“What? A few dozen walls…” Hel blinked, her brows furrowing. Before she went after that pink light (worst idea ever, now in hindsight), she did recalled Mot starting to destroy some walls…but a whole lot of them? Huh! The reaper was…rather impressed. While it wasn’t a good thing that Mot was all covered in scrapes and cuts though, it said something too about his determination to get through this maze…and well…he did bust through a wall to come to her aid as well.
Hel grimaced lightly. She had almost been…owned. But…as mortified and embarrassed as she was about that…as disappointed in herself as she was at the moment…she was touched as well.
She looked off to the side for a moment, rubbing the back of her neck briefly. “…I…uh…” Hel started. “…I really…appreciate it.” She murmured.

Mot stared quizzically at Hel as she seemed almost shy or sheepish for a moment. "It's not like I managed to help at all." Mot admitted. He didn't even know Mitsu gave Hel the pumpkin pill. As far as he knew, Hel had managed just fine on her own, without his help.
"All I'm good for here is shooting down walls." He said with a short laugh. "You're the real warrior here. Though.. do try not to take on enemies on your own if you can help it. I was.." He trailed off, mid scolding.
He was worried. but he didn't feel like finishing his sentence.

“Bah, don’t say that, Mot.” Hel quipped back quickly, her gaze snapping back at him now. “…Truly I feel like…it is the thought….and effort that counts as well…”
Hel paused. “…It got you through the maze though, didn’t it? I…respect that you made your own way through.” She glanced off to the side again. Pfft. The real warrior here, huh? She didn’t feel like it at the moment, getting her a**…kicked by a floating blob with a terrible mustache, hat, and taste in puns. The reaper blinked when he warned her not to take on any more enemies, glancing back over at him with a raise brow. “You were…?” Disappointed? Probably. She was disappointed.

Well, as long as the thought counted, maybe Mot would feel better about it. He did have the best of intention,s and even sacrificed skin cells busting through a wall for her.
Maybe not so smart, but appreciated.
Mot looked away sheepishly, rubbing his neck. "...I was worried." He admitted after a moment. "I heard you battling and I was.. worried.. since you were by yourself.." He was worried for everyone, though! Riyo was still out there somewhere too!
"...um.. we should head back and wait for Riyo.. I hope she's okay."

Mitsu waited silently after she had called out but there was no reply. Maybe they couldn't hear her. With a small sigh she took a seat. It didn't seem like Mot and Hel had followed her either. Were they ever going to be able to group up again? Though...it wasn't like their group got along for any extended period of time.
Silently Mitsu waited setting her bag aside for the time being and drawing her knees up to her chest. She didn't like to be alone. If only... and suddenly there was Shun in a poof of black smoke.
"Shun?" More than delighted to have someone with her again Mitsu sprang to her feet and wrapped her arms around Shun's waist once again. "I wasn't sure what happened. I went to help Hel and you were gone."

When Mot finally said it, Hel blinked, pausing as she stared at him. Worried? He was? For her?
The reaper shifted from foot to foot, blushing ever so lightly before batting it down, and chuckled softly before giving the grim reaper a smile. The ghoul then dug through her bag, and pulled out the thing that had caused this whole fiasco in the first place, and walked over to Mot. “…Ah…I’m not sure what to do with it exactly but…I…uh…want you to have it.” Hel took one of Mot’s hands in her own and pressed the FEAR candy into his palm, and enclosed his fingers around it firmly, so that he wouldn’t try to give it back at her. “…Thank you, Mot.” She gave him a sheepish grin and skipped back a few steps, releasing his hand.
The ghoul then leapt into the air, flapping her wings until she was airborne once more. “The exit is just over there, yes? I’ll go get Riyo!” She stared down at him for a moment longer before taking off back over the maze, scanning this way and that until she found the demoness.
“Ah!” She cried down at Riyo. “There you are, friend! Come now, I will take you to the exit!”

Mot was a little confused, staring down at the ghoul as she shoved a Fear candy into his palm. Why was she giving him this, anyway? But.. it didn't matter if it had value. Hel gave him something. A gift was a gift.
Mot smiled warmly, placing the candy in a small pocket of his vest. "..You're welcome, I guess." He answered back.
His gaze lifted as she pushed herself up into the air, watching her as she watched him until she left to find Riyo.
Well then. Mot shook his head free of his warm and fuzzy thoughts and headed back to the exit, where Shun and Mitsu were waiting.
...and they were hugging again.

Hearing Mitsu behind him, Shun turned around to see her there. It looked as if she was unharmed but he had to wonder what the state of the others was. This thought vanished as she wrapped her arms around his waist once again. For a moment, he felt a sense of surprise, but his gaze soon softened as he looked down at her. He wasn't really sure why, but he actually wanted to return the gesture. And so his arms came up to lightly embrace the lycan. For once he actually felt comfortable about this, which was just strange.
"I.. lost track of where you guys went in the maze," he uttered. He was about to ask where the rest were, but he noticed some movement in the corner of his eyes. Looking over to the side, he spotted Mot there.
Letting go of Mitsu now, he turned towards the cowboy.
"Where's Hel?"

Mot's averted gaze returned to Shun when he was presented with a question. The reaper smiled and shrugged. "She went to find Riyo. She'll guide her back here, and then we can finally get out of this room."
Mot had learned something he should have known all along.
He hated mazes with a burning hatred stronger than that of a thousand suns.

Again Shun had wrapped his arms around her and Mitsu felt content for a short while. Her tail began to wag happily at the returned gesture soaking up the warmth the reaper provided with the embrace. Somehow the hug coming from him meant so much more.
Pulling back as well when Shun directed his attention to Mot, Mitsu turned her gaze upward trying to spot the Valkyrie. She though she could spot some movement but it was hard to say from where she stood. The wall was high and she was....well she was short.

As Hel called her from above, Riyo looked up at the valkyrie a little bit dazed. Her hand was on the mirrors... And behind said hand was a trail of blood from the room she'd just exited. "Huh? Oh. You know where the exit is?" Removing her shaking hand from the glass, the feline sighed. "About time... Lead the way."

“Ack, you weren’t bursting down walls with your hands, were you, friend?” Hel questioned noting the trail of blood smeared on the wall, and started to guide Riyo to the exit where the others were. “We’ll have that looked at as soon as we join up with the others.”
In no time flat, Hel led Riyo to the end of the maze, and dropped from the air, landing on her feet with a solid thump. “Ah, here we go.” Her gaze shifted over Mitsu, Shun, and Mot, and then back to the cat demoness, pleased to see that they were all now at the end and in one piece more or less. The valkyrie walked up to the group and then placed her hands on her hips. “…This is it?”

Nodding to Mot, Shun just moved his hand to Mitsu's shoulder while placing the other into his pocket. Before long, the other two girls showed up. It looked like Hel was doing fairly well too. "I see you're both in one piece," Shun remarked before looking around. Everyone was now at the exit, so perhaps they would be able to move on. Never again would this Reaper want to deal with a mirror maze. It was far too much trouble to be of much worth to him.

"No." Riyo mumbled while looking at her hand. "I cut it open." That wasn't to say she did it on purpose, but the ghoul had been trying to use it as a means of navigating the maze.
With half-lidded eyes, the feline proceeded to exit the room. Would there be something waiting for them on the other side? Or would it be just like this?
Or maybe they'd go back to the quiet little place and have a break. Riyo would like that. A can of tuna sounded good right now.
