Gryffindor Prefect Sparrow----Gryffindor ----3rdyear Gryffinclaw Quidditch Captain And Seeker Sparrow grinned at the receiving of points and she noticed Caiden slide in next to her. She smiled at him and said, "Heyas Caiden." She then listened to the next question. She searched her brain for the answer, but she wasn't completely sure. She raised her hand for a guess and said, "Is it because the skill must be learned and so many things can go terribly wrong in the attempt to transform?" She thought she was missing something and wouldn't be surprised if she was.

“He lives the poetry that he cannot write. The others write the poetry that they dare not realise.” - Oscar Wilde (Ah the test. I don't know where I'll find two hours, I'm sure I can finish it in less. I log on irregularly too, so I don't know about chatting with the teacher.) Nathaniel entered the class, hoping he wasn't late. He looked around the class and saw Amelia and Ginelle sitting next to each other. There's something that'd never change. Those two were the best of friends. He decided to take the free desk behind them. "Hi girls." he whispered. While he sat down, he took out his raven quill and his books. Nathaniel heard the questions and their answers. Animagus. He doubted their professor would teach them how to become one but it was a great topic.

New Lesson
Annette was glad that at least someone was guessing, but it still wasn't right. "Nice guess, Sparrow, and although that is true, not the answer I was looking for." Annette was keeping a tally of how many students were guessing, and so far, it was only sparrow, which made this difficult. She decided that it was for the best that she told the students the reason, just so she could get a move on the lesson. "The reason, is because to transfigure into an animal, you would also recieve that animals brain. To transfigure yourself into an animal and to keep the same mind track is very very difficult. As well as to keep the same brain." Annette smiled to the class, hoping they would understand. "Now, who knows the difference between a Metamorphmagus and an Animagus? Mister Alexander?" She remembered long ago when a teacher asked her this. She had no clue what a Metamorphmagus was back then. She sighed, having cried her way to the library to look it up, and then studying her butt off on the topic. It was a bit depressing for her, because she was all about knowledge. She wondered now how many students had even heard of a metamorphmagus.

Always lived my life, up to it's fullest. I've never had the chance to look back Just being myself, just being me, not trying to be what I lack. Caiden Alexander Fourth year Gryffindor Caiden was caught off guard by the Professors question. After thinking about it for a mere moment, Caiden replied "A Metamorphmagus has the ability to transfigure their face, body figure, and other pieces of their body at will. An animagus can transfigure their body into an animal they are similar to. The difference is, a Metamorphmagus will transfigure their body as a disguise, or for kicks. An Animagus is one animal they transfigure into every time." Caiden wasn't exactly sure if his answer was correct or not, but he guessed. It was last year that they went over this in their Transfiguration class, and their D.A.D.A class.

Amelia Frances Joan
Amelia was absorbing the answers. They seemed totally ridiculous when she thought of it, but they had to be true. She'd taken shape shifters to be things out of stories, but now that was true. Were lycanthropes? She raised her hand, questioning, "So Metamorphimaguses." She stumbled over the pronunciation, "Are natural shape shifters? Is there anything they can't turn into?" The awe was clear in her voice. To her, this was by far the most interesting thing she'd discovered to be true. Moving pictures were easily beat by transforming people.

'You might belong in Gryffindor, Where dwell the brave at heart, Their daring, nerve, and chivalry Set Gryffindors apart;' Ginelle Ginny Alaine DeLuccia . Thinking . . Speaking . . Action .
Ginny, unsure what any of this meant, was fascinated by what ever Animaguses were. She wasn't even sure exactly what they were, but it was really starting to interest her. "So, if they are natural shape shifters, then are there anything out there that shift... Unnaturally?"What if there were? What if... Werewolves were real? She shuddered at the idea. This was starting to frighten her...

Amelia turned around slowly, her wide eyes meeting Ginny's. Yeah, she was thinking about the same thing. Lycanthropes. True were-animals. If they were true, then how could she convince herself that there weren't monsters in London? If they looked like humans... then again, she told herself, normal humans weren't necessarily nice either. They could be monsters in their own right. Maybe the stories of lunacy for werewolves just weren't accurate. She hoped not.

New Lesson
The professor nodded to Caiden, Glad that he was knoweledge-full from where ever he came from "Five points to Gryffindor, and five points to Ravenclaw. Both for class participation" She smiled at the class, knowing that this was a good start on the lesson. "Amelia, you are correct. Metamorpmagi can transform, at will, into what ever they want. There really isn't anything they can't transfigure themselves into. Animals, skin and hair color can change, even their age and size can be altered.
And, Ginny, yes. There are... Unnatural Shap-shifters, as you guessed. There are many out there, but one commonly known is a Werewolf." She hoped that this was enough information for the class. She would wait for the question asking to end before starting the new lesson.
[ Sorry, Guys! I'm at Ginny's House, because I stayed the night. She just let me on, which is why she is offline right now. I'm staying tonight as well, so I may not be on very often! The lesson will start tomorrow when I go home! >< ]

Ginny turned to Amelia, her eyes just as wide as hers. Lycanthropes...? That was just insane! She turned back to the teacher, gulping, and keeping quiet. "Professor, you don't plan on bringing an Werewolf into class, do you...?" The idea of it frightened her too much. Why would the professor do that to the class though? That would just be insane. But, the thought had passed through her mind, and this professor may not have been on her rocker as much as she would have hoped... Maybe she would bring a Werewolf into class...

Amelia grinned at the gift of five points. She hadn't been expecting that. Still, the gift only momentarily took away the worry about lycanthropes. "Is lycanthropy rare?" She added on to Ginny's question, worry obvious in her voice.

Sparrow nodded acknowledging the wrong answer and quickly wrote down the correct one. She smiled at Caiden as he answered the next question correctly. She thought he might actually care about his grades unlike she thought at first. He seemed to know quite a bit and asked questions. She continued to write down notes as the class went on.

“He lives the poetry that he cannot write. The others write the poetry that they dare not realise.” - Oscar Wilde Even if he wanted to answer questions, and earn some points for his house, there was always someone who answered quicker than him. His class was smart. Very smart. Nathaniel scribbled notes, writing as neat as he could. When the subject turned towards werewolves, he wasn't worried. Lycanthropy could be controlled with a special potion. He didn't remember the name but it was on the tip of his tongue. He was sure that people didn't become werewolves by choice.

New Lesson The professor was surprised with Ginny's response, hoping she knew very well that she wouldn't expose the children to that kind of danger. Although, she could bring one into class during the day time during a half moon or something. That would be really good, although she only knew one, and he was... well, not the greatest test subject. She quickly decided against the idea. "Of course not, Miss. DeLuccia. And Miss. Joan, good question. It is not very common, no. But, it can be transmitted, depending on the type of Lycanthropy we are speaking of." She was doing her best to be very serious during these kinds of questions so she didn't scare the students away.
The professor thought this subject was going rather well, and thought now would be a good time to start the assignment now. She waved her wand and passed out a book to everyone in the classroom, knowing that most of her students were responsible enough to take good care of these books. She borrowed them just for the subject, and hoped that they would be of good use.
"Students, please note that there are three major sections in this book. One labeled Animagus, one being Metamorphmagus, and one being Lycanthropy and other Shapeshifters. In that last section, I only want you to focus on the Werewolves, okay?
Here is exactly what I want you to read: Pages 1 Through 7
Pages 11 Through 16
Pages 29 Through 40
Pages 55 Through 76
And, last but not least,
Pages 78 Through 84
Now, I know this is a lot, but I really want you to have a full understanding on the subject. In a few days, I will have some questions up for you to answer on the subject. Once the questions are up, you will have a week to finish the assignment.
The professor hoped the students wouldn't find it that difficult, but she knew that they were capable of handling this one.

“He lives the poetry that he cannot write. The others write the poetry that they dare not realise.” - Oscar Wilde (With the drama happening outside... We're going to have to find out which classes are happening before and after. This one is definitely a before xD.) Nathaniel stared at the board, then looked at the book. He mentally noted each of the pages he needed to read. He wasn't much of a book rat but he certainly was hard working. "This is looking interesting." Nathaniel looked at the girls in front of him. "You girls aren't so afraid of werewolves ?"

Devon entered the room with a calm expression on his face. He walked up to the professor and said politely. "Good day, professor. I'm Devon Flare, and I've just transferred here."
