((Ah, my post are so blech ......I think I have a touch of writer's block today))
The pokemon was walking forward ...as it headed towards the nearest water source only to have rocks slam into it form all different sides. The pain it screeched with was loud ...as it turns it's eyes to face it's opponent, and rage burned in it's eyes. Unlike the Kabuto whom was a naturally gentle creature this one was adamant ... and there was no apology that would be enough ....as his eyes focuses on his opponent. He of course wouldn't find Lindbergh on his first choice, but instead he would find ...Jasmine.
Only in his head would a human be the type to set up such a trap, and as his anger was directed at her ...he was sure of one thing. He would make her pay ...as he charges for her without a single warning. It's tentacles already reaching out to try and constrict the girl.

Victoria first trip into the cavern would confirm her fears. Aella wouldn't be able to fly freely in such a place as she reaches up and holds the pokemon closer to her with one hand on her back. The little squirrel would actually look up a bit nervously at it all. She didn't care too much for such enclosed spaces and all the rocks around her did make her nervous as she balances carefully on Victoria's shoulder and then slide to the opposite side. Her tail twitching lightly with each flick of effort that they made.
This wasn't the best place for them, but Victoria knew that this was the best of hunting grounds. The pokemon to be found here, the pokemon that they could capture and take would help balance out her team greatly, but the biggest problem was quite simply the capture of the new team mate.
A disadvantage was a 90% chance here as she looks over at Aella and tried to come up with a plan that would work despite that fact.

((It's alright, we all have that, I think you've been doing awesome to keep going so much today =O ))
((Also, isn't Stealth Rock one eight damage, 2 damage to the Omanyte?))

::It happened all at once, the sound of the rocks crunching, the girl looking back at the Gligar who cackled, then suddenly, the Omanyte who came at them now, she didn't have any time to react::
::All she could do was lash out, biting down as she tried to use her crutch to catch the Omanyte's reaching tentacles and swipe them away!::
::But she wasn't alone at least...:: [Lindbergh, you imbecilic idiot!] ::Claudandas had time to hiss up before he leapt forward, his fangs grabbing for the Omanyte's shell, looking to try and yank the Omanyte back before those limbs could reach Jasmine!::
::And Lindbergh?::
::The bat just cackled and flew up into the air!::

Though so far, in that pitch black darkness they had run into nothing. Maybe it was simply the fact that it was so dark that was acting as their protection, though she doubted it seriously. Any pokemon that lived in this cavern would be used to it, but maybe, just maybe there wasn't many pokemon here at all.
Maybe, with all the strangeness of the cavern there was no living creature within. A fact that is a bit disappointing, but then again ..maybe it was for the best.
Victoria thought that as Aella would change her position so that she was no holding onto the clothing on the girl's back. Tail up and head down she blinked in the darkness at the earth ...though she could only see snatches of it ...as she thought about trying to run an electric current through her body to make light in this area. Even though she was stronger in flight than with her own electricity at this moment.

((Actually, it's simply the same as the pokemon's level here))
(+1 damage to Jasmine ...I believe it should be 2/5 now)
Though those tentacles would grab hold as the girl would find herself constricted even as the cat's claws and fangs would find that shell impossible to break. Anger shone as the pokemon pulled Jasmine to the ground as he retracted his tentacles and in a fit of pure rage he continued with a counter attack of bubblebeam as he shook to get the cat off of him and aimed it solely at Claudandas's belly.
((Actually bubblebeam only hits one ...bubble hits everyone)
This Omanyte meant business as it attack, and it wasn't about to let any pokemon ....get in the way of his revenge. Dragging the girl down was only phase one, and as it pulls Jasmine every closer to his body ..he meant to finish her off by literally strangling her with all of his tentacles once he got her close.

Victoria traveled in darkness. There was no clue where she was going, and on clue how long it would take for her to get there ...as she takes her hands and presses it into the side of the walls. Darkness was bad, and to keep from getting turned around she decided maybe it was best to keep a hand to the wall so she could continue to go straight. Though it might already be too late, this she wasn't sure of ...as she simply continued down cave.
The darkness slowly starting to eat away at her senses as Aella moves to her shoulder. The only comfort either of them had in the darkness was each other ...as one hand reaches up to rub the back of one ear.

">ARE YOU BLIND!?<" Fable abruptly snarled, tail bursting into a miniature inferno as the Charmander's tail flared. Normally, he was content to remain silent during battle, but this Durant was really beginning to were on his nerves. ">One does not become so scarred by living a soft life, but perhaps the pains of a real battle are too much for a tin can to understand<" Fable growled, adding in his own taunt as he whipped around. The Charmander's tail lashed, swinging in front of him and temporarily spreading the fire. The flames of his own rage might well make a good defense against a Sand-Attack.

::The girl was caught and hit the ground, she bit down as she was grabbed, Lindbergh had made fine her escape, but now she looked at the Omanyte... she was hurting, she could feel her ribs constricted, but now, the living fossil was turning its attention to Claudandas, she had to make most of it...::
::She took that crutch... and as the Omanyte tried to hit the cat, she suddenly lashed out again with her crutch, looking for that soft underbelly, trying to smack the thing off target!::
::And meanwhile, there the cat dived back, this was about to get chaotic, his claws bit into the earth as he landed... then threw something, a pawful of dirt at first, but with a metal shine, that digging ability was about to be shown once more, as he lashed out with Pay Day once more at the Omanyte's shell!::
::But the real surprise was yet to come::
[Surprise!]
::It tumbled from the sky, Lindbergh was rushing down, stinger first, she threw herself to stab into the Omanyte, caught between the three of them now, Jasmine's swipe, Lindbergh's stinger and Claudandas' burst of earth with its hidden surprise, could the Omanyte hold out between them!?::

It would work as the flames would literally melt the sand in the air ....turning it from a flying attack to one that rose in the air with the smoke. It was the first spark of a real fight the Durant had seen so far, and the pokemon seemed not only pleased with this development, but he seemed to be showing signs of happiness over it all. Finally a reason to pull this pokemon's spleen from his mouth ...since he now could see that the Charmander had one ....as he saw his attack dissolved and ready himself for the pokemon's actually attack.
He wanted to see that same fire ...it was only fun when that happen, and he got to crush what little hope that pokemon had gather in his own jaws. The Durant stood ready for the attack.

The Omanyte would lose it's hold on the girl as the crutch moves him off a bit. His attack missing by inches the cat, and the cat's attack wouldn't be able to find purchase on his hard shell as the coin bounce off harmlessly. Though it was the unexpected attack that took him completely off guard as the gligar would catch him on his outstretch tentacle with a poison sting. It hurt slightly, but the poison that came along with it ...was much worst ...as the pokemon flinches a bit in pain of the sting, and then lashes out again.
With three targets it was almost impossible to pick the right one as he turned his attention towards the Gligar. The poison was because of her, but that wouldn't have been possible without the diversion and his mind was made up.
Though he would kill the girl, he would do it after the cat and the scorpion bat ...as he once more fires out a bubblebeam at the Purrloin.

The Durant would find no attack coming however. Fable was not oblivious to his opponents defense, despite referring to the insect as a tin can. It was certainly worthy of it's classification as a Steel-Type. There was little to no chance of breaking through that defense as it was; but he had other options. If he could not weaken the armor, he'd weaken the Durant's resolve to continue the battle. Fable knew he only needed to wait for the right time to strike.
Crouching low and onto all floors, the Charmander's tail continued to burn brightly as he bore his teeth and loosed a vicious Growl.

Still so deep within, and there had been on contact from any living creature. There was a part of her that feared what that meant, as she wishes for a moment that Aella was a bird instead of a squirrel. Victoria's mind whirled with the idea of what could be deep down ..stagnant gasses and air that could kill much more quickly than any cave in. As the darkness seemed to press around them as she felt the flying squirrel press herself against her shoulder blades. Even she was starting to get spook by the loneliness and darkness of this place.

Though the Durant would ignore the growl, his sense of battle would not be damper by such a weak thing. A sound wouldn't back him down, and a growl didn't make him tremble with fear ....as he would launch himself forward again ...his maw open as he would use Vice Grip once more.
The thought of crushing that pokemon's body between his pincers came to him as such a good idea that it was hard for him to think of turning it down.

::The barrage was certainly effective enough to hold the Omanyte back, but now it was attacking again...::
Keep moving Claudandas! ::Jasmine instructed, they didn't have much room for taking hits here... as she twirled her crutch around... then bopped it downward on that shell, she wouldn't do any damage, but she could certainly cause the shell to cover the Omanyte's eyes and stop it seeing its target!::
::With that instruction and that distraction, the cat was bounding away from the rush of bubbles!::
::And Lindbergh?::
::Skyward the Gligar floated, cackling again at her hit and run strategy... she'd let the other two do the work until she would strike...::

All of it's attacks would fail and the Omanyte wouldn't be happy as it suffer further from the poison. It's body starting to lose the ability to hold itself upwards ...as it's shell went down over his eyes and his bubbles would miss ....even as it seemed that one would go upwards and the other would skip out of their range.
The pokemon slowly would slip a single tentacle upwards to push his shell back up as he hunkers down. He could do nothing else ...as his anger continued to twitch and turn in his mind. He hated this all ...he hated this entire situation even as he continued to try and hold his grounds. His eyes fixed on the flying pokemon this time ...his mind switching from one enemy to another as he changed the order of his attack once more.
