My Girlfriend and I had been talking about pet names for each other. She had told me that they dont really use pet names in Japanese so we started inventing them.
Hers for me is Oishi Osheri (Tasty bum)
And for her its Hachimitsu-Usagi (bee syrup-rabbit) I actually call her bee-syrup rabbit in English a lot just because its silly. But of course it is supposed to be a Japanese version of Honey-Bunny. I had to explain to her first that honey was because she is sweet and bunny because she is cute before she would let me start calling her that.

I love the word "kantan" - it means "simple, easy." I suppose I like the sound of it and it reflects a little of my personality as well.

xd I've found another favorite word: 序論-joron = introduction
I don't think it necessarily means introduction to ppl, but rather an introduction to an event, class, or report or something of the sort. 3nodding A word for "orientation" i believe... sweatdrop Not so much I like the word itself I just like the way it is spelled and sounds for some reason. I guess becoz I am not familiar with a lot of じょ-Jo starting words. xp
And also a few colloquialisms:
フォローする-foro'o`suru = to back someone up/to lend a hand ざっくざらん-zakkuzaran = frank/blunt/direct (as this is the kind of person I usually am, so pleez don't ever be offended by anything I say here sweatdrop becoz I most likely don't mean any harm) とちんかん-tochinkan = off the wall/crazy/out of nowhere (pertaining to what is someone does)
oh wow xd So many colloquialisms I like! I'd better stop now before I mess around and type up an essay... (>_>)
