Lilith used her back to push open the dining room door while balancing the large package in her hands. Turning around, she was startled to see fire on the table and a black shadow in the middle of it.
"Eh?! Wha-?"
Instinctively, she dropped the package and began looking for something to distinguish the flames with.
"Someone is on fire! Someone is on fire! Help!"

"No one is on fire dear," Liallia said waving her hand and washing away the flames and alcohol with water. She let her head hang back as a migrane began to show itself.

Realization dawned a little too quickly as the servant instantly sobered up. The redness on his face vanished, replaced by an even more pronounced pale appearance.
"P-plans? Uh....no?"

Lilith struggled under the weight of a massive jar of water, finally dumping it over the fiery table top.
"Phew! That was close. If anything got burned, that would be our throats."

"The fire wasn't going to hurt anything," Liallia said retreating from the rush of water. She stood a little whiles away from everyone and rubbed her temples thinking that drinking was a mistake.

The vampire's eyes widened as she looked at the water-soaked Dining Hall.
"I-it wouldn't? Oh no! I have to clean this mess up!"
She ran out of the room to get some dish rags from the adjoining kitchen.

"Oh! Pray don't!" Liallia called after Lilith as she ran out of the room. She sighed and raised a hand, the water floating in tendrils to her before disappearing. There was still a dampness to the floor but it was much better than before.

Rushing back, Lilith paused.

She felt so very confused.

"I took care of it," Liallia said smiling kindly. She shifted her weight to her other foot and sighed, feeling slightly confused, but mainly tired.

She breathed a sigh of relief, slumping down to the floor.
"Oh, thank you so very much!"

Slowly getting to his feet, Malphas raised his hands in a defenseless gesture and began moving backwards towards the door.
"What a choice...Either I die for him escaping by Katsuto's hands or this guy kills me."

"But you didn't help him..." Liallia said uncertainly, but making no attempt to move. She at that point, having only been in the dungeon to save that girl, was not sure what to do.
