The gryphon gave a happy and some what playfully teasing chirp before FINALLY wrapping her wings around Sammy. Oh Tahki knew Sammy was cold but fluffy feathers were here to help now. Tahki happily doggy paddled around the spring with her head held up high.

Riley got a nice splash in the face from Luce's little jump, and leaned in to eye the puppy close up.
You're lucky you're so adorable, she coo'd at her, scritching under Luce's chin before leaning back up and patting one of Jericho's submerged talons.
I am enjoying it. Very much. She answered, trying not to sound amused. Are you quite sure you still can't control your change, right now? If anyone could use a bath..., she patted his neck, and the dust on it puffed into the air.

Sammy clinged onto those feathered wings sighing happily. Damp, yet soft as they doggy paddled about right now. "Oh come on Malodore don't be so stingy! Riley hopped in, I did, my feathered friend is here as well. It won't hurt."
Tucked into Tahki's wing she enjoyed the ride with a happy care free sigh. The first care free moment she had in probably weeks.

"Well we don't have to, err," He was about to suggest they sit on the sidelines and keep watch, like some sort of majestic and vigilant battlescarred hawks.
At least moderately close to the pool and all the nice hot steam.
Possibly against something comfy (if sticky), like a peppermint bark tree.
Then he made the sudden realization that he had not seen any of Alwine's skin before. And there it was. She was white, of course, from haunting, and there was quite a bit more than he had expected. He wasn't exactly sure if he should look when she wriggled out of her bloomers, but he ended up looking anyway.
"Not that there's anything wrong with err, a dip." He checked from Alwine's legs back with Colette's expression. "Or maybe there is. West!" he called out a little hoarsely. "West, you going in?"

The lightning dragon laughed at the splashing and ducked under the water to avoid it (which sort of defeated the purpose but OH WELL). However, he came back up and scooped some water back in Riley's direction as a return 'attack'. Maybe this entire trip was worth it after all ...

Tahki gave a bit of a sly chirp before taking her self and Sammy under into the springs depths for an underwater moment and reemerged with a satisfied coo. Normally, Tahki wasnt this bold but hey the two had just faced off with a giant mecha robot. Tahki felt inclined to relax a little and play a bit.
Though her body ached all over from the fight the gryphoness was happy as one could be swimming like a playful little thing with a half naked zombie ghoul on her back.

"We are going to have to leave this spring eventually, and I don't think a tree is going to show up with warm towels. I'm cold enough without adding icicle formation to the list," Malodore called back.
Luce, of course, didn't care one whit - she yipped happily at Riley and paddled around some more!

Alwine beckoned to the group.
"Come on! It'll be nice and relaxing, and maybe we won't be noticed here. Come on... Colette, even if you don't want to get in, at least sit nearby. The same goes for all of you..."
The ghoul fiddled with her gloves nervously.
"I'm sorry, I'm being awfully bold, aren't I. I'm sorry. I shouldn't try to force anyone, I just think that the water would feel so nice."
She apparently hadn't noticed Barth looking at her, because she turned around and bent over to climb into the hot springs. Woooow-eeeee.

"I've tried. Still no luck with the shifting," mumbled Jericho. Barely lifting his head, he let out a huff while watching the students having a good ol' time in the springs. As Sammy tried to egg Mal on to jump on in, he had to wonder what was stopping the doctor. Surely it wasn't immune to the cold was it? Or did it enjoy it? He couldn't be sure.
But then the doctor made a fairly valid point.
"You never know, Mal. With some of the insane things we've seen here... it may be possible."

Riley glared at Aksaja, faking rage as he splashed her in retaliation. I will not stand for this outlandish behavior! She called out in challenge, and dove down under the water. It was churning just enough to hide her from plain sight, but if anyone looked underwater they would see that she was going down far enough to get under his legs, and if she got that far she'd likely grab his feet and pull him under. JESUS CHRIST SHE'S A SEA MONSTER GET IN THE CAR.

Sammy enjoyed the laziness of it all, simply letting Tahki nudge her about the pool giggling at each nudge. They needed this, they all did. So when Tahki dove taking them both under she simply let it happen grinning softly watching the strange snow white sky's of Christmas town distort above her. When they finally popped up again she worked at Tahki's sides with fingers rubbing out the soreness.
"I guess you have a point, the whole towel thing. We'll figure something out, maybe someone can start a fire for us to try beside?" Not like she cared, she was dead, the sensation of freezing would be more like waking up from a nap. Slow, groggy, not moving as quick but it sure as hell wouldn't kill her she figured.

"If anyone has matches, it would certainly delight me to burn some of those trees. If they're all alcohol-imbued, they could be quite flammable," Malodore replied.

Tahki cooed. The cold really didn't bother her to much with her thick feathers and fur but the gryphon had no idea that Sammy was not really effected by cold either. So a warm fire sounded like a great idea if nothing more then for her friend.
However, there was no way Tahki in the state that she was in would be able to start a fire. Did any of the students bring matches? Fear being off limits made things pretty difficult in this icy town.
Tahki lazily made her way back to the edge of the pool.

West had already managed to half-reply before Barth's question was fully out of his mouth. "No. Nooo no no no." He glanced over at the jolly frolickers and grimaced. Why didn't they all just giggle-jump into a pile of baby scareons and be done with their dignity? He even went so far as to back away a step or two at the thought.
Sure, he longed to wash the filth of this JOYful experience off of himself, but the plague doctor had a good point. Several good points. When everyone got out of that death pool it would still be just as cold. And this place would look awesome on fire. "Yeah," he added in an attempt to cover his reluctance to partake in swim times, "Anyone gottany matches?"

"Well doc, be the hero who saves us all from turning into ice cubes when we get out by finding a way to light a tree up eh?" It was a short remark and to the point and very true. She almost wondered how someone like her gryphon friend would be hurt. After all her feathers seemed soaked through and through.
Tugged along by Tahki she dipped under moving to the other side working against her side poking at kinked up muscles. She was sure she was guilty of adding a few by hitching a ride so it was the least she could do in thanks for it.
