Sound Village Academy

Sythril let out a loud sigh, realizing that even if he did decide on which of these jutsu to practice, he wouldn’t even know what hand seals to perform. Rather annoyed he set out to find the lounge Suzume was in doing- “paperwork?” Sythril rolled his eyes, his annoyance rising, “I finished all the paperwork myself before coming to that empty classroom, go figure I get the lazy instructor.” After searching what seemed to be the entire building, which only turned out to be a handful of other rooms, Sythril returned back to his classroom to find the instructor waiting.

“Skipping out on class?” she said smirking. “Just a bit, how was that paperwork you had to finish for me?” Sythril replied with bitterness in his voice. “Hmm, well at least you realized it; anyway did you pick the first jutsu you want to learn yet?” Sythril let out a sigh, looked over the list then set it aside. “For now I’ll go with the Flash step technique.”

Suzume, sighed and nodded, “Try to pay close attention, I hate having to go through things more than once, first I’ll show you the seals just in case you can’t keep up.” She went through a very brief explanation of what hand seals were and the correct ones to use for the flash step technique. “Now then, watch me, then try yourself.” Sythril nodded and began to watch her carefully, as she began to form her hand seals they were nothing but a blur to him, however at times he caught glimpses during these moments it seemed she was hardly moving at all however after blinking her movement would return to normal.

“Did you catch all that?” she asked when she noticed Sythril was spacing. “Bits and pieces of it, did you keep slowing down so it would be easier for me?” The instructor looked confused but continued, “I didn’t slow down at all. Why would I when I want to get this over with so I can get out of this place, by the way. It’s your turn to try it.”

Sythril let out another sigh, he wished that he could have seen how she did it better. While he was always good with school this was completely knew not textbook material he could learn on his own, he actually needed this lazy instructor to learn. Aggravated he moved back a bit and performed the hand seals she had shown him previously slowly while he noticed slight improvement in his movements after he felt more like he was just jumping from place to place.

Suzume rolled her eyes and called him back over to herself. “I’ll show you again, and then you try again. -Try- to get it right this time.” She moved away from him slightly, then again she began to perform her seals, this time Sythril was able to see more of the signs, but he also understood that he had not concentrated any chakra to his feet or legs before. “Be sure you get it right, you won’t be learning anything else until you at least manage to execute this properly.” Suzume said as she moved away to sit at her desk.

Still annoyed Sythril once again formed his hand seals, this time being sure to focus chakra throughout his body moving quickly he looked for a place to hide, but when he did find a place the instructor beat him to it, blocking his patch and knocking him back. “Tch, be less obvious, an enemy isn’t going to be nice enough to just let you walk into off to hide. In any case that’s all for today, practice on your way home and we’ll see how you’ve progressed tomorrow. She walked out, leaving Sythril humiliated and annoyed; he got up and made his way home for the night.

Sound Village Academy

On his way to the academy, Sythril made it his objective to get there without being seen by anyone as a way of practicing flash step. He had spent most of his time at home practicing the seals and chakra focus in order to execute the technique properly. He managed to get to the academy unnoticed, with the exception of another more experienced ninja in the village, moving quickly between villagers and from rooftops before anyone was able to notice his presence.

Still angry from the day before, Sythril entered the classroom which just as always was devoid of any other students or, Suzume the instructor. Sighing loudly he picked the least rickety chair and sat down at one of the rundown desks, (I wonder how long until she shows up this time) he thought. He had barely even began to lay his head down when he was hit over the head, “what did I tell you about sleeping in class, eh?” Suzume had obviously entered the room without his noticing her.

“Well, how did your homework go?” she looked Sythril over expectantly. Confident Sythril stood up and looked her in the eyes. “I think it went just fine, I got here without being noticed at all” he said arrogantly taking note to leave out that he was spotted by one of the other ninja. She smirked and he had a feeling that she knew already. “Well, why don’t you show me then, if you can at least make it to one of the other classrooms without my blocking you in here we can move on.” Though much less confident about this he still thought he may have some chance, looking over the room he noticed multiple openings he could use; there was the door he entered, it was less than likely that he would make it through that one. One of the grimy windows was ajar and he could easily fit through it, though the instructor might be able to get to it before him. Sythril sighed and looked up, and noticed hopefully without showing too much surprise, there was a small hole in the ceiling that could possibly lead to one of the second floor classrooms.

“I’m waiting.” The instructor said in an attempt at intimidation. Sythril made his move, he began to run toward the front door while forming his seals and focusing his chakra. Looking over his shoulder he was able to see that Suzume was also making her own signs but strangely she was moving extremely slow again as she had when showing him how to perform flash step. She vanished by the time Sythril looked ahead to the door she had already made it and sent him flying toward the window’s, Sythril had hoped for this and turned to attempt to maneuver his angle so he could make it to the open window. The instructor also must have expected this as he noticed that she was on the move again, (I just need to get her a little closer…) he thought to himself, and as she neared the window he focused as much chakra as he could through his body landing on the support beam near the window he launched himself for the opening in the ceiling. Cramming his body through the hole as fast as he could, he looked around it looked exactly like the room below, though emptier as it didn’t have any instructor’s in it.

Exhausted from chakra use Sythril fell back into one of the chairs and laid his head in his arms. He nodded off into a shortly lived sleep as another crack to the head woke him. “Good job down there.” Suzume was grinning, and he noticed he was in a much cleaner room; in fact it had to be the newest part of the academy since the walls were barely cracking and you could still see light through the windows. “Well kid, it’s been fun but from now on you’ll be training out in the real world with a ninja from our village. Don’t die out there.” She gave Sythril one last playful hit over the head and walked out, leaving a headband on the desk in front of him. Sythril picked it up, and made his way home finally free of the trashy academy though he felt he would somewhat miss the place.

Kiyomi Kokoro. She was too old for this s**t. She didn't want to have to deal with the academy right now. She had spent most of her time since she was a little girl just hunting out the pigs of the village, seducing them with her body and then luring them somewhere she could take them out. She had done it so may times she had lost count, but she didn't care. The blood that stained her hands was for a righteous cause. No woman, no little girl would ever suffer the way that she suffered ever again. The rose tinted shades that she wore, the frames creating a half circle beneath her eyes, accented the beautiful emerald green eyes that the eighteen year old girl sported. She heaved a sigh as she rubbed her hands together. The skin tight white leather one-piece she wore beneath the trench coat gleamed as she walked in the sun, the wool in the coat not exactly the most comfortable thing when in the sunshine, but it helped her conceal many things by wearing it, and the wool-lined seams and hood did look pretty nice. She smirked as she stretched in the middle of the academy, catching the eye of some of the other students. She thought about killing them all for fun, but then again, that wouldn't solve anything except how to get herself thrown in jail.

She looked around for a little while before deciding she would have to just learn a few things to satisfy the fools here, and after that she would be free to leave and do what she wanted. She could start taking missions, she could find more prey all around the world. The idea brought a smile to her voluptuous lips. She figured she would learn a few easy jutsu so that the coordinators would be satisfied. She hadn't spent enough time practicing her jutsu, seeing as she had all the skill she needed to kill already just using her bare hands. It was time to figure this chakra s**t out. She closed her eyes, as anyone could she could feel the chakra in her body, but not only that, she could feel the bugs. All those helpful little bugs that were in her body feeding off of her energy. She focused for a little bit, figuring most people started with the water walking jutsu. She smiled as she walked towards a pond. This would be easy. She focused chakra into her feet and she bolted forwards, confident in her ability. She hit the water and sailed across, the first step pounding down and sending her into her second and third. But when she let her guard down by the third step the fourth became disastrous. There was too much chakra and it merely pushed the water down and her leg sunk through it and she face-planted. A loud smack could be heard as she made contact with the water and she slowly swam back to the shore mumbling about 'this damn academy, and these stupid jutsu'.

Korinobu watched as Kiyomi attempted to learn the water walking technique and was surprised at seeming to succeed her first attempt, but frowned when she faceplanted into the pond. The shinobi academy jounin teacher walked over and stepped onto the pond, his chakra automatically diverting to his feet as he took his first steps. “Kokoro. You've failed... again. Get up. There's no room in Otogakure for failures. Not if you plan to be on the same level as the two most prized students: Kaguya Michio and Uchiha Sythril.” He crouched next to her prone form and clicked his tongue. “You're too eager. You get excited easily, and if you let your emotions interfere with your focus, you won't survive one day as a kunoichi.” Korinobu placed a hand on the middle of her back and grabbed her by the shirt, hoisting her up and carrying her back to the edge of the pond. “Now try it again. And this time, focus harder.”

She had been aware of the man watching her, but she had said nothing, most of them ended up swarming her to try and get in her pants, but she knew he wasn't watching her because he wanted to get with her, this man was a teacher, and a major pain in her a**. When she heard the words he spoke first it stung her pride, but she took the insult and swallowed the pride that begged her to swing at him. This man was a lot stronger than she was, that was for sure. But she planned on getting to the top of this village, and doing it quickly. That was what it was all about for her. She would become a powerful female shinobi, perhaps a junin or a anbu ninja. She would never become a kage, but perhaps she would become a feared assassin, someone that people went to when they needed help in a war. Someone someone went to when they needed something done, when they needed fear struck into the hearts of the opponent. That would be her. But for now...well...for now she was the pitiful person being carried by the back of her coat to the edge of the pond. When she compared her to the others and said there was no room for failures she gritted her teeth together once again. "I am no failure. And don't you touch me again Korinobu." She spat, her eyes aflame with anger. "Next time I will be putting a kunai between your eyes." She said with a sly grin as she looked at the pond. She took a deep breath. The man was right though, she was rushing this. She needed to be calm, that was what a shinobi did. They maintained their cool at all times.

She smirked as she felt her chakra once more, she had a good sense for her chakra just from constantly looking into her chakra and the bugs inside of her, seeing them all and watching them go about their business within her body when she was bored. She closed her eyes and she felt the chakra as she pushed it towards her feet. She knew she could keep an even output if she kept her focus on it. When she opened her emerald eyes she was walking out across the river and when she turned around in the middle of the pond she looked at Korinobu. "I told you I wasn't a failure. The s**t is easy, I just didn't get it the first time. Everyone needs a practice run before going through and just doing it. Give me a little time and there is NOTHING I can't do." She said, a sadistic grin upon her face.

Korinobu scoffed at her threat and rubbed his eyes with his index finger and his thumb, resisting the urge to slap her in the face and flunk her. Kids today... no respect for their elders... no respect for themselves... he thought to himself, then sighed when she declared herself victorious over the simple jutsu. His sigh was not one of relief, but one of irritation and annoyance. The hell did they stick me with this ungrateful, prideful, egotistical, entitlement queen for...?

"Yes yes.. very good, Kiyomi..." he said, and made the Bird, Dog, Ox, and Tiger hand signs, and the river parted three feet in each direction directly beneath Kiyomi, then came crashing back together when her feet were on the river bed. Korinobu stared at her with disdain and created a shadow clone, who walked to the left parting of the water and sustained his stance on it as it flowed towards the kunoichi.

She knew she was only acting like tough s**t because she was afraid. She had gone through a lot in her life, and she had suppressed it all. She had locked away who she had been before she had been taken by the man of her nightmares. She had locked that child away and she grew without it. She grew never knowing the love a child should know, the innocence a child should bear. She grew up cold, and nobody could see it, nobody could help her through it. Nobody had tried. Thinking about these memories however, put her in an even worse mood and she narrowed her eyes as she heaved a heavy, saddened sigh. But it was moments later that she felt the water beneath her give way and she was plummeting downwards. She landed with her hand on the ground, propping himself up and then pushed off with it, sending her in a flip backwards and onto her feet on the riverbed. As the water began to come down towards her she smiled, she had to act quickly, because whereas it was an easy ability, it was different when the water was moving, made it much more difficult to track and adjust your chakra output to combat the movement of the water. She jumped towards the water and she shot the chakra into her feet, stepping down on the water as it flowed into the pond and jumping off of it, leaping through the air and looking to where she would be landing, how the water was moving there, predicting how it would be flowing when she landed. She thought of all sorts of things, the woman really was smart. Her childish act of self-centeredness was just to keep her safe. Keep her from the emotional bonds she knew she couldn't make.

When she landed she adjusted her chakra accordingly, and she even managed to stick the landing and start to move back towards the shore. But as she made her step the foot she landed on sunk through the surface, and as it did she cried out and fell forwards like the first time she had tried, though this time she caught herself, using her hand just like her foot and pushing herself into a handspring that landed her on the shore without soaking herself too bad for a second time. "I am glad that you did that Korinobu...it shows me that you aren't going to take things easy with me. I want you to train me, and I want you to train me hard you got it!?" She growled, a bright smile across her face. She wasn't a total b***h all the time. At least not to the people who showed her they didn't look down on her completely. His little trap that he had pulled at least showed her that he was willing to test her and push her. "You think you could teach me something more...interesting?" She asked. "I am really not into the silly child tricks. I want to learn something awesome and then get out of this place. Sound good?" She asked with the smirk. She was an intelligent girl, and if the man put up with her s**t, she would find that out quickly.

Korinobu heard her invite him to push her harder and couldn't help but grin. "Alright, but you asked for it." he said, then made the same hand signs as before, Bird, Dog, Ox, and Tiger, then released the jutsu. "Water Release: Tidal Wave Technique!" he muttered, and the water of the lake began to part and expand, seemingly drying up the bed as the creatures that inhabited the river were caught up in the chakra guided water. The water rose and expanded to become five feet tall, then ten feet, then twenty, until it was taller than the tallest tree in the forest. Korinobu leaped out of the range of the wave, then sent it crashing over the academy grounds. Most of the water had come from the thunderstorm that was occurring overhead, and they were taking a really big risk of messing with water in a thunderstorm. The wave came crashing down and flooded the academy grounds. Once the water was drained from the field, he walked over to Kiyomi and showed her the hand signs. "You must make them in this order: Bird, Dog, Ox, Tiger." he said as he performed each sign.

"Now go to it." he said, nodding at the river that had reformed.

She grinned as Korinobu told her that she had asked for it and she chuckled under her breath. "Yea, I know I asked it, but you are going to have to do something impressive enough to be able to push me there old man!" She spat, pulling her eyelid down and sticking her tongue out. Though a grin stayed on her features. It was the first time in a long time she had smiled. Hell, it was also the first time in a long time that she had been talked to and treated like this by another human being. She couldn't believe she was in the academy at eighteen years old. Hell, a lot of young kids passed out of the academy by the time they were barely teenagers, some even preteens. She smirked as she looked back over to Korinobu and quirked an eyebrow as he began forming seals. She remembered them off by heart as she watched what he was doing. She knew the seals well from observing them being used, but she was clumsy with them and hadn't trained in any ninjutsu yet. But she knew that she wanted to master it and become a dangerous adversary on the battlefield. "So, what do you have for me you old geezer!?" She called out as she watched the seals and then suddenly she felt the ground move slightly and the explosion of water echoed through the academy. She kept expecting the water to suddenly stop and rush out, but the title wave kept growing and growing until it was bigger than any of the trees that she could see, then suddenly it lurched outward, shooting off in all different directions. She stood her ground, thinking of what to do and then she took a deep breath and smiled as she ran towards a tree. Another jutsu that she knew would come in hand was the ability to walk up trees. She ran for the tree as the water came her way and she began running up it without stopping. She knew the basics of this jutsu through having done the water walking jutsu. This one was just going against a more solid surface, and so the chakra needed was slightly different. She got around the opposite side of the tree just as the water hit. The water went around the tree slightly, but being against the trunk on the back side away from the water offered her a good amount of protection from the water.

She grinned as she walked out onto the branch of the tree and looked down at Korinobu. She hopped down from the tree and grinned as he showed her the signs again, but as he began to show her, he mimicked him, doing the signs at the same time. "I caught them when you were doing them over there. A ninja should always have a watchful eye right?" She asked with a sly smirk. Her breasts pressed against the tight leather one piece uniform she wore and she threw the man a wink as she turned around. "Piece of cake. I will get this down in no time." She said, taking a deep breath. At least this would give her a powerful jutsu to learn with, something that would take a lot of skill to master right out of the academy. But it was something she was prepared to do, and something she knew she HAD to do. She had to be more than just an ordinary ninja. She had to be an extraordinary ninja. She would go to the top. To hell with the other students that Korinobu was talking about. Eventually they would become trash compared to her. She would be the ultimate shinobi. And when she was...nobody would stop her from her goal. Nobody.

On his command she walked over to the river and took a deep breath. The first part of her training she figured would be to figure the jutsu out before actually putting it to use. She had dissected it already, and knew she had to bond her chakra to the water and make the water move to her will. But that was a lot of water to move, and thus, a lot of chakra to use in order to move it with. But she would just have to get the feel for it. She took things in logical steps, like a criminal. She was smart. She sat cross-legged by the stream and closed her eyes. As an Aburame she already had a fairly good idea of chakra bonding with things, seeing as her insects were there all of her life and they had been bonded with her chakra better than anything possibly could otherwise. She felt the chakra first, and then she began to push it outward from her body. She had done very little training in using the chakras outside of the body, but it was something that wasn't all too hard to get down. She smiled as she pushed it out of her hand, feeling the chakra flow into the air around her, she recognized the feeling and she let the chakra seep into the water that lay in the creek. She felt the chakra moving through the liquid, and she forced the chakra to stick to it in a way, the chakra holding the water and when she concentrated on moving her chakra out of the water, she smiled as she felt the water pull up with it. She opened her eyes in time to see the water being raised a foot into the air and then falling into the water, stirring up a few ripples but nothing more. "Seems I have that pretty well figured out then." She said with a nod.

She took a deep breath as she stood beside the river and in a flash she put her hands into the seals that Korinobu had showed her and she felt the power begin to rise as she did the symbols, the chakra becomeing more wild within her as she unlocked the jutsu's seals. She felt a massive amount of her chakra rush out into the stream and then the waters began to stir, rumbling for a few brief moments before the water exploded upwards. But the water was not going to go the way that she had wanted it to, instead it just exploded into the air, the chakra had not been controlled enough and just exploded outwards in a blast of water that did nothing more than soak her once more and shoot water into the surrounding area like a shower or a light rain. I get it. I need to hold the chakra, I need to concentrate on using the chakra to create the form of a wave and then hold it so that it can rush outwards instead of just exploding outwards in a chaos like what just happened. It makes sense I suppose. I feel stupid for not recognizing it before. She thought to herself as she heaved a sigh and nodded, it was time to try this again, and this time it would be done right.

She closed her eyes once more and the seals came easily as she stood by the river, she was confident, and she was ready for this. She could do it, she knew that for sure. "Alright Korinobu. Watch me now!" She called as she unleashed the chakra, feeling it enter the waters of the river, and then suddenly a wave grew from the river, the water flowing from the river into the air and circling around Kiyomi. After a bunch of water had amassed around her she pushed the chakra outwards in a 360 degree tidal wave. the wave grew tall, probably about ten feet tall, so taller than most people, but she couldn't muster more than that with the amount of chakra she had at her disposal. One day she would be at the level to make a wave as big as Korinobu, but for now, this would have to suffice.

Kiyomi smiled as she turned around to look for the man who had pushed her to learn this jutsu so early on, looking for some sort of acknowledgement. He had been the first person to really take time aside with her like that. To give her much attention at all, well, attention that didn't involve trying to grope her. She looked around for him, but her eyes fell to the ground as she stood there. He was gone. He had sent her on her little trip to do something and then left without even waiting to see the results. He really didn't care at all. "How naive could I have been." She growled as she turned on her heel and she walked towards the exit of this academy. She could leave this place behind now. Thank god. "******** this place, and everyone in it." She spat as she walked out. She had a renewed feeling of frustration now that she had felt played by the teacher.

“Chisuzu? Chisuzu get down from there!” The blond haired matronly woman called out with a stern voice. Her face was lined with age, though one could see through the deep lines of wrinkles in her face that when she was young she was beautiful. Her hair was the same honey gold hue as her daughter’s, though it was cut shorter and wrapped into a tight bun. Her arms were clenched tightly at her sides as she glowered up at her daughter, whom was hanging upside-down from the ceiling rafters. Chisuzu’s amber eyes glanced up, well down, quizzically at her mother. Chisuzu herself never understood why her mother was always so stern and angry, but she had stopped questioning it some time ago. “Why do you insist on studying in such an odd fashion!? You’re going to hurt yourself! All the blood will rush to your head!” Her mother chided once more. Chisuzu let her eyes lower back down to the text on the worn book pages. She was studying for her exam the most practical way she could; by maintaining the chakra in her feet to keep her anchored to the ceiling in preparation for the practical exam and reviewing all the material for the written portion of the exam. Still, her mother was upset and she disliked seeing her mother so upset, and thus she promptly tucked the book away into her corseted top by shoving it between her cleavage and walked across the ceiling, then sideways down the wall and finally down to the floor again. Her mother heaved a heavy sigh, turning her gaze from her daughter back towards the half-broken down restaurant. It served as their home and their income, but Chisuzu’s mother was hoping that very soon Chisuzu could help supplement that meager income. Chisuzu herself was hoping to help supplement her family’s tiny income as well. They could renovate the restaurant if she brought in enough ryo too, that would be nice. Maybe get a bigger place and hire some other works so Chisuzu wouldn’t have to try and work as well as study.

Chisuzu’s mother sighed heavily and rubbed the back of her sore neck. It was a long day, and she wanted Chisuzu to succeed. “Chii, would you go find some of your classmates and study with them today? You don’t’ have to work today honey, your father and I can handle it. Please succeed with your studies.” She smiled wearily at her daughter, reaching out and ruffling her hair. “Alright, go outside now. We’re counting on you.” She chuckled lightly, patting her daughter on the shoulder. Chisuzu made a face and smoothed her hair out before walking out the door and slipping out into the bright Sunagakure sun. Shielding her eyes with her hand for a moment, she jumped down from the short step and wandered out into the road, letting the door shut behind her. Frowning, she pulled her arm away from her eyes now that they had grown used to the brightness of the outdoors and pulled the small worn textbook from her cleavage again. She flipped through the pages, looking for something she might have missed and leaned back against a nearby building. The test would be soon, and Chisuzu couldn’t help but admit that she was a tiny bit worried.

~Hidden Sand Academy~

Enter the Kabutomushi twins, probably two of the biggest slackers and pranksters in this class of the sunagakure academy. Sure their lineage was descended from the aburame of fire country but they certainly hid that well with their bright yellow blouses and capri style pants. Their short auburn hair was tied up into a single pigtail both opposite of the other in that regard. Few seemed to realize they had a rather pale complexion thanks to the darker colored carapace of their symbiotic insects which layered their body inch for inch. Today’s mission was clear for them. Throw the clutch of water balloons they had in their satchels upon another prospective student…

Target identified Seiu, adjust trajectory mark three degrees up.” Jun’s voice squeaked out as her hand framed amber eye ‘scoped in’ on their target.

“Roger commander Jun adjusting trajectory, compensating for wind speed and elevation. Ready on your mark.” The Identical child called Seiu responded militaristically as she cocked her arm back a balloon heavy with fluid at the ready as they both targeted this blond girl who approached.

“FIRE!” Jun shouted out standing and aiming her finger in the direction of their target. And instantaneously a balloon launched from behind her dead sighted on the blond girl who was distracted with whatever was bothering her. “Fire at will cannoneer!” She ordered as a volley of balloons soon followed after. A confident smug twisted onto Jun’s lips as their targets doom was iminant.

Chisuzu licked her index finger before carefully taking the corner of the page and flipping it. The book was old, and borrowed. She didn’t have to return it but, still. She liked to keep her books in working condition, especially the ones she was using to study for a test. Her amber eyes scanned through the words, ingraining them into her head. It was a hot day outside, not particularly unusual for the Sunagakure, but unpleasant for Chisuzu as she disliked the heat. There wasn’t much she could do about it anyway though. She flipped another page, pausing for a moment at the sound of all too cheerful voices. They sounded familiar, they sounded… bad. That wasn’t good. Chisuzu lifted her gaze from the pages only to have a cold splash of water douse her face with a stinging bite where the water balloon burst. This was only to be followed by more water balloons until she was completely soaked. Her limp hair clung to her face, covering her eyes. She stood, feeling actually quite refreshed.

Shaking herself off like a dog, she shook out her now useless book before pushing the hair from her eyes to spy her attackers. The Slacker Twins, so she knew them as. What were their names again? Something… and something else. She couldn’t recall. Chisuzu sighed and dropped the useless book to the floor and began wringing her hair out. Her eyes looked calmly ahead at the twins as she quickly got most of the water out of her hair.

“Thank you. It was refreshing.” She replied calmly, shaking off her body again. It was no good. She was going to have to change into something else to get all the water of. Chisuzu was less than shy, and so immediately reaching behind her to remove her corseted top didn’t occur to her as something she ought not to do. She pulled the soaking corset and skirt off, leaving her in a only slightly dampened white slip dress, which lucky enough wasn’t showing through. She bent down and picked up her damaged book before holding it up at the twins. “This book, I was studying it. You destroyed it. Please help me study for the exams in its place.” She asked quietly, bowing her head a bit. Her mother had always taught her to be polite, even to people who soaked you with water balloons.

~Hidden Sand Academy~

“Mission successful Seiu, Target has been eliminated!” Jun squeaked out as she hopped up and high fived her twin. Both held the same smirk as they hopped from the wall to confront their ‘destroyed’ target. “Negative civilian your attempts at bribery will not sway us; you are a member of the rebel alliance and a traitor!” Jun exclaimed holding a halting hand at the undressing girl before them. “As you can see we have perfectly good articles of clothing and they aren’t even wet!” Jun explained a snicker coming from her sister who stood by listening. At the mention of studying the twins twitched and cringed simultaneously.

“Sorry those are the casualties of war, we can’t assist you in your troubles, we’ve done what we can… Ciao!” Seiu chimed up her voice identical to her sisters and if not for their hair difference it would be hard to tell them apart if not impossible. Both twins at this turned about on a heel and began to make their less than clever escape from the soaked girl they had just assaulted with balloons. They had never been much to study or to rectify their wrong doings and this combo platter just couldn’t sit right with the two so they figured opting out was the safest course of action. The girl seemed familiar but then the two would hardly in class to get to know anyone who attended.

UCHIHA CLAN || YOMONARU UCHIHA || CHAKRA RESERVES: 1500 || STAMINA RESERVES: 500

To be frank, the humidity could have been lower. The sun, much less scorching than it was. This however, was the day that would be experienced, no matter how many times you complained about it. Clenching his fists, Yomonaru stared down at the metallic weapon pinched in between his index finger and thumb; an ordinary shuriken, held tightly the young Uchiha's grasp. Time-after-time, Yomonaru had practiced at his own home, dead center in the middle of Kumogakure, throwing the lethal tools at his own practice dummy, straw flying backwards from every accurate hit. There was no one to teach him at home however, just himself. At the Academy though, the teachers prepared what would seemed like a training regiment, students gathered together, each facing their own practice dummy while they formed a solid line. The solemn boy had seldom ever missed a target, but that was only through dedication to the craft of weaponry, and the very blood that ran throughout his body. Yet, at the call from the main sensei, the students all drew their attention to the elder. Topping off at three, the teacher would point to the dummies, every second counting down until the number reached one, and from there, he would exclaim, instructing each student simultaneously to throw their weapons, either having been a kunai or shuriken for the time being, straight for the straw flesh in front of them. Although it was a few yards away, the metal flew heavily. Yomonaru dug his heel into the soft dirt, right hand coming over his torso as his waist twisted, elbow practically aiming straight for the dummy in front of him. In that moment, the Uchiha's eyes closed, reopening to reveal the crimson hues that wrought dominance centuries ago. His body contorted, then twisted right back, arm extending outward as his hand let go of the shuriken. Quickly, he retorted by wielding two more, throwing them in unison with a simple cross of the arms. The three tools flew swiftly through the air, until they connected with the dense straw. Particles dripped to the ground, a sure sign of impact. Embedded into the forehead, the chest, and where the heart would be located, had been the shuriken. Yomonaru stood up firmly, looking both left and right to his other classmates. Some had managed a solid hit on their dummy, another even had all three strike. Whispers sounded from among the crowd before the sensei had acknowledged that all were finished. Yomonaru looked down, hands reaching right into the pockets of his black shorts. "If only we could move onto something more challenging..." Now, he wasn't cocky, nor did confidence exude from every pore of his skin, but when it came to weaponry and accuracy, Yomonaru always felt confident in himself.
