Owners -The Father - Syaoran-Puu The Mother - Yumitoko II The Daughter - ropin and riden The Son - Phail Ninja Names -The Father - Arden Forestlace The Mother - Enya Forestlace The Daughter - Onira Forestlace The Son - Ataro Forestlace Personalities -The Father - Arden can be stubborn, sometimes as unmoving as the very forest. Yet at other times he can be flexible like water. This makes him a hard stallion to predict the mood of; that said he tries very hard to be amiable towards others, especially his family. However he can get very defensive when he believes his family is in danger... often acting first and accepting the consequences later. He has a soft spot for his daughter as he enjoys spending time in the water with her -mostly racing and playing- but he also loves spending time with his son, mostly tracking and passing on his skills. Arden wants the best for those he cares about, and on occasion has been known to do everything in his power to try and make it come true. He can be patient at times, but is also known for his fury when pushed too far. The Mother - Enya is a kind mare, unfortunately it's not often returned. She's the type who wants to do best for her family and that includes everyone laving no-one left out.
She's still a young mare with a young family so she still has much to learn, the children were not a straightforward decision she had made, but she loves them all the same for they bring joy into her life.The Daughter - She's fascinated with the water, easily able to spend many long hours just lounging in the shallows, but unfortunately she's plagued with the fear of going too far out into the deep portions of rivers or lakes and never goes near the ocean. She's terrified of the idea that if she dives down into the depths that she'll lose track of where she is and will wind up getting lost. She's clingy when it comes to her mother and definitely feels safest at her side; however, that presents her with a problem. Her mother isn't a kelpi, nor is she even part kelpi, thus if something happened out in the water her mom wouldn't be there to help pull her through. Other than that, she holds her father in the highest of regards, as she grew up believing him to be her own personal super hero. This idea has mostly dwindled down to a healthy respect for the stallion, but Onira still tries her hardest to win his favor whenever possible. Though with her fear of going too far out into deep water, its proven difficult for her to believe she actually deserves it. The Son - On the surface, Ataro can appear dark and mysterious. He spends most of his time lurking in the murky depths of the lake, or hiding under the shadows of the trees. Hard to reach and even harder to stay attached to, his heart remains sealed off from the rest of the world. He can also be quite the trouble-maker, and depending on his mood an encounter with him could go either way. He could either coldly blow you off, or you could find yourself lured into a trap. However, he expresses a very different side when he is around his family. He becomes softer and more gentle, willing to open up and trust them where he won't trust others. He treasures them all dearly within his heart, and would give his life to protect them. He remains forever loyal to them, and no matter what happens will stand by their side. Deep down, he has a good heart, just few rarely ever see it.And a little RP -RPAnd just as a side note, here's our plot thread X3 [x]

Names - Father - Skyle || Mother - Aurora || Daughter - Azura || Son - Sukai
Personalities -
Skyle's Personality: Skyle was a very calm stallion. He was very well suited to the family life he now had. He still had a bit of his former "wild side", but few see it.He appears very collected most the time. He does enjoy fun, and joking around. And only with his closest friends does he fully let his guard down
Aurora's Personality: She is very loving and sweet, smart and curious but can be very playful. She likes to joke and create laugher, she is very protective but knows when to let something go. She can also be very sneaky and likes to surprise other horses.
Azura's Personality: Being a fairly extroverted Soq, Azura likes to be a social butterfly, of sorts. She isn't afraid of going up to somebody and saying, "Hi!" When she makes new friends she's generally in it for the long haul. If they need help day or night she'll be the first to lend a hand. She's not typically loud, only when she's having a good time. However, when she's not around others she's usually off daydreaming. In a sense that's the usual culprit for her being chronically late as well as forgetful. Azura is also very sensitive and can end being emotional over it, but with a few kind words from friends and family she's back to her usual self.
Sukai's Personality: Being of the Choleric temperament Sukai loves to take charge and be the leader in almost everything that he does. But he doesn't do that with his family. With them he is sweet and pure of heart. When he is alone and around other Soquili he is the boss of everything around him or tries to be. Though he is a bit ambition as well as has a lot of energy, and passion. This is something that he tries to instill it in others. Sometimes he gets a bit too Forceful.

Azura snickered light-heartedly, eyeing her brother mischievously. "So, I was with my friends at the last gathering and I heard something rather interesting... Sukai, would you like to tell them or shall I?" she asked merrily.
Sukai looks at his sister in an annoyed. "What are you talking about Azura?" He isn't going to admit that he is in love or that he has a crush on a pretty little Mare. "Are you going to open your mouth to mother and father?" He wonders as he looks at her a bit more wanting to boss her about and tell her not to but maybe the old man and their mother would give him some good pointers.
She gave him one of her irksome-causing smiles, "Well, dear brother, I hear you have an eye on a certain mare," she cocked an eyebrow. "Care to elaborate?" Azura tilted her head and whinnied, these family get-togethers she was really able to tease her brother about. It had been a while since she saw her family. "Mom, dad, how was it that you met again?" she cheerfully jeered at her brother.
Skyle thought for a moment. He could see her just the way she looked that first time they met. Aurora standing across the way from him with her hair blowing in the wind. He had forgotten his friends were with him until one of them kicked him in the back end. "Are we going or what? I'll catch up to you guys in a sec." "Hmph, fine have it your way!" Skyle slowly walked closer, he justed wanted to get a better look."And thats when, it happened. Ive never felt so foolish in my life. Although your mother was the sweetest thing about it. She acted like she hadnt even seen it happen." He saw himself tripiing and stumbling almost right into her. He corrected himself, "oh dear, I am sorry. I should be more careful and watch where I am walking.I tripeed on something over there." He knew he was babbling and he tried to stop. "Um my name is Skyle. I really didnt mean to bother you. My friends and I were going...... Well it doesnt matter." Then she smiled. And he felt his heart melt. In fact he was tempted to look and make sure it wasnt really melting. "My love would you like to tell your side now? You always tell it so much better than I do."
Aurora smiled at her family that was in front of her as she remembered the very day that Skyle was talking about. "I had noticed him before he noticed me but I tried to hide the fact that I was looking." She said the words as the memory replayed inside her brain. "He had finally noticed me right when I was getting ready to eat some grass." She kind of snicked at the fact that she was admitting the things that had occurred at the time and even Skyle didn't know about it. "When he walked up to me, it wasn't graceful at all. He was tripping and stumbling all over the place." She laughed a little before she remembered the rest of what had happened that day."He told me that instead of him being nervous that he tripped, but it was nothing but a flat plain." Aurora figured that her last statement would make the children laugh.
Sukai listening to his Mother and Father talk about the past. He wasn't sure that he wanted to know all of that as he looks at his Father "So we know now how you two met but how did Sis and I come above?" He can't believe he is asking his parents about their first breeding in which gave them his sister and himself. "And are you two planning on have more after us seeing we are fully grown now?" He is getting a bit demanding with wanting these answers.
"Well to be honest, you guys were..... Well a complete surprise. We werent really planning on having a family at that point in our lives. Then your mother found out she was pregnant and to be honest everything change. We were thrilled! Its hard to explain that feeling. One minute we were carefree and enjoying each others company and being in love. And the next we were planning a family life. It was the most terrifying and exciting thing! But as soon as she told me, we started telling everyone we knew, well we even told soquili we didnt know!" Skyle knew his son well enough to know he had other reasons for his questions.... But he didnt want to embarrass his son in front of the 'mares'. Aurora had been his first love, so he knew that look. "As for more foals, well no we arent PLANNING any more. But who knows?" He knew that would take the wind out of his son's sail for a few. "For now your mother and I are enjoying an empty nest. Long walks, quiet outings alone, and just relaxing together."
Aurora was wondering about what in the world Skyle was doing but she dismissed it and decided to finish the tale of when they first met before she moved onto the more serious topic. “I admired your father the first time he spoke to me and knew that I wanted to get to know more about him.” She smiled at her children and glanced at Skyle for a brief moment. “When he introduced himself to me, I believe it was I who wanted to do something more with him.” Aurora’s eyes glazed over as the memories replayed over in her mind. “You and your sister were a surprise but I certainly don’t regret a thing! You two are my pride and joy and I really like good surprises.” She decided to tell them about how she really felt about having them. “I certainly had to adapt, no we had to adapt to having children but it was really something fun and it was an adventure.” Aurora got to her feet and glanced back at Skyle. “There is really nothing more to add is there?” She glanced at her children and smiled, she put all of her emotions into her smile. She really was grateful for having them both, they changed her life and certainly they changed it for the better.

Striped Punnet Family Owners - Father: Ririka Mother: Eranas Son 1: (Blue hair) Ishtanballa Son 2: (Green hair) XxPrimevalPandaxX Names - Father: Devereux Mother: Cloris Son 1: Ball Son 2: Crystal Personalities -Father: Vexed- Devereux has always been the timid little runt in the group. The guy whom was known for running away screaming like a girl, or curling up in a pathetic little ball of fear, rather than standing up and facing his problems head on. He has no idea why he can't bring himself to fight or speak up for himself, he just can't, or at least he can't 99.9% of the time anyway. Timid and paranoid, this little seathi used to prefer floating about in his coral home hidden away from the world as he scared himself with thoughts of the world around him. However, these days he finds his world has brighten and filled itself with love and acceptance thanks to his mate and their two sons. While he is still timid and holds paranoia, he finds that they can never override his need to protect his family, and give them the best life he can possibly provide. Mother: Intrigued- She's intrigued by things she hasn't seen before, caring but loves to pick on people. Can be quick tempered when she is interrupt in her thought process. But is thoughtful when it comes to those who are very close to her. Son 1: Murky- Ball likes to think of himself as a living mystery. He enjoys drawing intrigue from others and being the center of attention. To think that others were so fascinated by him that they just want to crack him open and pour out all his secrets. Sadly they would find nothing of real interest within the male if they managed to crack him open. Son 2: Luminous- Crystal is a very fun loving Seathi who more then anything in the world likes to find shiny objects. He adventures and every time he does so he always brings something interesting back. He will protect his brother and parents to the end no matter what the obstacle. He can also be a bit of a prankster as well. Always playing jokes and enjoying seeing the reaction it makes on the other Soq. And a little RP -Under the SeaWe had planned to do more with this RP, but sadly real life decided to intervene for many of us in the group. So we had to cut it short. Within the family RP, Crystal and Ball were RPed as young children hearing a story of their parents meeting. Via AIM, Panda and myself RPed the boys as adults preparing to set off on their own. Tall blades of sea weed sways in time with the ever shifting sea, their roots snared within the mud, keeping them from simply floating away. Ball watched sea weed, unable to help but compare himself to it. And not just because he was mostly green.
Since birth his metaphorical roots had been tangled within his family. Where they would go, he would go. But now, it was time for him be uprooted. He loved his family, cherished them, but he needed to set out and make a life of his own. Feeling his hair sway in the water, the adult seathi stared around seeing his brother thinking hard. Crystal watched his brother closely wondering what he was thinking about. He right now was thinking about a life by himself. A life that he would lead for once instead of being with his mother and father. He eyed his brother some more and sighed lightly. "Are you alright? You seem like your thinking about something brother.." He said to him curling his tiny tail up underneath himself a bit. Ball bobbed and rocked, much like he sea weed he gazed upon. For the moment, he just wanted to let the sea move him. It was almost soothing, like when one of his parents would allow him to ride upon their back, or even their tail, when he was young.
The sound of his brother's voice drew Ball from his reverie, a single ear swiveling in Crystal's direction. "Just thinking of the existence of sea week," he paused for a moment, and then continued, "Do you know where you will go?”Crystal looked at Ball curiously tilting his head and sighing a bit. "I don't know really. I think eventually I will have to live on my own for once. Do you know what I mean? Don't tell me you haven't been thinking about it lately as well." He said sighing very lightly with a shake of his head and looking around the water some more as he swam slowly around the area. "Do you know where you will go?" He asked his brother with a slight tilt of the head.It was not unusual for Ball to not have to give voice to his thoughts. They were brothers after all. They had shared many experiences as they grew. Told each other of their dreams and played imaginary games together. It was only natural to come to possess such understandings towards each other.
"I shall drift with the sea," murmured Ball, "and only settle once it allows me to."Giving a small nod, he scampered about the reef looking for something interesting to do, but there wasn't anything at the moment. He nodded to his brother knowing how he was acting. He grew up with him and knew he didn't usually voice what he meant.
"I will probably do the same brother." He told him giving a slight nod as he peeked around the reef some more.While he made no move to follow his brother, Ball's gaze never left Crystal as he moved about in the reef. Amusement shined within his blue eyes, but beyond that, it didn't show. Emotions he preferred to keep bottled inside. Strangers thought it was because he was cold being. But the truth was he just liked how mysterious it made him feel. Like a puzzle.
"Do you suppose during that drifting, you'll find love in a sea anemone?" questioned Ball, the story of his parents' fateful meeting echoing within his head. The green haired seathi moved about the reef quite slowly as he examined everything as closely as he could. "I don't know..I don't really want love at the moment, but I think my love is going to come from finding new objects. Like when I found that pearl the one time. I think it would be what I would want to do with my life." He nodded to his brother and smiled very slightly to him. "What about you though? What is your ambition?" He asked tilting his head once more. "Ambition?" queried Ball, his cocking slightly. Slowly, his gaze lifted from his brother and slowly tracked to the surface. Through slits in his ever moving blue mane, he watched the dancing reflections of light. "To touch the light." "Ah I see. I don't know if you will be able to touch the light brother...we live so far down in the ocean." He said to him sighing lightly before looking over at some more of the reef to see if he noticed anything exciting about it. "I will," replied Ball, finality echoing within his voice. For him that was it. He'd said he would, therefore it would happen. It also meant for him, that he would no longer comment on the subject.
With a flick of his spiraled tail, he drifted over the reef. Trail up above his brother.Crystal looked back to his brother smiling at his words before giving a sigh of relief. He eyed up into the clearer sky wondering what kind of a world was out there. If there was anything for them. If there was even a way they could interact with land folk, if there were any land folk. "We should adventure together brother." He smiled as he began to float towards the light of the surface of the ocean. A world that was so unknown to him, but intrigued him more then anything. "Yes," murmured Ball, the corner of his lips turning upwards in a minute smile, "Lets."
Allowing the sea to guide him, Ball followed his brother up towards the unknown.

She finds comfort in her mate who is so different from what she grew up with in her large boisterous family. She sometimes has trouble understanding the usually quiet natures of her children, but recognizes herself in her son's flares of passion and daughter's desire to explore. dad (Luna): Romantic and modest Nalin is quiet and modest, a loving mate and father. He probably couldn't be more different than his mate but it works for the two of them. Lucretia seems to run the show but Nalin is really the heart of the family. son (Tyg): connected Destin is very cool, calm and zen, feeling a strong connection to the world around him. He has a profound sense of duty to his home and family and would do most anything to keep them safe. Even though his outside demeaner would make him seem the ultimate pacifist, one would not want to make him angry through harm to the forest or the family. daughter (Shy): empathetic, outgoing Avril is an empathetic soul who prefers to listen more often rather than speak. Her frequent enjoyment of lone explorations of nature adds to an enigmatic quality about her. She is more relaxed with her brother and parents but remains polite and cheerful with others as well. She is outgoing in that what she sets her mind on and chooses to pursue, she does so zealously. And a little RP -Family Backgrounds for Lucretia and Nalin. Lucretia came from a very large, loud family. She grew up in a wooded area and was used to having to be the loudest to get any attention from her parents. This sculpted her into the fierce Soq that she is today. When Lucretia left her family, like all of her other siblings, she went to explore the world and eventually found her mate, Nalin. After being around personalities like her own, it was a relief when she met someone who was more easy going. Nalin came from a modest family. His parents loved him and raised him well. And like all young men he one day met his love, Lucretia. On the average day Nalin is usually doing things with Lucretia, outside of spending time with his kids. He was always close with his parents and wants that instilled into his children. Lucretia might ‘wear the pants’ in the relationship, but Nalin doesn’t mind, he couldn’t imagine anyone else by his side. After Nalin’s parents passed away, he never brought his family to where he was raised. It was a muddy place, and as his mother had always said “Nalin, you are named such because you are the beautiful flower that flourishes in muddy waters.” But now that his kids are older, he wanted to show them where he was raised. RP with the kids. The family tends to gather on a regular basis, but it seems Lucretia has forgotten as she has cornered Nalin for some private time on a day when the kids are expected at any time. Avril being a happy early-bird and fond of exploration didn’t realize she’d worn herself out a bit until the sound of rushing water made her realize her thirst. However, she hadn’t just stopped and taken a drink. She had ventured further upstream and came upon the waterfall to whom the unceasing watery roar belongs. She’d then been able to spot a gap in the rocks just beside one side of the plummeting wall of water. Curiosity getting the better of her, she ventured into the fairly camouflaged entrance and was amazed to find an empty space that was without a rocky ceiling. It was in this space that she had ended taking a comfortable nap only to wake up later and remember she had a family get-together with her parents and brother that she may end up being late to. The above would explain why she was now galloping hurriedly toward the usual meeting place of their family get-togethers. “Hup,” was the little sound that escaped her lips as she leaped over a bush and landed in the meeting place’s vicinity. She was feeling eager to share her discovery of the comfy space whose entrance is hidden just beside the waterfall. But, also just now she felt a sense of accomplishment having neatly jumped over the leafy obstacle a moment before and in the glow of her glory, had immediately turned back in delight to do a quick pace and scan the height of said bushy blockade, “I’m not late, am I?” Avril’s breathing was still in the process of slowing back down after the run. “There’s a place you all should see some time-” at this point is where she’d turned to face her family only to realize that her brother seemed not to have arrived as of yet and her parents were in the middle of a more intimate conversation than she first thought. “Oh, uh, so sorry to interrupt,” she took two steps back in surprise before hastening away to one side with an accommodating smile, “I’ll wait a bit further downstream by the river.” It was a good day for a quiet stroll through the forest. Destin took his time following the familiar path toward his birthplace for the monthly gathering with his parents and sister. Birds sang out unconcerned by his passing, a good sign, there was no danger nearby to spoil the day. As he grew closer to the usual meeting place he was surprised to hear the sound of galloping. Concerned that something was indeed wrong he picked up his own pace and ended up arriving a little behind his sister. As she backed away he took note of just why she was apologizing and backing away. He chuckled though a childish part of his felt a bit awkward at the situation. "We'll just go for a nice walk, right sis?" he suggested loudly enough for Lucretia and Nalin to hear. Then he chuckled again and joined his sister in retreat. Plot ideas: The family would be extremely close opening up all sorts of possibilities for things they can do together and extending to future family members. -How Nalin and Lucretia met, this could be a background rp or even a conversation that takes place at one of the family gatherings. -Bringing the family home: Nalin brings them to where he was raised -Curiosity about the kelpi side of the family tree brings about a desire to visit the sea. Either child, both, or even the whole family. -Avril the explorer: the four going together to check out one of the interesting and little known or hidden spaces in the forest that Avril has stumbled upon before and recommends. However, before they finally arrive there and end up enjoying a nighttime view or something or other, they get lost in the process of getting there. The blog where we plotted, there were also a number of PMs and IMs involved.
