentration waivered and she dropped to her knees, suddenly on the floor of the hallway of the hall.
The kitsune sat there for a long and pathetic moment before she got up, looking to Alwine to give the shawl back to before she went to curl up underneath a blanket. She was cold! ;;

"It happened again. Another pendant, another sudden journey. And this..." The plague doctor reached into its sleeve, but found no skeletal hand. Hrm. Strange, but the bit of fabric was still there. Just a bit of tattered cloth with a golden edge, badly degraded and damaged. It held that bit out to Jericho and whoever else was around. "Strange, to find remains and clothing beneath the snow at that exact spot. Surely, they are connected?"

Looking over towards the Plague Doctor to see what it had brought back, Jericho peered curiously at the bit of cloth. He carefully took it to give it a better look but he wasn't really sure what to make of it.
"Hard to say. Though maybe the remains used to be wearing this bit. Gotta wonder what happened exactly," he said before offering it back, "Maybe they just froze to death."

Alwine had no idea about Arel tricking them. A moment ago, her hands were dipped in the snow-- trying to make a moat, actually.
Then, her hands hit the hard floor of the hallway. She looked around, but the professor/secretary/whatever was nowhere to be found. At that moment, it didn't matter. They were all safe, they were all back.
The ghost inelegantly fell forward to the floor and sighed, "I think I'll just rest here for a moment... or two..."

Malodore studied the scrap of fabric, its brow furrowing slightly underneath the bone of its mask. "Perhaps we were just attracted there because of the remains. Graveyards are meant to be fertile places for our kind, yes? We appeared in one the first time we were moved to the Human World." The scrap might well just be a curiosity. Still, it was from the Human World, so the plague doctor carefully tucked the fabric back into its sleeve.
"If all is well... I would as soon be gone from this place. Who knows if it will happen again." It gave the walls a suspicious look.

Mot so much as blinked, and suddenly he was lying in the hallway. Warm, hallway. No Snow save for what stuck to him and inside his boots. The reaper got up, taking his coat back from Roch. Well.. they were back?
He let out a sigh of relief and removed Sammy's jacket, slipping his own on. The jacket would be returned to Sammy as she returned.

Jericho nodded to Malodore.
"Maybe! Maybe a lot of people in general have died in that spot too for that matter," he suggested, adding on to Mal's theory for why there of all places. It made a fair amount of sense to him.
"Though.. what do you mean by gone from this place?"

Malodore tilted its head from Jericho. "Leave this hallway, primarily. Should something reoccur, I'd rather not be caught up in it." It didn't trust that blasted piece of jewelry.

"Ah! Right... Yeah, we probably should get moving before it tries to warp us again," Jericho agreed, "In which case, I guess I'll see you around Mal."

Sammy hadn't moved to make a snow castle, Tomoko had done a damn good job as it was. Instead she opted to stand to the side and watch with a raised eyebrow the whole time.
Eventually Arel started to speak and Sammy turned to catch what was said, her head could only c**k to the side, the inevitable? What was the scarf wearing nut going on about? Before she could ask, her and the ratty coat were both sent tumbling back into the hallway.
When she came too she was watching Jericho and Maladore pass the chunk of cloth between them. Her own still in her hands though oddly half of it was missing now.
"Field trip before the week of the field trip, I hope it isn't as cold where ever we end up on the real one..."
With that she stumbled away towards her own dorm before pausing to slip off a boot and shake a clump of snow out. She hated that stuff with a passion...
