Glancing around carefully, Alcyone wasn't sure what to expect from this course or how aggressive those nautilus things were. Hopefully this would be a normal class day but she was beginning to doubt that. "Yeah, let's go." Alcyone looked down at Eri and she wasn't sure if he understood what exactly was going on at the moment...
The wishing comet was looking around with little interest and he really didn't understand why they had to do these classes...
Alcyone nudged the wishing comet slightly to make sure that he wasn't asleep and then started walking through the land course.

The Nautical picked the wrong tentacle friend. It was apparent that the follyjox did not enjoy the hugs that it was receiving and began to angrily attempt to stuff its paws and tentacles against the creature, thus alarming Lilith immediately. Oh no you didn't. Yes, in that voice. You know the voice I'm talking about. She immediately began to try and free her precious follyjox, not very pleasantly hitting the Nautical's shell.

Somewhere below, a tentacle stirred, catching the Minipet before it smashed into a million pieces at the bottom. Quill then nudged Dasher with a paw, "Hey, wake up already. We need to move... I can smell Master Malcolm on the other side." Wobbling, Dasher tried to get up. "What the heck was that thing?" he asked Quill. He took a step forward and ended up nearly falling over. It was quite pathetic.
"Aw." Colette picked up Dasher and held him, ignoring his whiney grunt and using what hips she had as leverage. I'll be carrying you then." She looked at Quill and took a guess by his ability to check on Dasher. "I hope it's okay to assume you're alright. We should get moving.." Yes, she talked to minipets regardless if they could or couldn't understand. Colette was pretty sure she could see Barth up ahead too -- it was easy on a flat plane of land -- and if the sloth demon was ahead, she knew she must be way behind.
Carrying Dasher, Colette held onto Quill's leash and started to haul some butt. Dasher just slumped and enjoyed the ride, even if it was somewhat embarassing in front of the valiant Quill.

Alright, Barth thought, after discreetly letting Lilith take a whack at it first. The thing looked weakened, but still wasn't budging. His turn. To impress Lilith. To do something really spectacular and save the day.
He exerted exactly one more smidgeon of effort than Lilith to dislodge the tentacle.
Glop made a blurbling noise and slopped some slime nearby, presumably to decrease traction.

You can fight and feed in the same turn~ However, as long as a Minipet is "fainted", it can't do battle. The cat wasn't looking so hot any more either and if this kept up it would likely end up passing out as well. At least he and West had done a fair amount of damage at first, but they still needed to keep going at it. Gritting his teeth, Jericho lashed out at the creature with another fist, then looked over to his partner. "How is Master?" he called out to the demon. ((Flamethrower: 3 Damage: 5 ))

Sin laughed as the tiny nautical landed infront of them, with it's wide eyes and little tentacles it looked harmless.
"Aww look Alcie isn't it cu-HEY! Hey! Get off!" She glared and lost her adoration for the little tentacled creature instantly as she saw her precious Pantaloons stiffen up and freeze as the FEAR was sucked out of him. She moved to try and kick the little thing with her heel angry with the attack.

Dragain The tentacle curled tighter around the Patchwork's body and... Started to tickle him? Are Patchworks even ticklish? The tentacles seemed bent on finding out - more tentacles appeared from within the pit and were soon all over the boil, trying to see if they could get a chuckle out of him. They were also effectively ignoring the lame Calder and his ghoulish attacks, although one tentacle plucked Fester off and tossed the Minipet at Scruff, causing a possibly painful collision. Get it off! CHRISTOF: Roll 1 10-sided dice; if the number is 7 or larger, grats! You managed to wriggle free! If not, the number rolled is the damage done to the tentacle by either/both the student and Minipet! CALDER: Roll 2 10-sided dice to see how much damage you can do to it! Apparently the odd noise he was making now was the closest he had ever come at least. To make matters worse, Fester was plucked off his head and thrown at Scruff. The poor dears!!!!!
Rearing back, Calder tried once more. Oh please let him just do good this one time! With all his horsey bulk, he threw his hooves down on the main tentacle holding his friend.
Fester probably would have ignored all of this, but having been thrown really got to him. Clinging to Scruff's side for support, the leech jumped off and latched to a tentacle, biting it as hard as his little teeth could. Damage to Fester: 10 - 5 = 5 Damage Done By Fester:[/b ]5
