Alex blushed a bit and crossed her arms a bit harder. "You were shot in the head...keen-jerk reaction." she replied in a bit of a mumble.

Lucas grunted. "Well, now that we're outside... What do you wanna do when you're dressed? Uh... Wanna... Go get breakfast or something?" he asked warily.

Waking up to find himself in a car,John shook his head.
Where was he again, tearing pieces of the metal off of him. John head was pounding a little, he felt like he had been hit by a mac truck.
"Where a I."John asked to himself out loud.

Alex sighed and walked back over to the wall of the hotel. "Yeah...food sounds good. Really I can't remember the last time I got to sit down and eat." she replied, uncrossing her arms and using her claws to scale the side of the building to get back inside. When was the last time she'd eaten? Back in Metropolis with Steel and...TK, right? Yeah, when that guy's head exploded all over the restaurant. She really should just take a vacation or something.
She made it to the window, and climbed inside to go back and fetch her clothes. She didn't even really think about anyone watching her climb the wall, and she didn't really care at this point. She just...ugh. She wanted to go home. She wanted to be in her own home, in her own bed, in her own street, in her own city...this whole thing was just really starting to wear on her.

Lucas sighed, and went back into the hotel, assuring those in the lobby that everything outside was now fine before going back up to his and Alex's room.

Alex was back in the bathroom, putting as much attention as she could into getting dressed. Everything was still fairly damp...but it would dry quickly with her wearing it.

"I don't know..." she replied, pulling on her boots. "I could go for something to eat. (ugh) I could also go for some new, clean clothes. Of the non-ripped and stained variety." she said, then slipped on her other boot. "....also need to go check on my friends at some point."

"Nope, all I had was that five hundred bucks in my wallet, along with my driver's license, credit card and library card." Lucas replied, shrugging his shoulders. "Doesn't really matter anyway, I guess."

Alex shrugged, then began putting her jewelry back on. "Are you sure it's alright though? I mean you paid for the room. And....you'll probably have to pay for food. I could just...go out and get new clothes later."

Alex looked back at him and smiled. "Well...thanks. I most definitely owe you at some point." she said as she waked out of the room and towards him.

Lucas nodded. "If you insist. Normally I'd decline, but I figure it's useless with you," he half-joked before walking out of the room and getting into the elevator.
