I bought a pet ferret. o.0

His name is Knight and he has a brother (my sister bought him -named him Leo which I think is lame and severely limited my own name choices but meh).

No as names go it's worked out, but my sister is trying to start a movement to re-name my guy Bandit.

Which I think is DOUBLY lame, because A) it's SUPER obvious,
B) UNORIGINAL in the extreme
and C) slightly insulting as to my naming abilities.

I tried to give it a little thought you know? Cause they just picked Leo (12 seconds after buying him), and theirs is the lighter colored ferret So I was like oh well "Leo the light, my guy has to be something with a 'D' for dark or named after night time somehow." To which they were like 'Hey yeah!'

I liked Dax, but everyone scrunched up their faces in that 'Ewww really?" kinda way, so I was like. FINE, (internally of course 'cause like I yell). Jet (but that's like naming him after a plane, which seems silly, like calling him 'coon, when he's a FERRET and NOT A RACCOON. )
Then I was like..Knight with a 'K' because it sounds like 'night' and of the two he's definitely the braver.

Which not the best name ever. BUT GEEZ!

My sisters thought is: Knight is basically her ferret anyway (despite the fact that I paid for him) so she's just going to call him Bandit.
Because she and her bf are potentially moving to another province in 6 months, and it's "not like we can just separate them anyway, and you won't be taking them so he'll be coming with us."

To which I scoffed and said, I believe I paid for him, which means you don't get to name my ferret, especially something as lame as "bandit" AND you aren't moved yet. Even if I DO agree to let you take him, he will be used to Knight anyway. So there.

(Besides, mom and I had this conversation on the way home, and the situation we see as being most likely to occur is: They will end up leaving the ferret at Mom's house with mine - as she's the one who wanted one anyway, and even if they do take theirs, I'll buy mine a new best friend pre- move for bonding time et voila. I'll feel a but bad for theirs, but it's their decision/responsibility to get him a friend. )



SO BASICALLY, not even buying pets in my house is simple.

GWAH @_@ I have work tomorrow and tuesday. 24 hours -> I so hope the one guy I had on friday isn't there still when I get there (though the hospital I work at does diddly squat over the weekend so her more than likely will be ...is it bad of me to hope that I don't get him?)

Well it is all about speed in your profession, PLUS
those motorized wheelchairs weight a fricking TON and HURT when they roll over your toes! And you have to pretend like it's no big deal, because -geez- they can't even feel their toes.

But yeah!
I have a wonky work week this week, but! It works out so my Christmas Holidays are from the 17th to Jan 8th -> So long as I actually get my leave pass signed on time T.T

Nah day after tomorrow if I'm lucky!~

I signed it, but the Major has to sign it. I'll just pick it up from the orderly room on Monday.

But anyways~ I wont leave it there.
Dad said he'd take me shopping tomorrow AM so I can go get it then. ^.^ I swear.
