Itaku was taken by complete surprise. The last time he and Celeste fought she didn't even use martial arts. Itaku began to chuckle the laugh hidden beneath his scarf, he was going to play her little game. His martial arts was far from perfect but he wasn't incapable. The punches connected and although they weren't meant to hurt, they certainly packed a wallop. The blows connected with his chest and stomach she wasn't aiming for the face it seemed. He very athletically flipped backwards and stashed his blades in their sheaths. He yelled out to Yuki. " I love the confidence my own comrades have in me." He laughed and turned back to Celeste. " So this is the game you want to play...fine I'll play by your rules...I'll have you know I can't afford to lose though...this battle has already got my blood pumping!!!!" Itaku had practiced martial arts at a young age, his style of fighting dealt with hitting pressure points in the human body and countering blows. Was he a master???? Not a chance, but this was a good a time as any to test his skills.... "Are you ready??" The lieutenant half mockingly pointed at Celeste and ran forward. He struck out with his palms aiming for her shoulders, he quickly spun on his heel and elbowed her in the stomach. Not enough to hurt, but enough to make this battle as real and fun as possible.

((Muhahahaha! I can make anything mushy! Fear the power of a future novelist!))
Celeste ducked under the blow and sweep her foot at his feet intending to knock him off balance. In spite of herself, she found that she too was beginning to have fun along with Itaku. It surprised her. She hadn't felt like this since before the massacre. A slight blush came across her face. Itaku was once again making her feel things she thought she had lost the ability to feel long ago. There was no doubt for her any longer. She loved him.

Nao ran after Yuki around long corridors that seemed endless. Finally she stopped running. "I think it's best if we split up too." She said, a bit short of breath. How did the fit so many halls in in once single air ship?! "We both have our different goals. We meet back where Itaku was in an hour." With a short nod, Nao turned around, but she hesitated. She spun around and hugged Yuki once more. "Don't die on me, okay?"

((Okay, Yuki went along originally to protect Nao, but I can make her go off on her own if you like.))
Yuki immediately hugged the girl back. "That goes for you too, okay? We both have to make it back alive." She then released Nao and held her gaze for a moment, before turning and running down a corridor trying to hold back the tears that threatened to blur her vision.

Nao nodded and noticed Yuki on the verge of tears. I hope she's gonna be okay... She thought and turned away. Nao took a moment to scan her surroundings before running off. The walls were metallic, probably really strong since these were the redcoats that she was talking about. Bright, small lights covered the ceiling and noticed some specks on them. Probably micro cameras. Better be careful like Itaku said. Nao took a deep breath and headed down the opposite hallway that Yuki took. She could still hear the commotion that the redcoat and Itaku were making as she walked deeper into the heart of the redcoat aircraft. Nao flattened herself against a wall as two soldiers passed her. But with her luck, they turned around and aimed high tech guns towards her. Instead of screaming in surprise, Nao un-sheathed her sword and swiftly gut the tip of the gun off of one man's weapon. She then spun around and hit the back of the other man's neck. A crunch sounded and made Nao shudder, and turn her head left. The other man was still alive, so she thrust forward and stabbed the man's leg right above the knee. She slapped her hand onto his mouth while he screamed, careful not to cause too much attention to her. Nao sighed with relief that she was not hurt. With an evil glance towards the men, she turned ans stalked off, sheathing her sword once more.

( hahah impressive I would love to be a novelist... but mushy is difficult razz )
Itaku noticed the girls blush, and slightly blushed himself. He sweep of the leg's caught him off guard, and he fell to the floor. He quickly spun his leg's underneath him almost like a break-dancer and attempted to take her down as well. It seems the lieutenant finally found love, here he had a beautiful girl who could hold her own in battle, only problem is she was a Red Coat. He shook the thought's aside, he would find a way around that. No matter what it takes... Itaku began to calculate how long the battle should go on to make it seem real, to "end" it now would be to soon. He would gladly keep this fun dance alive. After spinning his legs the lieutenant rolled to the side and jumped to his feet, he pulled out his wand and smiled. He was tempted to test her reflexes. "Do you like to dance cherie?" Itaku chuckled and began to wave his wand.

((XD I love being mushy. I'm very girly in my heart....somewhere. Lol, I totally just thought that Celeste would fall on top of Itaku...and then he stood up. Aww...Lol. rofl ))
Celeste jumped into the air and flipped gracefully out of the way of Itaku's kick. Her eyes widened slightly when she caught sight of the wand, but she wasn't daunted. If he though he would capture her so easily, he had another thing coming! Celeste landed lightly on the floor, but didn't charge. She wanted to see just what Itaku had planned.
Yuki continued running down the long, dark hallway. Luckily for her, all the soldiers seemed to preoccupied in other parts of the ship, since she had met no opposition so far. Her goal was one thing: the control room. Perhaps if she got there, she could save what little was left of Snow Town...

[[okay, so i move a bit now.....maybe he do what he can to help her?]]]
Greg re-opened his eyes again, and it was obvious time had passed. He had a bit more mobility at this point, but his entire self was sore. Upon sitting up, he scanned the room he was in. It wasn't much, just a few bunks with clean-white sheets. His eyes landed on a single bunk though with a body on it. It was moving, so he knew that the soldier was still alive. "Wonder who wasn't being careful" he muttered to himself, shaking as he stood to his feet. HE crossed the room to get a better look at the soldier, and stopped dead in his tracks. "Yume...."he said in a half-whisper. He stood beside the bed, despite the complaits of the medical soldiers. He ushered them away and turned back to Yume. "what happened to you?" he whispered, knowing she wouldn't respond to him at the moment. He brushed a single hair from her face that had fallen as they put her in, at least, that's what he assumed....she looks so vulnerable. Who did this to you?...... Pulling up a chair from the side, he sat at her side, doing what he could to stay councious. But almost immedietly, the wave over-came him, and he passed out.
[[Oh yeah....I love writing...I write short stories, mostly in 3rd person, but yeah. Not soo good to be a novelist, but I can work at it smile ]]

((He can try. She's got a piece of shrapnel that's resistant to magic, buried deep in her leg, a sword wound to her side and other numerous cuts and abrasions. Not in good shape. Nope, nope, nope. Also I think you're a really good writer. Maybe you should pursue Creative Writing as a college major. That's what I'm doing anyway. Just a fledgling writer, I am!))
Yume groaned slightly and opened her eyes, but the deep darkness that clouded her vision persisted. A floating feeling surrounded her body, disallowing her any sort of movement. Was she dead? Panic built in her chest. Yume wracked her brain, looking for some sort of evidence that she was still among the living, but she couldn't bring any to mind. Her thoughts were jumbled and lacked any sort of sense. She opened her mouth to try and call out to someone, ANYONE but no sound would issue from her frozen vocal cords. Tears of fear and sorrow formed in Yume's eyes to slip down her cheeks. She was alone. Totally and utterly alone. A fate far worse than death. Just as she was about to give into despair, she felt something touch her. It was a small touch, just the simple stroking of her hair, but it calmed her. She was NOT dead. She was very much alive, and everything was going to be okay now. Yume smiled slightly, before shutting her eyes and allowing sleep to take her once more.
((Note: She was NOT awake. She's kinda...dreaming?))

( Is is weird I thought the same for a moment but changed it in a panic fervor XD lol. Also Greg I think you rock at writing smile , practice makes perfect but your damn good already smile )
Itaku began to weave his wand in an almost dance like pattern. He wasn't attempting to hurt Celeste at all, he wanted to test her movements. From his wand balls of fire began shooting out aiming all around Celeste's feet. It was a bombardment of about 20 small flares, they looked more dangerous then they were. The would sting upon contact but not leave any mark. "Dance for me Cherie, I will need to retire soon...." The lieutenant chuckled.

((I thought of something awesome. Time for Celeste to get a bit confused. Yay, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder! (I think it's called that anyway... ^_^U)))
Celeste's eyes widened at the sight of approaching fireballs. Her breath caught in her caught in her throat as her vision was overrun by fire. Suddenly, she was back there on the day she had lost everything; her home, her family, her voice. The whole village was ablaze with what seemed to her to be hellfire, and the air was thick with the screams of people. Celeste attempted to turn away but her foot slipped on something and she fell to a ground soaked with blood. The sickly stench of it made her stomach roil and she would have been sick if the scene before her hadn't frozen her to the core. There before her were soldiers, back lit by the hungry flames, holding a middle aged man at gun point. Celeste recognized him almost immediately. Her father. She reached out for him as though the simple gesture alone could save him, but a moment later a gunshot sounded. Blood sprayed. A scream came from a woman who was being held back by another soldier, but it was easily ignored. Instead the woman was dragged forward, and a gun was placed mercilessly to her head as well. She was screaming again, but this time legible words were issued. She was screaming for someone to run. Who? A name. A girl's name. Her name. Celeste. Tears welled in Celeste's eyes and she opened her mouth and tried to scream, tried to stop it, but the words wouldn't come. She could only watch as another gunshot sounded, and her mother fell to the ground to join her father. Celeste couldn't take it. Hate filled her heart, burning hotter than the flames that surrounded her. Without really thinking about it, she reached back and unsheathed her dagger before rushing for the nearest solider and tackling him to the ground. She straddled him and raised the dagger to strike.
((To clarify. Itaku's spell triggered Celeste to go into a flashback. She became confused and forgot where she was or who she was with. She now believes she is about to get revenge on a soldier who killed her family when she is actually about to stab Itaku. Yes. I am really mean to my characters. ^____^ It's more fun that way.))

( well that was entirely unexpected, kudos you have my praise smile )
Itaku was taking aghast, Celeste had just gone into what seemed like a rage induced flashback. What could have set it off....the fire!!!! Itaku felt like an idiot he knew her village was attacked in the past, but the thoughts didn't connect till now.He was a fool, a fool who thought he had everything he planned out....this was not in his plans at all he might actually need to harm Celeste....his life was truly at danger in this moment. As he was tackled Itaku instinctively pushed Celeste off of me and against the wall with much more force then he intended, he was in a state of panic and used a great deal of strength. He quickly reached into his pack and pulled out his trenchknives, one began to glow with black magic as Itaku's eyes turned white. He tossed the knive into Celeste's shadow, effectively paralyzing her with blood magic...a forbidden magic Itaku hated to use but it seemed necessary. He jumped up and ran to Celeste placing his hands on her shoulder. He muttered a few words. "Umbra Universitas" A wall of shadow engulfed both Celeste and Itaku shielding sound and voice from the rest of the ship, especially the cameras. "Celeste get a hold of yourself it's me Itaku don't let this take a hold of you, your to strong!!!!!" Itaku lifted the girls head and looked her in the eyes, he quickly planted kiss upon her lips, lingering for only a moment. He hoped this would bring her to her senses. "Come on girl!!!!!"

((Aww, thankies. You surprised me too, I completely did not expect Itaku to kiss Celeste. Made me squee a little.))
Celeste felt pain run through her body as she was slammed harshly against the nearby wall. He was going to kill her, like he killed the others! She struggled against the grip holding her, tears still falling from her eyes, but she couldn't break free. Panic rose within her chest, choking her. She was going to die, die like a animal in the gutter without getting revenge for her family or even being able to tell Itaku how she felt. She doubled her efforts to get away, but they were instantly stilled by the sudden sensation of soft lips pressing against hers. The rage and confusion within her died down, and the vision of the massacred village faded away into cool darkness. The visage of her attacker disapated and was replaced by Itaku's worried expression. The dagger slipped from her fingers to fall to the ground with a loud clang. What had she done? While she had believed that she had been avenging her family, had she actually been trying to kill Itaku, the one she had come to love so much? Regret and horror tangled within her and she dropped her head in shame and apology against his shoulder as the tears continued to flow.

Itaku smiled lightly, it was a risk to do what he had done but it worked. He placed his arms around Celeste and held her close, he wasn't good at this mushy thing but it felt right.... He held her with tough and supportive arms, and placed his hand in her hair attempting to soothe her sadness. "Please don't cry, it's understandable why you attacked me...look I'm not hurt...to much" He smiled lightly. "It's okay I am here now, I won't let the pain consume you. Flood those bad memories with good memories of a happier time. Don't be upset everything will be better from now on..." He continued to hold her until she was done crying, he wasn't about to be leaving her in such a vulnerable state. He focused his magic in keeping the shield up, and smiled. " Your to tough for this to get you, dry those tears and keeping going strong!!!!!!"
